"What's that supposed to mean?" Scarlett turned to face Jean, her heart thumping wildly in her chest. She knew she wouldn't be able to run away this time and there was nothing and no one around to interrupt them.
"Come on, don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about. I mean, I don't even know for sure if we are back together right now. Everything's just so uncertain and I hate having uncertainties when it comes to you." Jean sighed and sat up on the bed and Scarlett did the same, both of their feet's touching the ground as they straightened up.
Scarlett stayed silent for a few moments, then finally sighed. "I mean, if we weren't back together I wouldn't be going on a trip around Europe with you, no?" She gave a lopsided smile at an unsmiling Jean who couldn't resist rolling his eyes at her playfully.
