Before he walked away, the wind blew again... more stronger than the first one. He turned his head to look at the direction that the wind was blowing from though he could still see nothing.
Lucky was sure that the wind was some sort of warning to leave and he was going to comply with it. "I'm leaving don't be extra harsh". Lucky whispered before he walked out of the forest..
The feeling never left him. Someone was watching and following him.
He couldn't tell who but he was so sure that whomever was watching him, was plotting something. He tried to shrug the feeling away but it was impossible.
"Thank the heavens you have a scent!". A familiar voice exclaimed. He looked up before kicking a stone on the path as he continued to walk, his hands in the pockets of his hoodie.
It was his father.
His wings were still morphed out thus meaning he had just landed. He had been tracking him down. He wondered if Rufus' parents were also doing the same, tracking him down through his scent which could have faltered a bit due to the lack and death of his phoenix. Would they ever find him?.
"Son". Plutonic said as he stopped Lucky from walking past him by placing his hand on the young boy's shoulder. The lad looked frustrated and exhausted. He knew that this supernatural stuff caused a lot of headache but the sooner his son got used to it, the better!.
Lucky was going to be the next alpha and if he couldn't handle the pressure now, then he didn't deserve the title of being alpha... chief.
"He's gone". Plutonic said as he let out a sigh.
"I know Dad". Lucky replied cooly.
"Where to?". Plutonic inquired.
"Not really sure but I'll feed you the information the soonest I have it". Lucky promised, Plutonic dropping his hand, from Lucky's shoulder to his side.
"You better". Plutonic muttered. "Aisha and Hamlin are worried about him".
"It was to be expected father!". Lucky replied as Plutonic morphed back his wings and turned so that they walked back together... something they rarely did and it seemed awkward now.
"I hope he's safe". Plutonic said.
"I hope so too". Lucky replied.
"But if we had one thing. We could easily keep Rufus at peace". Plutonic suggested making Lucky to stop walking and look at him.
"Which way?". Lucky inquired.
"Through the star of salvation". Plutonic answered.
"Star of salvation?. Like an actual star that twinkles in the sky?".
"Yes son".
"But how do we get our hands on that star?".
"It's almost the night of the new moon. Once every five hundred years, that star falls right in our planet, it's a ball of energy and unknown magic. If used in the right way, it causes prosperity but you use it in an unrighteous way, chaos befalls you in a mighty way". Plutonic explained.
"In three days time, it will descend". Lucky stated out and Plutonic nodded in agreement.
"But you'll have to wait for it near the MW channel where it's more visible and easy to access. I believe that you'll be able to retrieve that star better than anyone else". Plutonic said, he believed in his son a lot. He had faith in him and had a lot of hopes for the younger lad.
"Until then, this is a secret between us". Plutonic added before he continued to walk away.
"Yes Father". Lucky replied, following his father behind. If this was the only way to help out Rufus, he'd do it. Taking part in the separation of the Phoenix and the lad had eaten him up in the inside. He was guilty though he had no ill intentions he still felt guilty.
"What powers does this star hold?". Lucky asked.
"That is what we are going to find out right now". Plutonic answered not bothering to stop or look at his son.

"You've been watching him for a long time and yet you've made no move on him. What is on your mind Akaya? Or should I use Ninah?". Roma asked, her tone mean and spiteful.
"Dear sister, she even killed Chief Shane Wang and his son Carl". Mirida added as they stood in front of the witch.
"Ninah. You can't go on like this, you need to make a move. If not him then go to your husband Plutonic". Roma said.
"I.. I can't they won't accept me". Ninah said, her voice cracking a little.
"We gave you a new body and identity. They won't know you. Well, apart from Lucky and Plutonic. You have nothing to fear". Mirida tried.
"Just go to them in the name of an emissary. Do what you must but make sure you settle amongst them. We need Lucky as soon as possible Ninah, the world needs him". Roma explained.
"If not, we shall give this task to someone else". The two elderly women said in unison before looking down at the ground where a black broken clay pot lay. It quickly revealed two familiar faces; Lucky and Plutonic discussing about one important treasure they were all in need of.
The Star Of Salvation.
"They seek it also!". Roma exclaimed horror was evident on her face.
"It's just three days for it's reappearance and they want it for Rufus". Ninah said as she listened to Plutonic speak.
"He can't handle it's power. If it's given to him, then the another unknown chaos will take place. Ninah you better leash your fearful horses together and face this". Mirida said.
"What do you want me to do?". Ninah asked, her brows furrowed together. "He just wants to help his friend our and you're claiming it to be chaos? Unbelievable!".
"Rufus does not have a Phoenix so he can't handle the power in the star of salvation". Roma hissed. "Make sure Lucky does not give that boy the star at all costs".
"The fate of the world is in your hands Ninah. Swallow your pride and go face them. You have three days Ninah. Three days to twist your way back in Lucky's life". Mirida explained before she and Roma disappeared in thin air but before they left completely, "Remember, only three days". Their voices we're heard.
Ninah sighed, "If Rufus has no phoenix, that means that he is completely human. He'll get ill, no healing and even death. He won't be able to reincarnate also". Ninah thought aloud to herself as she looked down at the black broken clay pot to see her son and husband before leaving to think of what to do.
Little did they know that they were not the only ones in need of the star of salvation.
Someone else...
Something else wanted the star as badly as they all did.
It had waited for five hundred years just to get the star and now that there were new threats, new people in need of what he believed belonged to him, he had to act quick... to act fast and lay his hands on that fallen star before the threat could get a hold of it before him.
Even if it meant that it had to get rid of them, it would do just that. Absolutely nothing was going to set an obstacle between it and it's goal... Nothing!.
It stirred a little where it had been laying for so many years. It's muscles aching from laying in the same position for so long.
It grunted and groaned in pain but there was nothing it could do to ease the pain apart from moving, which it did causing the rock above it that served as the roof to shake a little, resulting to dust and small rocks to rain down directly on it's face.
It huffed in annoyance.
It had to move.
It had to free itself from where it had been held active. Only two things rang in it's mind..
One, was to get the star of salvation not only to revive it's power but add more power to which it currently had.
Second, it's thirst for revenge couldn't be calmed down by anything. It had to avenge itself not just by killing it's enemies but torturing them in a slow manner both in physically and mentally not forgetting emotionally... it wanted to ruin them completely and seeing them in pain would cause it's heart to flatter in happiness and satisfaction.
It wanted to see them in misery. It wanted to see them in pain and on their knees.
But for all of that to take place, it needed to be amongst his enemies. It needed to be able to be with them without them knowing whom it was and it's agenda.
It needed a body.
It needed a physical body to use. A body that his enemies wouldn't hurt. A body that his enemies trusted and loved.
It stirred again, shaking it's wings and trying to stand up but the rock roof above it was below that it had thought and so, it hit it's head on the rock, falling back on the ground again grunting in pain.
This would be hard than it had imagined. But one thing for sure was that in three days time, it would have all it ever wanted... all it ever desired.
