Today was the day I've been dreading. December 27. My moms favorite day and recently my least favorite. My birthday. Usually I would hop out of bed and rush to get chocolate chip pancakes, but today was different yes I did get chocolate pancakes but but all she wanted to do was talk about the royal marriage and how I was so lucky to be able to be apart of it.
In 4 days I would take an airplane to Timp the country's capital and be forced to try and impress Prince Jaden and his demanding parents.
Yes getting to go to the palace and to be served like royalty would be great but and the prince is super hot, but the prince can't love anyone. He's stone cold. He's the complete opposite from his brother. Prince Payton is kind to the rest of us villagers and is always smiling. Too bad he was born 4 minutes after Jaden.
I was so nervous. The prince wouldn't fall in love with me. I was the youngest 16 year old in the village I wasn't as skinny as the other girls and my hair was always poofy and out of place.
It really doesn't even matter what I look like he just wants a girl who can produce a baby boy to take the thrown after him. I would just be a pretty toy to look at!
My birthday was just a series of "happy birthday Yasmine" , " You've gotten so big" and "You must be so exciting to see the prince".
Finally the day was over. I sat in my bed staring at the ceiling dreading the next 2 days.
