"Get us back down," Lucky ordered the cloud.
It made a u-turn before going back down where Lucky was the first to step down.
The loss of contact on his waist made him whine. Daniel turned his head to look at Lucky whose eyes were narrowed on him.
"What's wrong?" Lucky questioned, he was still holding Daniel's hand and he tagged on it a little to get him to step down from the cloud.
"No- nothing," Daniel replied as he stepped down from the cloud, his legs still being weak he fell forwards but Lucky managed to hold him up such that he did not come into contact with the ground, though he had collided hard on Lucky's chest.
Daniel slowly turned his head to look up at Lucky only to find him looking back at him. His face stern and his eyes cold.
The smell.. The smell wafting off of Daniel...
It took him to years back, when his mother was still alive and his father was busy drowning himself with work.
