He found himself in an area of nothingness, all around him was a world of white. Yet, he felt he could control this world.
This was Deus. The new "God."
He had found himself in this vast realm of nothingness after he completed his talk with the previous God. Since then, he had undergone a tremendous change.
He felt like he was everything, he felt as if he didn't need any questions to be answered. He knew everything one could know, he could continuously ask himself questions that he wouldn't have been able to answer before and answered them before he even asked.
Deus felt that he encompassed all that was good, all that was bad, and all in between.
No... since his transformation, he felt that words such as "good" and "bad" shouldn't even exist. Nothing was good, nor was anything bad.
"What's going on? he had asked himself. This question was like any other, his question was answered before he had even asked it.
"I've become God, a divine being who rules over the entire multiverse."
"Multiverse?" was another question he had, and it had been answered in a similar fashion to the rest.
"The human understanding of the world outside of Earth is extremely insignificant, even the universe in which they live is merely a grain of sand in the grand scheme of things."
Even with such huge changes within himself, Deus felt that he hadn't experienced even a single psychological change. He had retained his personality.
"It seems my very being can take any personality in existence, with little to no burden? I guess I just subconsciously don't want to lose myself."
"Want?"
This was the first question that he had no answer to since he changed. Why should a God, who rules over all things, want anything?
"What do I want?"
Deus was confused, "Why don't I know the answer to this question?"
Deus's goal remained the same, he wanted to fix the mistakes of the previous God. Yet, he wondered if the previous God actually made any mistakes.
"Humans were the first sentient race he created... their flaws exist only due to the fact that we can't remove free will. Can one even make a mistake when they are omnipotent?"
"We?" Deus asked.
"There are more Gods..."
Deus felt that he could split up his mind into an infinite number of tasks, if he had still been human such a thing would have confused him. However, "confusion" wasn't a word that truly existed in the new Deus's seemingly boundless vocabulary.
He split his mind nearly one hundred times, all with the purpose of getting information on his situation. He didn't need to research, he already had the information. Deus only needed to think upon and find the information within himself.
Nearly an instant later, Deus's head was full of information.
"I am not the only one. There are others out there, stronger and more developed than me. The previous God mentioned criteria, said criteria were simply asking to replace him and for him to agree. The Gods in existence numbered..."
Deus continued to verbalize the information he received.
There was only one thing he could think about the situation, and that was, "Awesome!"
He can finally change the world, literally! He can finally correct the wrongs of his predecessor! He can accomplish his goal! The infinite power he received was more than that of the Gods spoken of in legends, and he was only a noobie!
"I can't believe I, a God with mere Low-Tier Omnipotence has this much power!"
When scrolling through his google-tier brain, he dedicated the ranks of deities to thought.
Low-Tier, Mid-Tier, High-Tier, True Gods, God-King.
Besides the obvious infinite power and knowledge he had received, Deus also received the area of nothingness, otherwise known as the "Divine Plane." The previous God was lonely and used as what his world named "Heaven."
Deus has complete control over what can enter and exit the divine plane, and can also control how it looks.
The first order of business? Internet!
Infinite bandwidth! Infinite MB/s! He would defeat Japan and even Taiwan in this area! Omnipotence is just that powerful!
"The power to even surpass Asian technological advancements... I truly am God."
