"It's not my real name but it's what people call me" Lucky answered, earning a nod of understanding from the alpha.
"Your name... Are you from Germany?" Lucky questioned once the alpha had let go of his hand. He knew what he had asked was probably true but he needed to start a conversation with the alpha so as to get what he wanted.
Maynard nodded his head in agreement, "Yes. My ancestors came from Germany though I've been there a few times myself"
Jumbe looked at his alpha. He had no idea about that piece of information and here his alpha was, sharing it with a total stranger.
"Maynard..." Lucky whispered as if trying the name out. It was a unique one but it didn't suit the owner.
Maynard smiled, "It means strong and hardy!" He proudly reported.
