My ears were ringing and my eyes were tightly shut. I froze, waiting to feel the horrible piercing pain but it never came. I finally opened my eyes to see bandit two on the floor, sputtering blood. His eyes were wide and his free hand covered his neck which blood was rapidly gushing out of like water from a tap.
I immediately got to my knees and swivelled my head sideways to see who had shot him. Zeke was the only one that had a raised gun in his hand and his eyes were wide open as almost everyone stared at him.
'He just saved my life.'
"You just shot him!" bandit one yelled, shattering the silence that had settled on the street with the tact of a hammer and I glanced at the man that was still sputtering blood on the floor.
