Lucky dashed inside where Bakunawa was still cleaning up, knowing that he would close the cafe in a few minutes.
The café was virtually empty save for a couple who had arrived late, but Bakunawa had opted to serve them while he finished up at the rear.
Thiago pushed the wheelchair inside while Bakunawa approached the front after the bell above the entrance sounded, signaling the arrival of new customers, only to discover that it was Lucky and not the new customers he had expected.
"Thank God you're here... did you come with supplies to refill here? By the way, we're out of coffee beans." Bakunawa spoke as the couple who had been at the cafe rose up and left. They had already paid after placing their order.
"Yes, we did buy foodstuffs. But you'll never guess who I met today!" Lucky yelled joyfully as he ran towards him, pulling him towards Thiago.
