Chereads / DOMINUS ETERNAL / Chapter 30 - Devious Gzo And Wise Samurai

Chapter 30 - Devious Gzo And Wise Samurai

The world AI gave the command, and the Morgols obliged.

Nacreous clouds covered the visibility with radiant clouds.

Unfortunately for Morgols, they couldn't use anything other than the dual katanas, even the leg kicks, backhanded strikes, and so on were prohibited.

Restrictions dished out before the battle was now transforming into a true obstacle because if Kadai could use his leg, he would have kicked his disciple Laren away. But now that was impossible she was like a leech stuck on him trying to squeeze him dry.

This disciple of his was a little eccentric in nature.

She was hard to tame and guide, but Dominus said to him that she would carry his way of the samurai the best, so he accepted her, and it appeared to be true, her talents exceeded Kadai's expectations. The outcome of their training sessions was fabulous. Only she was hell-bent on killing him in this arena to prove her badassness by exceeding the teacher who taught her.

This created a lot of headaches for Kadai who wanted to unite with his disciples and win.

The luck was also completely on his side, but who knew when he avenged Han! Laren would try and kill him.

Kadai was being attacked by Gzo and two hidden assailants along with Laren, luckily Gzo was a dangerous opponent, so he was probed and harassed himself.

Kadai turned around and blurted out with anger, "my good disciple you proved your capable by sneaking up on me in this dangerous environment, why don't we use the advantage we have and kill everyone."

Laren looked around, blood radiance illuminated the clouds they were traversing through, she already felt certain Morgols eyeing her like prey, so she slightly retracted the katana from Kadai's rib and absorbed the blood that was trying to wreak havoc inside him.

"Master I have to say you're a tough opponent. I can't just let my hard work go to waste, so bear with me or die and allow me to continue the battle freely.

"Ungrateful disciple!! Stop pouring more blood in my body, this instance!"

Kadai's katanas began to overflow with blood in an attempt to cover himself and Laren.

Seeing Kadai's actions Gzo and others got nervous if Kadai managed to isolate his disciple and eliminate her, he would be free to move and attack.

Such an outcome was unacceptable. This was the best chance they had at killing him, and they all knew how stubborn Laren could be.

"Lets attack!" Gzo roared and charged towards Kadai.

Along with him, seven more Morgols from all directions sprinted towards Kadai.

"Seven, huh!" Gzo secretly thought to himself. Nobody noticed how he slightly slowed down and limited his advance.

Blood ball formed around Kadai and Laren the very next second Morgols penetrated with their blood sharpened katanas while erupting with power.

The moment long-haired, silver-eyed middle-aged man pierced the blood ball he made a slashing motion directly towards the position were he assumed Kadai would be, but suddenly his eyes opened wide because he felt a stinging pain in his chest. It has to be noted the speed at he charged with exceeded the speed of sound and the slash was even faster carrying full momentum of his body with almost seven times the speed of sound.

Yet there he was looking around at the grassland before him in shock, soon 'prison' took him away.

Six more Morgols charged through only to witness Nathan getting his chest pierced by Laren, while Kadai was already unsheathing his sheathed dual katanas.

They all knew what this meant an attack of a terrifying speed would soon be unleashed on them.

Morgols tightened grip on their katanas and from six different directions made dual slashes in an attempt to split Kadai along with Laren in multiple pieces.

The sharpened blood glint that followed their attacks would dazzle anyone's eyes.

Maybe nacreous clouds covered visibility for Morgols, but thanks to World AI it wasn't a problem for humans watching intently.

Billions of eyes concentrated on this scene. Six super Morgols were going all out, nobody thought Kadai could withstand it, but suddenly everyone's eyes opened wide with shock.

World AI tried its best to slow time down for them.

The moment Kadai unsheathed the torrent of blood that was coming along with sharp glint of katanas, and the extreme pressure were all blown upwards as if gravity reversed itself, every single Morgol felt like a bullet train hit them while they sprinted at it with full speed.

In that moment, blood in their bodies erupted, calming the impact giving them the power to resist, but the glim of Akai Tsuki along with accompanying Akai Tengoku covered their visions.

All six opened their eyes in frustration.

"We got played!"

"Indeed! Who knew that stubborn child assisted her master, that's not her style."

"We should be more assertive next time, remember spearheading for others lead to our deaths."

"You mean that sneaky fella, haha."

"look at the arena!!"

But they couldn't look up 'prison' overtook their vision.

Akai Tsuki and Akai Tengoku followed the perfect trajectory by slicing all six cleanly. Some from the chest area others by the neck or head.

Kadai was in the midst of finishing his swing when he felt danger. Since all six were cut through Kadai decided to jump up.

This decision was correct because a concentrated blood radiance that was ten centimeters wide zipped through along with a thrown katana that accumulated extreme speed and charged outside the arena.

Kadai somersaulted mid-air and landed perfectly in old samurai style, only to witness Gzo's wide grin.

"Tch, old man you sure can dodge, but I can't say the same for your precious disciple, look around there's only us, hehe."

Kadai indeed didn't feel the presence of Laren. To much blood accumulated in the air.

"Did you do what I think you did?"

"Yep. I diverted and sneaked upon your disciple, aren't I smart! I almost killed you too. You should have seen the look of disappointment on her face when my katana sliced hers in half along with her."

"You…. nice one!! Now run what are you waiting for!!"

"Oh, I am running! I don't need you to remind me, old fella! Hehe!"

Gzo began to rotate the sheathe at high speed than he threw it with all his might and followed its trajectory with all his might rising towards the hole in the fourth layer.

Gzo wasn't going to engage enraged Kadai It wouldn't be wise.

Kadai couldn't exactly see Gzo, but he could certainly feel his movement through blood in the air, of course, Morgols wouldn't be stained by that so-called blood due to their blood controlling abilities.

Even if Morgols dived into the blood as deep as an ocean, they still wouldn't get smeared in it.

Morgols probably wouldn't be able to run on water or stand on it, but doing the same on blood was possible.

"Blood As Universe" technique gave maximum control over blood not only on theirs but also on others, the limits of this body tempering technique if mastered and trained correctly were nonexistent.

The possessors Of the "Blood As Universe" technique could battle in countless ways because the technique was a perfect combat system containing thousands of skills and arts related to speed, defence, attack, so on, and so forth on everything and also it could be modified and developed in certain aspects that suited the person.

There was a reason why in the vast almost limitless universe other than Demine, no one managed to cultivate it. Demine himself didn't manage to pass it down, but Zagaroth managed, and Dominus quadrupled down on that creating more than a hundred thousand such individuals.

The evolution was a hard, tedious, and long process, Morgols, were just starting on this long journey, but if they managed to cultivate it properly, one could only imagine... the fear they would instill upon everyone.

For now, not even a fraction of their abilities were used because of the restrictions.

But for humans looking up at their battles, they all felt fascinated and shocked.

The technology was evolving at such a rapid speed that even all knowers couldn't keep up with all the changes. Yesterday it was f-99 super. Tomorrow it might be f-100 or something better. But they all knew what the outcome was when Morgols battled against technology.

There was once a show where one elite Morgol battled hundred F-90 supers. The speed limit at that time for f-90 super was 35 Mach, but that elite Morgol couldn't even run at Mach five. The outcome was all f-90 supers were annihilated in under twenty minutes, and the elite didn't even attack directly. He just created blood barriers to withstand enemy firepower and slowly locked on to the pilot's blood circulation while they were maneuvering mid-air taking over their lifeline.

Only, why would Morgols discard the technology as irrelevant for them when they could assimilate and use it for their advantage, but fusion with technology was not a theme of this battle.

Kadai spewed blood from his mouth and knelt down. Nacreous clouds were already gone soon; they would reach the polar lights. Battling in that environment would be of great pleasure, but unfortunately, due to certain people, he couldn't share it with his disciples.

Kadai felt his surroundings. Countless sounds were coming from above. He felt how blood formed torrent and slid down the holes towards the first layer accumulating there like a small sea.

Kadai dipped the katanas into the blood and began to absorb it. His eyes were beginning to go vertical while his facial features turned menacing filled with blood torrents, his hair bloody.

Just as he was about to unleash 'Blood Berserker' a sound reverberated in his mind.

"Uncle, Kadai you can't do that. Zagaroth can easily replenish the lost blood in your hearts, but if you go berserk and alter the blood and begin burning it, he won't be able to do anything."

"Remember for now we are broadening humanity's horizons and showing them certain breakable limits, we aren't battling hear to kill each other!!"

Kadai hearing this familiar voice hesitated but decided to comply.

"Dominus, it's just, I never felt luck shine on me so much! While all my clansmen are restricted, most of my abilities are unleashed through my katanas, so technically, I can use all my skills."

"I know, I know… they cant go berserk while you can according to rules, but do you want to damage yourself when we have to wage war on so many civilizations? Being an elite is mostly irrelevant since the wisest and strongest decides most things in the clan and if we go by that then there's I!"

"It's just a title I created, an elite member, a core member who cares!! Other than showing off and certain privileges it's useless! We Morgols are equal, we evolve together and move together. We are a true one big family! Now come off the arena, go to 'prison'!"

Kadai, hearing Dominus's words laughed, "indeed nephew, but I would like to be called Elite in the eyes of people! Just my childish desire! Alright, I'll follow your advice. I can still battle and win this, but it still wouldn't be easy."

Kadai stopped everything he was doing and elegantly jumped from the arena while sheathing his precious treasures.

Humans one moment saw Kadai preparing to unleash hell, and the next moment jumping off from the arena.

Leaving the arena meant forfeiting, so that's what he did, many couldn't understand why he did so though, but they're certainly were reasons for it.

Millions stood up and cheered for Kadai who gave them a magnificent show. Upon landing, Kadai was teleported and transported to 'Prison'.

For some reason, because he accepted Dominus's words certain feelings of release and calmness took root in his mind as if everything happened as it should have been and he felt like he lost the battle but won the war with himself. Roller coaster of emotions in a span of ten seconds would change his perception for the better.

Maybe 'prison' wouldn't be so grueling after all.

Morgols still had no idea that Kadai was gone. He made the decision too fast and out of nowhere.

Gzo was trying to ascend as fast as he could in fear of Kadai doing something crazy, battling others was easier on the way up than staying with someone who hasn't even gone full out yet with all the possible advantages.

The modified Polar lights illuminated the night sky of Mercury, making the battle of Morgols more dazzling. The arena slowed down. It meant that the battle would be decided in the polar area.

On the fortieth layer, fifty Morgols divided into the group of three were attacking each other with long-distance attacks using accumulated blood on their katanas.

One group had the most Morgols, twenty-seven of them.

The second group had twenty.

While the last group consisted of only three people.

A lady looking in her forties with a busty chest and mesmerizing curves with short hair and her twin brothers both extremely handsome with long white hair and flawless jawlines, with picture-perfect features along with the eyes blue like the ocean and statures that of a goliath stood like the tip of an arrow.

These three were mightily resisting their assailants while trying everything to stay alive.

The alliance between each group wasn't even verbal; anyone could attack others without notice, so no one trusted each other. That's why they were still hanging on.

The battle raged on for quite a while now, and everyone was using every drop of blood they had in their hearts without holding back.

Each slash was using a hundred liters of concentrated blood. If the arena weren't specially designed by World AI able to resist the impacts, it would have crumbled.

It was in this impasse Gzo revealed his head.

Gzo didn't care about Morgols battling in the lower arenas or what was going on up there because most of them were probably at the ultimate realms. But here he saw forty-seven targets—the place where the most fun would commence.

Gzo planted himself on the fortieth layer and pushed the blood off from his surroundings.

"Brothers and sisters! Who needs uncle Gzo's help in getting rid of these siblings! We should work together."

"Now.. stop fear-mongering amongst each other billions are watching we don't want to be embarrassed, right? So attack those stubborn foo… I mean friends with all your might!! I will guarantee I will dispatch the backstabbers myself so that you all can concentrate! Do we have a deal?!

"What about you then, what are we going to do about you after?"

"Oh, me! You guys can feel free to surround and attack me later I wouldn't mind at all! So do we get each other?!"

Every Morgol found Gzo's words reasonable everyone knew him as a reliable and trustworthy individual a man of his words. Only they had no idea what happened on the lower layers.

One of the twins was amused by Gzo's words and saw straight through him. This guy built up trust and brotherhood with youngsters. These youngsters didn't know until now how old core members were so they couldn't possibly know that there were wicked and deceitful among them Morgols!

"We are up for the show sister!"

Catalina chuckled, hearing her brother's message, "then we should play along and also be careful."

Gzo's eyes sparkled with excitement. He still waited for Kadai to come up!
