Chandler's POV
"Where is that beach anyways?" Ken asked.
"In Batangas, Pamplona's Resort."
"Is it far?"
"Not that far, we'll arrive there at or past 8 am."
"Okay." I reached for her hand and held it. I saw her from my peripheral vision that she looked at it and smiled.
"You know what?"
"Mm-hmm?"
"I am happy you're here with me. I was anxious that you may not agree to come. I can't express by words how happy I am. When I am with you, it's just instant."
"Yeah, I see. You're smiling endlessly like crazy."
"That's because I'm crazy for you. You make me insane, baby. Please, make me insane for the rest of my life."
She flashed a smile and chuckled, "Well, if I could."

We talk more about us, and I do most of the talking. "I clearly remember our first kiss. We were twenty-five years old, I confessed my feelings too. Yeah, you like me first when we were in high school and I was so stupid to reject you and lay my eyes to that Ianne. Vlacas!"
"Twenty-five huh?"
"Yeah, on that beach, and exactly when the sun set down you answered me yes and I became the happiest and luckiest man alive. That was a perfectly romantic timing, right? Exact sunset. You are really good at physics. You calculated the sunset." I laughed. She definitely is.
"And I became the luckiest girl as well because you said I've liked you since high school. I must be a attention seeker for you to see my worth. And I guess, I got you. I won." She proudly guessed.
"Yeah, and of course it took a long time. It was not a joke, you really pursue me in a hard way. I saw your eagerness."
"So, you decided to love me just because of that? Perhaps you pity me?"
"No, that's not it. I fell in love with you, too. Especially, when I found out about your charity project for the orphans. I was like 'Damn, she has a good heart' then that's it. I courted you in college. I'm madly in love with you."
"I have a charity?"
"Yes, the history of that is you watched it on television when you were ten years old and you asked your parents if you could do a charity with a hundred pesos! That was funny but heroic for an age like that."
"Woah."
"Speaking of which, let's go there next time. I'm sure Prince and the children miss you so much. And yeah, I made a promise to bring you there when you wake up. Do you want to?"
"I'll think." She answered. Then, her phone beeped. She read it and got shocked. She replied back and sighed. She put her phone back in her bag.
"What's that?"
"It's Mom. It's nothing."
I want to ask what is it but knew better. I don't have to know everything. She's honest with me since then.

We arrived at the beach after an hour of driving. I emerged from the car and opened the other door. I helped her hopped off the car. "You okay walking?" I asked her.
"I can but slowly. Anyway, thanks."
I nodded, "You're welcome."
"Wow, it's beautiful here." Yeah, she's right. The sun is now hiding behind the clouds, the ocean is low tide. The breeze is cold, because it's almost Christmas.
"How beautiful it is." I looked sideway at her. The first thing that caught my eyes is her red and natural heart-shaped lips. Then, her hair is flying naturally which make her like an actress. Her eyes are close, so I can look at her without making her conscious.
I moved behind her and hugged her from the back. She was startled but held my hands eventually. I will give everything just to stay like this forever with her. I will risk everything for her, even myself. Because I'm nothing without her.
"Face me, baby." I commanded and she immediately followed. I buried my hands in her hair and leaned forward. I felt her looped her arms around my neck and stared at me. "Why?" Then, I locked my lips in hers. I smiled when she kissed back.
I don't want this to end but I let go and look at her when I heard her crying.

I came back with lot of foods. I saw that our spot was already arranged. The picnic blanket was laid, the big umbrella was opened, and everything was settled.
Ken is laying down, her hands beneath her head, serving as her pillow. "Wow, Ken." As I approached nearer, I saw seashells beside her, arranged to the shape of heart.
"Oh, you're back. Let's eat?"
"Are you still mad at me?"
"Huh? I was not mad at you."
"You weren't?"
"Mm-hmm."
"Thank you. I don't want you being mad at me." I sat beside her and pinched her cheeks.
"Ouch!" She complained and we laughed together.
