It was a windy day, winds from outside when inside Andrea's room cause her to wake up. Weakly and with a heavy body, she stood and closed the open window.
"Madam? "
She slowly opened her eyes and saw Ellisa with a very long face, it made her pound her chest. She was gazing at Ellisa as tears dropped from her eyes, she walked closer to Ellisa.
"What happened ?" she asked as she was closer to Ellisa. Suddenly, she hugged her, with a sudden emotion she felt and hugged Ellisa back.
"I'm sorry Madam, I was jus-"
"It's okay, but what happened?"
"It's about my daughter, she was diagnosed with Chronic lymphocytic leukemia" she sobs, kneeling on the ground without any strength. She just fell onto the ground.
"Ellisa? Wake up!" Andrea wakes her up while running towards the ER.
"Just wait here maam" the nurse said as she closed the door. She was alone, Carmela was in her school. She had no choice but to call for Dreb to pick up her daughter.
"Hello"
"Can you pick up Carmela, she was in her school"
"Why? Did something happen?"
"I'm at the hospital right now,"
"What! Are you okay? What happened ?"
"I'm fine, it's Ellisa, she just collapsed so i run her to the hospital"
"Okay, Don't worry I'll pick up Carmela now"
The call just ended, as it ended , Ellisa was out from the ER.
"How is she? She is fine?" she asked the doctor as it got closer to her.
"She's fine but need some rest"
"Okay, thank you doctor"
"You need to be okay, you need to fight. You need to wake up" she was talking to the unconscious woman in front of her as someone opened the door.
"Ma?" A girl shouted and ran towards Ellisa, she was crying. Andrea was looking at the girl, she sobs as she can reflect herself when the time her mother was in the hospital. Flashback came again on her, the knife, the stabbed, the blood and her mother's face was in pain.
She stood as went outside, panting. Dreb saw her and quickly got close to her. "You okay?" as he held her hands she couldn't stop herself by hugging the man.
"It's alright, I'm here" he tapped her back , rubbing her head to comfort.
"Thank you" she just down headed when walked backwards.
Minutes later, the daughter of Ellisa went out. She looked depressed and frustrated. She was still sobbing when she walked towards the exit. "I'm following her" Andrea said and ran to follow the girl. A sigh Dreb released as he followed the two women.
The young girl was on the side of the road, she could no longer bear the pain she was feeling. She was sick, and she could not fully imagine that her mother was in the hospital. The girl burst into tears, not noticing that the traffic light had stopped. Andrea immediately turned around to look for the girl. She was shocked when the child suddenly walked slowly with her head down without paying attention to the red traffic light.
"Kid!! Hey Kid!" Andrea shouted as she ran towards the child. Dreb felt shocked and frightened when he saw the two women.
"Andrea !!"
Andrea pushed the child away, knocking and running over Andrea by a truck. The child was stunned by what she saw, she could not move from her position. She was startled that someone grabbed her and pulled her away in the middle of the road.
"You just stay here kid " she just nodded. Trembling, the young man walked towards Andrea. Fear, nervousness, anxiety he feels as he gets closer and closer to the woman. blood spread on the road caught everyone's attention.
"Andrea, wake up, please!" The young man only said to his beloved.
Her eyes widened and there was a small smile on her lips, "I love you" she suddenly lost consciousness and pulse.
Dreb was outside the operating room and waiting for Andrea to come out. He walked around and around, his friends looking onto him. "Stop it, we feel dizzy seeing you like that" he looked at them and sigh. Breathing deeply as he sits on the chair.
"Everything will be okay too, don't worry bro "Aly approached and patted his back. He just nodded and smiled fakely. A few hours later, Andrea still had not come out from theOR. Their son was left with Dreb's nanny. His daughter did not know what had happened to her Mother.
After 1 day....
"Dad, is mommy gonna be fine?" his daughter asked as she sadly looked at her Mother in bed.
He sigh, "You're mommy will gonna be fine, don't worry"
"Bro, Andrea is gonna be fine don't worry. I'll take care of Carmela for now" Wyne said and took Carmela out and went home.
Holding Andrea's hand as he sits down beside the bed. "I missed you so much, please come back" tears drop, heart aches, pain hits his chest.
A voice Andrea heard, a voice that was familiar with her. She was looking around as she saw only white all around. "Carmela?" she shouted as she was walking around, but all she can see is white. All was white, it was strange, she was hearing some voices.
"Where am I" she was asking herself while continuing to walk.
"Please wake up, we need you, I need you" she stopped, her chest was beating so fast. She can't understand but her heart feels that it was him.
"I want to go back" she was closing her eyes. Her finger moved as Dreb noticed it, he was smiling while holding her hands.
She woke up panting, she was sweating, she looked around and saw Dreb. She hurriedly hugged him, eyes were teary. Tears were dripping, he hugged back. A warmth hugged was between them.
Andrea looked happily at the man in front of her, the man she loved then until now. She wiped away tears from her eyes, they slowly approached each other and their lips came together. A romantic kiss from the two of them. They miss each other so much, their kisses deepen as they continue doing it.
A few minutes later, they continue kissing until the door opens, Dreb hurriedly stood and acted to walk, Andrea acting sleeping. After the nurse left, the two were laughing. Smiles on their faces were traced. Happy thoughts, happy faces, it's been a long time for time to be like this.
"You okay?" she just nodded and smiled at him.
"I missed you" he kissed her forehead and smiled. The smile on their faces can't be removed, this is the first time they had fun and they can laugh. She was glancing at him when she realized this isn't right.
"This isn't right"
"What?"
"You can leave now, and don't come back"
"Bu-" he sighs and looks down as he starts to walk outside her room.
(Door closes)
As the door closes, she sighs and lay on her head. She closes and opens her eyes, " What am I doing?" she asked herself while sighing.
She just closed her eyes.
Morning came, a sunny and beautiful weather woke her up. She was smiling, yawning before looking around. She looked around and no one was here for her, no one could take care of her. She kicked out Dreb, she feels guilty. She slowly stood and decided to look for Ellisa.
She was outside the room when she noticed the kid was about to pull out the oxygen from Ellisa. Having difficulties to walk, Andrea confidently and forcefully went inside to stop the kid.
"What are you doing kid?" The kid was astonished as she saw the woman behind her. Her hands were trembling, knees were shaking. Swallowing some of her saliva the kid takes her knife on her bag and points it to Andrea.
"Put the knife down kid, I won't hurt you" she calmly said but the kd was angrier.
"Don't go near me, or else. I will kill my own mom in front of you."
"Please don't do that"
"Or else, you want to die? It was your fault after all" the kid said which surprised her.
"Why is it my fault?" she asked confusedly.
"Because she works for you and your damn daughter. Can't you take care of your own daughter?" the kid was crying while asking her.
"She has always been working for you, she forgot about me and then I was diagnosed with my illness. Then she went home but it was late, I can't live any longer" the kid sobs and she was telling Andrea.
"I'm sorry if you feel that way, she was working hard for your treatment. She was always been talking to me about you, your mom really loves you"
"That's not true, she never even cared for me until she found out about my illness."
"I'm sorry" that's the only thing Andrea can say to the kid.
"I know you are a good kid, your mom is really a good person which is the reason I loved her. You really looked like her"
"Stop!" the kid shouted and pointed the knife to her.
"If you want to hurt, then hurt me" Andrea just closed her eyes with her arms wide open. The kid walked closer to her and stabbed her.
"I know you are good"
