The siblings so everything Gzo did with his words, but they weren't flustered at all. On the contrary, excitement filled their hearts because the younglings were too constrained and wary of each other.
To these siblings, every single Morgol except Gzo was young, be their age twenty or fifty-five.
Sounds of terrifying battles reverberated from below and from above, but on the fortieth layer, Morgols were completely silent. Blood was flowing and accumulating more and more, even though most of it seeped towards the lower layers. Morgols were already standing thirty centimeters above the ground. That's how much blood was in the surroundings.
The humans watching from all over Mercury started to concentrate on the fortieth layer because bloody battles were truly attractive, but the tension and anticipation of the unknown stimulated the desires way more.
The first one to break this silence was surprisingly one of the twins Menas who threw away his sheaths, followed by Keras, who also did the same. The sheaths sank below and went with the blood flow. Morgols concentrated because the battle was about to erupt.
Menas laughed and roared, "prepare yourselves now we will show what true cooperation and seamless understanding represents."
All three siblings laughed and charged straight towards the Morgols.
The brothers began to wave their hands with terrifying speed spinning the katanas at Bizzare angles. The angles were completely unpredictable. What was even worse, both of them began to swap positions amongst each other from left to right in circular movements. At the center, their sister Catalina advanced beautifully covered by her brothers.
Seeing their actions, Gzo's eyes opened wide. He retreated slowly with measured steps towards the back while shouting, "don't let them accelerate, or none of us will survive, remember this layer of the arena isn't that big. We will be cramped together and eliminated.
Hearing Gzo's words, Morgols also charged towards the siblings releasing deadly attacks with their katanas. In an instant, the arena was filled with blood radiance.
Menas and Keras accelerated, even more, charging straight towards the most concentrated area of Morgols breaking torrents of blood and tens of different attacks along the way. Soon they reached their first opponent. Just when everyone thought brothers would attack, they pushed forward.
The Morgol that was at the forefront of the pack had a healthy complexion and bright features, but when he saw brothers avoiding him, his face paled slightly because he awaited an attack from either Menas or Keras. That's why he stilled himself and unleashed a direct stab that disregarded his life, but one of the brothers simply deflected. The next moment, sparks erupted. An extremely unpleasant scraping sound reverberated in the surroundings along with a disappearing youngster whose eyes were opened wide from shock.
Others at the front had no time to assess the situation because the twins charged in their midst, deflecting all their attacks and redirecting them either upwards or as far as they could from them.
The one who was truly attacking was Catalina. She had no defensive measures around her. Her brothers received all the devastating attacks with their massive frames and katanas that left after images with every swing. She was fully covered; because of the speed, the brothers changed positions. Seeing Catalina, who was also using marvelous footwork to perfectly synchronize with her brothers, became practically invisible.
The god of death was about to unleash hell on these youngsters, but Morgols were no slouches either. The moment the first six Morgols got killed by an invisible doom bringer. At the center, one of the Morgols got irritated and combined the katanas in his hands, unleashing a forward chop that released piercing blood radiance.
The attack grew in size, absorbing the blood in the vicinity crushing on the approaching siblings.
This attack completely disregarded friend or foe. Three Morgols were squashed into meat paste even before it reached the siblings.
Catalina was using both hands to wield one katana, but now a hand-formed fully from blood grew out of her body. It was formed from crystallized blood. This hand clutched onto the katana that was on her waist, unsheathed it moved it up above the trio, and began to spin. The crystalized hand began to release blood that instantly formed a vortex around them. This blood was delivered from the Catalinas spine.
Thousands of liters of blood were expended in a matter of seconds. One could only imagine the sight. But the attack unleashed by the tall, robust Morgol was ten times faster. The blood radiance and the vortex clashed.
The vortex, along with the crystalized hand, was instantly annihilated. The katana also got enveloped in blood, corroding instantly.
Brothers knew from the start that Catalina's hasty defense wouldn't hold up. Still, everything went according to plan. She brought them enough time to reach the crucial weak point of this attack. One of the brothers, Menas, continued to deflect areal attacks. At the same time, the other concentrated fifteen thousand liters of blood at the tip of his blade, unleashing it at the perfect moment destroying the connection point that the tall Morgol had created with absorbed blood scattering his mighty chop, blood fell like a heavy downpour.
This one point attack was so powerful that it pierced two upper layers and reached the fiftieth layer changing the flow of another battle unknowingly.
The tall Morgol was satisfied with this attack, and he was about to unleash two more when an enlarged katana pierced his heart from behind, "I said that I would cover your backs by eliminating the betrayers! See, I am upholding my end of the bargain! Whoever dares to disregard their teammate's life will die by my hands!" Gzo voice entered everyone's ears.
The Morgols were already dissatisfied with Kane's actions, but his attack almost succeeded. They all assumed this to be a just slightly more serious game, so no one attacked him. Only it seemed Gzo wasn't going to play this game casually. He upheld his promise.
Now Morgols felt better leaving their back to Gzo because they knew he would attack whoever broke the agreement. Instantly the pressure magnified on the siblings, but they didn't care.
Their speed increased with every instant. One of the Morgols suddenly saw an opportunity amidst chaos and pierced his leg towards Keras. This attack was perfect. Keras wouldn't be able to avoid it at all because he was blocking attacks that were coming from above and towards the center directed at Catalina. But from his peripheral vision, he saw something magnifying only for it to disappear.
Keras suddenly smiled and switched from the defense, slashing at two Morgols on the side, decapitating one and cutting the throat of another. Both Morgols disappeared from the arena without understanding what happened.
On Mena's side, someone tried to punch him in the face with blood that was coagulated and hardened hundreds of times over only to disappear even before his unavoidable attack landed. Menas also used this chance perfectly to Pierce, three Morgols that were in front of him.
Catalina chuckled and muttered to herself, "battle instincts are hard to develop and evolve. With thousands of battles, your body manages to form certain habits that just seep into your very being. Now they are going to face something very unpleasant, hehe."
Only the twins heard her words and laughed menacingly.
From the back, one of the Morgols that was keeping an eye on Gzo roared so that everyone could hear, "fools! You fools!!! the rules remember the rules!"
"Oh shit!" one of the Morgols that was about to land a spinning back kick straight at Menas tried to divert his attack, but it was too late. He disappeared from the arena because it would have certainly connected with Menas and probably killed him on the spot. It was simple. This back kick perfectly exploited the gap created by Menas's movements. The power that was put into it would deform Menas's head.
The rules were clear from the start, and everyone knew what was permitted and what was not. Only these siblings were some kind of freaks of nature. Their battle style, even when overwhelmed by tens of Morgols, was perfect. The twins purposefully left gaps in their defenses that could be exploited by legs, hands, shoulders, head, and all other body parts. Morgols could unleash attacks from any part of their bodies, 'Blood as Universe' technique gave this ability at blood overflows realm.
The entire body of the Morgols could be a potential weapon because they had as much control over their blood as humans had over their fingers. And it could be discharged from anywhere where blood flowed in the body, don't think that blood flow of the blood in Morgols bodies was the same as regular humans. The blood in the 'Blood as Universe' technique can be stored in bones, organs, skin, and even flow in them without affecting anything.
If someone killed a Morgol with a cut, they could be drowned in the blood. That's how much they could possibly store even without using the heart that had its own unfathomable space.
Now the Morgols were caught in a predicament. Instinctually because of the pressure from the mighty siblings, they unknowingly to themselves exploited the gaps that were no gaps, in reality, getting eliminated one by one. Six Morgols got eliminated because of their battle instincts and desire to win overtaking their senses. The siblings used this chance to slaughter the ones that couldn't understand what was happening.
The remaining ones became warier. They had no idea what to do. Killing the siblings with distant attacks if they scattered at various corners was impossible. They tried it already. At close quarters if they concentrated, it was even more impossible to kill them even though they also had great cooperation from the moment they entrusted their backs to Gzo.
The siblings didn't slow down because their opponents hesitated. They moved even faster arena began to crack from the pressure they exerted.
Now all three were attacking ferociously. Manes deflected another stab directed towards him and slashed at a beautiful browned skinned Morgol who looked flustered.
"Dodge Taris, what are you doing? Don't die so stupidly humanities watching! At least resist!" screamed a lanky middle-aged man who threw his katana with all his might at Manes while blocking Catalina's stab towards him. Unfortunately for him, Keras stabbed another Morgol and used his free hand to throw his katana.
In the last moment, Taris awoke from her stupor, and blood erupted from her katanas, forming a tight defense.
The thing was, when Morgols held the katanas, blood would flow from their hands. Hence, their hands always glowed in blood particles, and a spiral of blood always moved along their arms that would sometimes increase in volume sometimes decrease. That way, the blood was delivered faster on the katanas. For the ones watching all over the Mercury, it looked beautiful and fascinating. Morgols completely changed people's perception of blood.
Taris managed to resist Manes slash. Manes snorted. If not for rules, he would have kicked her in the stomach and killed her, but he couldn't fall for the trap he laid for others himself, so he retreated.
Siblings, even in all this chaos, didn't forget to interchange their positions and cover Catalina.
Gzo got more irritated the more he watched. "these siblings are monsters. where is that stupid Kadai he should have arrived already, tfui, did he die from anger overdose and got eliminated!"
Well, Gzo didn't quite hit the nail on the mark, but he did certainly guess that Kadai was out for reason not related to Morgols.
"It was time for him to come up since he's not here; it means he gone. Now I can make a move myself," Gzo looked at a certain person and said, "kiddo, stop looking at me. Don't you see these siblings are overpowered time for us to make a move? What say you!?"
Twenty meters ahead of Gzo stood a young man. He was at the ultimate stage of blood overflows realm. His gaze was like a gentle breeze bringing along peace and salvation to the ones watching, and the eyes that were golden like the sun, the rarest eye mutation possible to humans, gave a feeling of sacredness.
The talents of this youngster were so high that Zagaroth considered him the karmic accumulation of earth, the generational child of destiny. Dominus interacted with every human daily, so he knew firsthand just how blessed Ludwig, born in Germany, was.
This boy's IQ was staggeringly high 260. His EQ also up to par. His thinking, his vision, even his looks. Outer and inner constitution practically dazzling.
A talent that allowed him to reach the blood in overflows realm ultimate stage at the age of twenty-six while training in 'Blood as Universe' technique for only five years, of course, Dominus, in his magnanimity, gave his full attention to Ludwig and corrected his flaws that were invisible unless tested because of that Ludwig started training later than other talents and worthy individuals. Still, with Dominus going all out, even extracting certain resources from blood island that was not for anyone, Ludwig formed a foundation that equaled to elites.
Ludwig was also one of the few ones who interacted with Dominus in reality and not with memory transference because Dominus made conversations with Ludwig. His reality.
It doesn't sound much, but when a wielder of destiny 'prophet of all' spins his reality along with your life, you can have inference yourself about the meaning of such actions.
Ludwig suddenly smiled. His golden eyes erupted with brilliant light. He squatted and jumped up more than a hundred and fifty meters arena cracked benight his power. Unleashing his dual katanas and beginning to spin, Blood began to overflow from his body at extreme speed, coagulating into a terrifying ring and crushing with terrifying speed towards the siblings.
Gzo didn't dare to go back against his words when it came to Ludwig simply because if he didn't make a move now, Ludwig would attack him instead. Gzo took a deep breath, took a stance similar to Miyamoto Musashi's, griped his katana tightly with both his hands, and made a vertical leap towards the siblings.
Manes, Keras, and Catalina already managed to eliminate that lanky middle-aged man along with five More morgols, including Taris.
The battle was progressing extremely quickly. In just two minutes, it reached a critical point. The siblings were getting tired, and blood in their hearts were already emptied. Only their bodies and the surroundings had blood; unfortunately, if it were other beings, they could use this bloods for attack and defense, but all Morgols were adept at blood control.
Hundreds of people's blood were mixed amongst each other because blood also flowed from above arenas. Gaining control of this blood was impossible.
The siblings were truly ferocious. If twins managed to kill so many, what did Catalina do after the first kills? Of course, she added eight more seamlessly because of this chaos and blood that obstructed all the vision. When everyone's eyes were on the trio, no one except Gzo and Ludwig saw how Catalina managed to eliminate eight more. The pressure exerted was this high.
Now only twelve Morgols remained from forty-seven along with Gzo.
Ludwig was about to descend with a devastating attack while Gzo was going to pierce from below. The other Morgols also unleashed all they had onto the siblings.
The siblings were about to desperately resist when an almighty roar shook their eardrums.
A humongous pillar of blood smashed on Ludwig, who was about to descend onto the siblings pushing him downwards, crushing the fortieth layer, and going even further. No one knew if he was alive or not.
The attack came even before the roar. Everyone got flabbergasted because there wasn't only one pillar, but two. The other one was short, only five centimeters wide, but one of the twins was missing.
Gzo even received an internal injury when he halted his advance, but he was smiling with satisfaction.
"Who dared to attack I Zhu Changluo from below!! Courting death!"
These were the words that came with the roar.
