"So the experiment failed?" Ronnie asked for clarification after Clinton read the reports out loud. "What happened next?"
Clinton scrolled down but there was nothing next. He looked up from his computer to ask the scientist who had brought it but Leto answered before he could.
"As I've said earlier, this was all I could copy without raising alarm," she explained. She leaned over her knees, clasping her hands together. "I did not read the whole thing. But I scrolled through it and saw that the Frequency experiment was closed down after those that developed abilities died a few days after the initial test,"
"They died?" Alec asked in complete shock. "But Jet and Alice. . .?"
