William Jaeger stood patiently in the shuttle, waiting for the green light to jump out onto the asteroid's surface. He studied the right arm of his suit, the crimson paint that was near the blaster barrels burned away, revealing the metal beneath. He looked away, towards his Red Death troopers. They all stood silent, waiting for the green light and waiting to proceed with the mission.
Suddenly, the light within the drop ship lit green, the ramp slowly opening, exposing the troopers and William to the cold surface of the asteroid Polis Massa. William was grateful that his suit was sealed and prepared for an operation such as this one, he then looked to his troopers, and noticed that they were ready to jump out. He nodded, facing forward and watching as the location of the rebel cell came to view. He saw what looked like a garage open up, and two AAC-1 speeder tanks levitated out, rebel ground troopers wearing recycled clone helmets running alongside them. William scoffed, raising his left wrist, his rocket prepping to fly towards his target. He aimed for one of the ACC tanks, and fired, the rocket hitting one of the missile turret's silos, blowing up the rear of the tank. William watched as the tank's pilots were flung out and hurled into the void, feeling no emotion for these rebel scum.
The drop ship finally landed, and the Red Death rushed out onto the surface of Polis Massa, firing at the ground troops that tried to intercept them. William slowly walked towards the garage, watching as the tank sped up to him. While it was firing at the drop ship, it was planning on running William over. William shook his head as he heard the drop ship blow up, shifting his stance and planting his feet firmly on the ground. Then, stabilizers popped out from both feet, and dug into the surface as William watched the tank charge at him. He leaned forward, pointing his shoulders at the tank. two plates on his shoulders moved, revealing two large blasters. the two fired at the same time, then merged into one as they made contact with the speeder, destroying it completely. Debris flew past William as his shoulder plates moved back to their position and the stabilizers retracted back to his feet.
"Hard to believe that the suit's secret weapon is a miniature turbo laser." William heard one of his troops saying. He looked around, seeing that the initial welcoming committee had been taken care of.
"Remember men, this is the Empire's secret. No one other than you knows of this suit's secret power. Understood?" William spoke, walking to the garage. His troops gave a confirmation, following behind their leader. The wave of red made it to the garage and began to kill any rebels within the base.

The base commander slammed his fist on the holo table, watching as the Red Death swept through the base. He then pulled out a data disc, pulling an officer aside and handing it to her. He closed her hand around it and looked this woman in the eye. No words were spoken, but they understood one another perfectly. The officer began to run from the commander, but was flung into a wall as the door was blown open. The woman was knocked unconscious.
The commander looked to where the door had been and raised his side arm, but was then riddled with blaster holes, falling to the ground. William and two troopers walked in, searching for any surviving rebels they could capture. The troopers took the consoles, flipping over the remaining rebels that were seated there. They found no survivors.
William walked over to the body of a woman that was laying on the floor. She looked almost completely fine, save for some cuts from being flung. He looked to her closed hand, seeing the gold disc of a data disc. He moved to take it but stopped, looking to her head as some strands of her blonde hair fell to the floor. He couldn't help but admire her features. Her smooth pale skin, her long silky blonde hair, her-
What was he thinking? This was rebel scum. He shook some sense back into himself and grabbed the disc. He then called to the other troops, pointing at the girl. The troopers came over and picked her up, carrying her out of the base CIC. William moved to the holo table, opening up the files the base commander was going to delete. He copied it onto a separate data disc and pocketed the one from the woman, and called a trooper over to take the one meant for Lord Vader.
The assault on the Polis Massa rebel cell was a success. William once again brought victory to the Empire. As he walked into the drop ship sent to pick them up, however, he began to wonder.
Where did those strange thoughts come from?
