The steady tick of the clock on the wall filled the room. Everyone was silent and by everyone, I meant the people that survived the attack. There had been eighty nine residents in the estate, not including the new people that showed up before the attack. Now, it was down to twenty three people. Everyone else was dead and if they weren't, they were missing or were part of the people that went on the scouting run yesterday and hadn't come back. All the soldiers that were in the estate including the second-in-command, Colonel Bates, were dead and Enny was gone.
