It takes until dawn to tell them what he new about the entire tower in detail from its best and worst hiding spots to the secrets of the main interior design of the center tower. He then explains the details of everyone he knows and all the secrets the highers might as well have told him themselves.
Arnwall: *sigh* okay. Lastly the treasurer. Madam Valura Clouds. She has a perfect sense of funding and business but a terrible way of getting what she wants. I had a conversation with her just recently that just told me exactly what here interests are in the entire town. All she cared about was building a type of harem to her liking. She already has the entire tower council at her disposal. But ever since they arrived, the majority of her attention was always directed at General Zao. My most resent discussion with her told me exactly that. My biggest concern is that she's controlling everything from the sidelines just to get to him.
Gen: And that sounds like the woman we're looking for.
John: Now we just need her blood to fix miss Caya.
Gen: Wait. That's what you need?!
John: Well, how the hell else can I get a counter spell? The best way to dispel a curse is to get the caster to do it. Second way, the caster has to die before the target. If neither can be done the alternative is the use the casters blood to fool the spell into a cancellation.
Gen: god. Were you raised in a library or something?
John: you could say that, I guess.
Arnwall: Wait. What do you mean?
John: the treasurer is a witch. A dead sun witch to be exact. One of the most common types to easily fall into a twist of envy. She's the one that made miss Caya sick with a genital infection. A spell that kills the womb and then the woman. All with the source of envy.
Arnwall: Wait, Caya is dying?!
Gen: Not if you can get her blood.
John: one drop is all I need and it never happened.
Arnwall: ...done. What else?
Gen: keep up the intel. We'll keep in touch. For now I got everything I need.
John: And I just need the main ingredient. Think you can get it with out any suspicion?
Arnwall: I think I can manage that with some help from the servants.
Gen: good. Lets get started then shall we?
