Note the story will continue in April's POV
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After Nao had her tea she left and Lea asked me to go up and clean the table. When I start picking up the cups and utensils I saw a little slip of paper underneath the plate. I grabbed and put it my pocket to look at later. I cleaned the table and brought the dishes down.
After work was over I headed over to my dorm. When I opened the door I headed in and looked around.
"Phew she's not here yet" I said to myself.
I sat on my bed and reach towards my pocket for the note. I started to open the note and this was written inside " since we're now friends here's my number: xxx -Nao ps: text me once you read this ;)"
I sighed and pulled out my phone. I put her number in and texted her
A: "yo, guess who"
N: "uh a cherry tomato?"
A: " NO, stop teasing meee"
N: "lol alright fine, April"
N: "so do you want to meet up at school during lunch or anything?"
A: Uh sure when is your lunch period…
After a few hours of texting my roommate had unlocked the door. I almost jumped out of bed from the shock. I asked her where she was. "I was out hanging with my friends" she said with a big smirk as if she was asking why weren't you with your friends. I ignored the smirk and looked at the clock, "you were with your friends for a long time" I said.
"Does that matter it wasn't your business anyways" Maya replied and looked away. She went on her laptop, and put headphones on. Which was basically a sign that she didn't want to be bothered anymore.
I got dissatisfied with the fact that I had to live with this girl for the rest of the year but it is what it is there's nothing I can do about it. Changing dorm rooms cost money and I didn't want to burden my mom any more than I already had.
I put in headphones of my own and jumped on my bed as a form of retaliation which probably didn't help. I sat there getting some shows in before bed since once school had actually started I would be jam packed with homework and my job.
Next morning
I woke up before my alarm and couldn't go back to sleep so I decided to walk around the dorms since I hadn't really explored them. So I changed into uniform and headed out.
As I was walking to the vending machine all the way down the hallway of my floor I saw windows that lead into a inner courtyard which peaked my interest.
After grabbing a lemon tea from the vending machine I headed down. It was still very early in the morning so barely anyways around.
The courtyard had been full to the brim with greenery, "I wonder who took care of them", I whispered under my breath. All of the sudden a tiny brown curly haired dog shot out of a bush and crashed into me. It started licking me and I giggled "hey stop, you're tickling me".
After a while of hanging out with the dog, a person came up to us. "Don't you know that school is about to start? " the mysterious girl with glasses said.
"OH, wait really?!?!" I said shocked. I put down the dog and turned to the girl. "Hi, thanks for letting me know, what's your name? Mine is April, oh and while you're at it do you know this little puppers name?" I said in a slight rush.
" The dog's name is Raida, my name is Lana, also no need to thank me but let's hurry" she said following my quick tempo. I pat the dog and said goodbye then swiftly left along with Lana and headed to the school building.
On the way over to school I got to know that Lana had been in the same class as me and was aiming to be class president. " I'll definitely vote
for you, class pres" I winked at her. " oh, lets just hurry up" she said as her half covered face got red.
When we walked into class there had already been a preassigned seating chart. Lana's seat had been right in front of me while a blond haired boy sat next to me. " Hi what is your name?" the boy next to me asked. " my name is April what about you" I said. The boy looked at me and smirked then told me his name " I am the one and only Ellen". Lana and both looked at him and stared.
"Hey… say something why are you both just staring" he said with a concerned face.
Lana and I kept staring and him slowly letting disappointment apear on our faces.
