The summer vacation is finally over and the school has started, all students came back from their home countries bringing along with them exciting stories about their families to tell each other.
But something even more astonishing has happened that shocked all the students even the principal himself was surprised…
Damon, the top student in the academic ranking, has issued his first challenge request against Morika from class A, the same class as Damon.
Damon has never accepted any challenge before let alone issue a one against others.
This news has circled the whole school in a matter of days, it became the talk of all students till the day of the challenge.
Everyone around Damon advised him to take back his challenge request, but he didn't give an ear to them and chose to ignore their warning.
Damon's classmates were mocking him saying, "A bookworm like you should stick to studying, don't do something out of your league, you weakling.
Damon was as cold as ice; he would take in those insults and not show even a tiny bit of anger or annoyance.
One day in the morning, Damon was sitting on his desk at the back of the class waiting for the teacher to come in.
But suddenly Morika stood up from his desk making a loud noise to grab all the students' attention, then he walked towards Damon's seat holding his chest high while the students' gazes were following him.
As he came in front of Damon, he glared down at him belittling him, then he said arrogantly,
"You aren't challenging me because of what I did before, are you?"
Morika deceived Damon before and lured him to Rukoro or that what he thought, but he didn't know that Damon knew it all along but he willingly chose to be caught in the trap and get beaten up by Rukoro.
Damon was so apathetic about what Morika said, so he kept looking straight ignoring his glare, and said nonchalantly,
"I don't know what you are talking about-"

"I just challenged you, so that I could climb in the ranking-"

Morika was so pissed at Damon's attitude he said in a tone full of rage,
"Don't act so arrogant just because you married the Elite, Justine-"
"You are just a nerd who will never be on the same bar as her-"
" I will make sure to curve this lesson onto your bones when as fight off-"
The teacher came in interrupting Morika's speech, so he went back quietly to his seat exerting a great offer to suppress his own anger.
On the same day after school was over when Damon went out of the class, Rukoro was leaning on the wall waiting for Damon in the corridor in front of the class.
As soon as Damon sees him, he blurted,
"After Morika, it's your turn now?"

"I sure am popular today" he comments sarcastically.
Rukoro came closer to Damon and whispers to him secretively,
"Come along with me, there is something we have to talk about"
Without questioning anything not caring about what could happen to him, Damon followed him as he was requested.
When they reached a quiet place away from the eyes and ears of the student, Rukoro turned and glared at Damon.
"Why is everyone glaring at me, today?" Damon asked.
"Was it wrong of me to issue a challenge against someone?" Damon wondered.
Just when Rukoro was about to open his mouth and say something, Damon interrupted him saying,
"If you are going to beat me up, please don't hold me from my collar, I almost lost my button the last time it fell off when u grabbed me-"
"Don't worry I won't run away, I will take your punches head-on like a real man"
Rukoro got irritated by the way Damon was acting so he tightened his grip making a fist with his hand. When Damon glances his fist he takes a few steps away from him.
"Wait… Wait… Let me take off my shirt just in case" Damon's says that as he unbuttons his shirt showing his bare chest and well-built abs"
Midway when he was about to take off his shirt becoming bare top till waist Rukoro said calmly while trying to hide his own anger,
"Who said I am here to fight with you?"
Damon was surprised hearing that from Rukoro's own mouth, he put his shirt back on and says,
"Then why did you bring me here in this isolated place" Damon questions him as he buttons up his shirt back.
"Are you finally gonna give up on Justine-" Damon wonders.
"No…" Rukoro answers confidently right away.
"then-" just when Damon was about to make another guess, Rukoro interrupted him saying,
"I will be straightforward with you-"
"I wanna make a bet with you! "
