Recape: Sage is still stuck at wolfy's home alone. This is day three of her missing from the pack. Of course no one has even attempted to find her. Sage can't stand being stuck within the cabin anymore, and decides to shift and workout. She stumbles upon a weird watering hole while on her run, and realizes to late that she was not alone.
Jacob Nightingale POV:
Shit this can't be happening is. The Nightingale Pack is one of the strongest in the country. How the hell did we manage to loose one of the smartest females in the pack without a trace. Fucking Trevor. He was the one that hurt the girls feelings. He was the damned reason she ran away for the first time in her life. He was the one that caused this damn mess. He was suppose to be my beta, but this is just another reason why he would be a bad second in command. I push my mini office doors wide open. I was suppose to claim the alpha position soon. This for one looks bad on me because I was one of the last people that saw her, and two I didn't even help her after I saw how much pain she was in. I was in charge of the werewolves at the highschool, and I failed that. I'm such deep shit. We've tried tracking her, but all links of her scent all end at that damn pond. What the hell was she thinking. We have so many rouges hiding within these damn woods. It's like she washed her scent off within the pond. It honestly doesn't matter how she did it, but there's just no other trails leading from it. It faintly smelled like there was another wolf their with her, but the scent was just a good distance away from her. Oh shit, it all fit into place. Sage I think her name is had mentioned many times in the past to her friends that swimming is her calming mechanism. That's why she went to that hidden location, she didn't want to be bothered. This extra wolf must've snuck up to her maybe hidden in the underbrush, but she was always so cautious with this stuff. How did she get caught? I have to go back and look for more clues or hints. I will not let my pack fall because of a pity argument. I quickly run to the backdoor of the pack house. This activity will be quicker if I run. I shift into my large black wolf before hitting the tree line. I know black wolves are kinda rare, and are the stereotypical evil wolf just because of the color. I never really thought we are different from other wolves except for size. Black wolves tend to be on the larger size. Before I realized it I was back at the pond. I followed her scent trail to the ponds edge. I walk around the edge of the pond until I found light prints. I followed them to the treeline, oh no the other wolves smell reeked here. She had to have been taken around here. I will find her, I need to find her for the sake of the pack. I caught the smell of the other wolf and take off. I weave in and out of the trees and under brush. Shit I forgot to call in back up. I mind link my father and all the warriors I could get ahold of, and told them to follow my scent. I kept a steady pace while still following the scent of this rouge. I finally saw a clearing a few yards ahead of me. I leap into the open field to realize there was a log cabin dead ahead. I lift my nose to the sky and inhaled. This area reeked of the rouge wolf. I slowly walk to the side of the house and look through the front window. Everything was dark and closed up. I walk slowly up the stairs and across the deck. I crack the door open just a tad bit and peaked through. Absolutely nothing, but the rouges scent was very faint. He hasn't been here in what seems like days. I walk in and survey the house. Surprisingly the house was relatively empty except a few personal things. I walk towards what seemed to be the basement. There were two doors at the bottom of the stairs. I push the first door open, and it hit me all at once. The room reeked of both Sages and the mystery wolf's scent. I walk in and looked around. By the looks of it the rouge was a male, but surprisingly this rouge has everything a normal pack wolf would have. He has a cabin, furniture, food, running water, and electricity. It makes no sense on why he would take her unless maybe he needed a mate. Shit neither of them are here, or anywhere to be seen. I jump out of the house and wait for the pack warriors, here we go again.
