Maynard was a little disappointed when the boy hadn't gawked at his pack house. It was a majestic five storey castle with great, strong walls even behind it's ancient status, it was where the alphas before him had lived with their packs and the castle was still standing. The castle was tall miniature that he was proud of showing off to anyone who came to pay him a visit or to the guests that he had once in a while. After all, no one had said that bragging was a sin.
It disturbed him though when he remembered how Lucky just looked at it and hummed a small approval but said nothing, not even showering praises on his castle like the way other people did.
Surely, this boy could not be compared to other people. He was different in all aspects and it made Maynard's desire of having him as a druid deepen. Lucky was so composed at the moment, he didn't look any bit of worried like the way he was a few hours ago.
