On the seventh day, exactly a week after the incident Karol decided to head over to her campground where she gets herself to whip up into shape. After finishing her breakfast, Karol announced;
"Brian, pack your bags we're going to the training camp. We'll head there after we check out," as she washes her plates and cup.
"Okay, Karol,"
After checking out, the duo flies over to the scheduled island and head over to the campsite in which take up to 8 hours from where they at.
Feeling like back on her comfort ground Karol mumble to herself 'Camp here we come' as she look in front focusing on her road while Brian looked around like a typical urban boy entered a rural area.
Upon arriving at the campsite they were greeted by darkness everywhere Karol skilfully drive through the darkness and stop right in front of the camp gate. She then turns off the car and steps down from the jeep.
The moment she did that, out of nowhere, a voice coming from her right side asked; "Who are you and why are you here?" an obvious new guard while aiming the gun at them.
Karol responds; "I'm KR and I'm here to send this recruit," in her flat tone.
The newbie was speechless before she walk out to look at Karol face to face; "KR?! Impossible!" looking at Karol dumbfounded.
As soon as the newbie said that the whole place lit up and the spotlight shines brightly upon them. Then a familiar voice could be heard as she walked over to them happily welcome them.
"Oh my Lord, Karol. It's been years!"
"Hey Eve. Wassup, yea it's been a while"
"Come on in guys,"
After Eve said that, multiple jeeps started their engine as Karol too hop on her jeep together with Brian as they drive inside the campground heading towards their quarters.
After parked their vehicles at the provided space, Karol walk over to Eve and asked;
"How's Lily? Iris?"
"They are okay as usual"
"I miss the old team,"
"We miss you too" reply Eve as they arrived at the main quarter.
Karol couldn't help but feel nostalgia as she looks around the camp which was slightly bigger yet never seem to make her forget the memory and skills that she gain from that place.
"I'm here to sign my subordinate into this 1-year program since he's going to be working with me,"
"Oh okay. Wait let me show your room first and get you two settle in then I'll go and get all of the documents and paperwork"
"Tonight I'll just let you two settle down and get lots of rest because tomorrow, you boy are going to start your day and you my dear, looked dead tired. So get some rest, we can catch up tomorrow"
Eve quickly shows them their living quarters before she left for another important thing to do. Upon assigning their rooms, both Karol and Brian settle in and retire for the night as they head to bed.
A few days as Karol were at the camp she was accompanied by the triplets her best friend, her training buddy. They catch up with each other, talking having fun shooting at the range, doing some course and at the end of the day Karol collapse from exhaustion.
A week later Karol leaves the camp and heads over to Conchobar meeting up with her parents and sister before travelling around the world.
After arriving at her house, she loudly announced; "Mummy, daddy, I'm home," while closing the front door then removing her shoe.
As she expected she heard multiple footsteps coming from the second floor in a haste movement. Karol closes her mouth with her hand forcing herself not to laugh out loud at her family's action.
"Welcome back baby girl!" said William as he reaches his daughter first then he hugs her in a bear hug while Anna do the same action as she too; "Welcome baby girl," then hugs her daughter in a bear hug.
Sharon who was slightly late, welcome her sister as she join the group hug. Karol who couldn't contain her happiness and longing for family love, mumbles;
"Thank you, my family and I'm home," while tears pour out from her eye.
"Oh puppy, come here lets us move to the living room yes?"
"You okay baby sister?"
"I'm okay, sorry guys it's just that my hormone is all over the place right," said Karol as she chuckles at herself for being stupid.
"No worries baby girl, you can let it all out,"
With that being said Karol's saltwater dam of tears coming outpouring as if its dam has broken. What makes it worst is that her sister continues to run her hands over Karol's back, caress her as she encourages her to let it out;
"There, there, baby sister, let it all out,"
Karol cries and cried until she couldn't cry anymore and her stomach makes a sound indicating she's hungry making everyone dumbfounded at the situation, everyone then burst out laughing including Karol.
In her still sobbing tone she said; "Guys I'm hungry,"
"Come, let's go to the kitchen and mummy will cook your favourite food,"
As soon as they enter the kitchen area Karol like a feral beast stalk over to the fridge and quickly take out a pickle and peanut butter spread. She dips the pickle into the peanut butter spread and eats it like there's no tomorrow making everyone in the room almost vomit looking at her.
A few minutes later Karol's stomach churn making her run for her dear life towards the loo and pour everything out, emptying her stomach. This action makes her weak as she rests her body by the side of the wall.
The whole situation that comes like a lightning seems familiar to both Anna and William thus making them both look at each other exchanging eye signals toward each other than nod.
William quickly said; "I'll be back a few minutes yea, I forget to buy something," as he dashes out from the house and drove off.
An hour later William comes home with pickle, ham, peanut butter spread, jam and fruits, blueberry, strawberry, chocolate and a bunch of other flavoured ice creams.
Of course, the main important thing is the pregnancy test he secretly hands over to his wife without anyone noticing.
Anna like a woman with a mission, walk over towards Karol's bedroom, knock first then peek her head in as she asked; "Baby girl you tired?"
Karol the workaholic, looked at her mother; "Not really, why mummy?" as she closes her laptop and put it next to her at the same time, Anna enter the room with a slightly ajar door.
"Can I ask you something?".
"Yes mummy you may and you two there's no need to hide behind the door and eavesdrop cause I know you two are standing behind that door with your ear plaster at the door,"
Said Karol while shaking her head and laughing at them as she caught her father and sister trying to eavesdrop on them. With a nervous and get caught laughter, they enter the room.
