There had been a few murder cases for the past few days where the victims found dead were found in pieces, torn apart by their killer.
At first, everyone thought that it was a serial killer on bay. Curfews were set to keep everyone safe and to make sure that they were all at home during the night while the cops were out looking for the criminal.
Well, at first, they all thought that it was an animal killing people.. Possibly a jaguar or other wild animal hunting people at night due to the claw marks found on the victims.
What hadn't crossed the sheriff's mind was that it was possible that it was not just an animal but something else. What he wanted was to keep the town's people safe so he wasn't cautious about his own life.
"You know, it could be a monster!" An officer had said making the others laugh at him.
