Chapter 3 - Fearless Morgols

Today Bermuda triangle is nothing more than a beautiful scenery full of great bridges that connect various islands and even continents to the Morgol continent, and it was always rumored that information about the Bermuda triangle was blown out of proportion. There were many controversies on this subject.

The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the devil's triangle, is a loosely-defined region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean, where a number of aircraft and ships are said to have disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Most reputable sources dismiss the idea that there is any mystery. The vicinity of the Bermuda Triangle is amongst the most heavily traveled shipping lanes in the world, with ships frequently crossing through it for ports in the Americas, Europe, and the Caribbean islands. Cruise ships and pleasure craft regularly sail through the region, and commercial and private aircraft routinely fly over it.

Popular culture has attributed various disappearances to the paranormal or activity by extraterrestrial beings. The government, journalists, people exaggerated many things. They wanted to make something out of nothing, so an immense amount of information was false spurious, inaccurately reported, or embellished by later authors.

Because of this, many believe in the Bermuda triangle's mysteriousness. Some belive it to be a regular occurrence, simply because many ships and planes travel through that place, so the number of lost ships or planes could be more significant than other sites.

Today nothing can disappear from Earth, let alone ships, so the Bermuda triangle became a tourist destination, but the Bermuda triangle was never a ruse. It was probably the scariest place on Earth.

The year 1618, June 15th, day time.

Stalwart man with pearly white teeth, golden hair, and black beard looking full of valor ran aboard beautiful ship towards the center, while swaying left and right rapidly.

Sounds full of screams, roars and curses were all over the place, heavy gunshots with lots of booming noises around made people almost deaf. "captain, we are chased by one first-rate ship with approximately 135 guns, 155 heavy cannons around 1000 man, five third rate ships with 74guns 60cannons around 400 man each, also several dozen frigates, why are you looking so calm! command the ship already!!" Alister couldn't help but let out a roar, looking at his older brother's nonchalant look. He was savoring tea with his wife, slowly at that.

Kristofer put the cup down graciously, wiped his lips with a napkin, and said to the woman sitting to his left, "Maria, do you remember why we called our ship 'Vikings legacy' can you tell me?"

"Maybe because you're as crazy as those people," Maria said with a laugh.

Kristofer rolled his eyes then, full of seriousness, answered: "of course, because I am reckless, fear nothing, and a little bit crazy, why would I bat an eye on this small British peasants.

Now it was time for Maria to roll her eyes. She looked at nervous Alister and said, "don't worry Alister, we were preparing for battle. A tea session is essential. One cannot kill the enemy with a thirsty throat. "You must be ready for everything. Who knows when we will get to drink anything, or how it can help us later?"

Hearing this, Alister took the whole pot and began to drink. He had no time to listen to their nonsense.

From the deck, a golden-haired, dazzlingly handsome young man ran while holding two muskets with two long swords on his waist, looking battle-ready prepared to slaughter. Still, when he saw Alister drinking tea from the pot, he quickly discarded both weapons taking the pot from him with force and drinking it himself as if his life depended on it.

Such a sweet tea politely taken from China was way better than what they drank usually.

Getting pot taken from him, Alister didn't get angry but couldn't help but think, "like a sister, like a brother. They are so alike. Ai ai ai; first, we attacked and stole the king's precious treasures, sank there three first-rate ships just out of necessity, killed several hundred man in the process. After that, we were attacked by a pirate fleet; those morons met their doom quite fast, only managing to wreck our equipment! Now such a big fleet has intercepted us. Doom is near, and idiots only think about drinking tea in the middle of a massive naval battle. Unfortunately, I to become an idiot in their hands," Alister had amusement written all over his face, "at least Kaspian won't disappoint me."

Kristofer stood up, put his hand on Mirian's shoulder, saying words of praise "good, good, good you made me proud, now take your position; we must fight till the end."

What was he proud of, he had little idea himself.

Kristofer began to quickly give commands to various units ordering to make their two ships follow them from a certain distance trying to find a way to escape.

They were already long past Caribbean seas and islands nearby. Now their only choice was to sail either for Portugal or breakthrough trying to reach America.

Both choices seemed unreal to many ships were attacking them from all sides, not to say their first-rate legendary ship was damaged, only 100heavy cannons were left with around 700 members. The other two boats were also first-rate, but in similar bad conditions, with about 400 men, they were lead by his father Vato and big brother Kaspian Morgol. Assisting Kaspian was Maria's father, Dorian, great commanders, and leaders.

Unfortunately for Kristofer, none of his orders were heard by either Vato or Kaspian. They turned their ships over sailing towards the galleon, trying to hit it from two sides in a pincer attack. Seeing this, Kristofer knew no matter the result, 'Vikings legacy' would have time to survive, but instead of choosing to run, he decided to do what a crazy but loyal man would do, not to leave them behind.

He gave the order to turn around and do the same since they wasted his efforts and didn't give a damn about his command. It was time to use the last card in their sleeve.

On the enemy ship, "Captain, these people are crazy they are turning their ships over, they want to ram us, what should we do?" asked the steward.

Admiral Nelson overlooked the situation with his deep calm eyes and commanded, "we will not retreat. All ships must quickly encircle and open fire. We have enough ammunition to blast 70% of their force before they reach and hit us. After that, we will overrun them with numbers in close combat."

"Didn't you guys hear the command, notify other ships immediately, execute the order," steward barked.

After three ships managed to turn around while fighting two frigates of off them, they began to sail towards the galleon, while at the same time entering the center of hell eye, those two frigates already took firing position's from left and right, five third rate ships stationed ready to attack at a moment's notice, while several frigates waiting at the rear, front, they also head the first-rate galleon prepared to meet them any time.

As soon as the trio of ships reached the center of encirclement, Admiral Nelson gave the command to open fire, hundreds of heavy cannon shells flew out instantly with a lot of gunshots following. From the other side, similarly, a fire was opened everything descended into chaos screams of many were heard from both sides, but mostly from Kristofer's side.

Too many shells connected at the same time, following the explosions, more than three hundred men died instantly, and three hundred more received severe injuries. But they survived the first impact!! Now was the time two-strike, Kristofer roared: "get ready to battle brothers and sisters!! We may have lost too many brothers just now, but it will lead us to our victory!! Propel us forward!! Suddenly barrels exploded at the back of three ships. At first site those barrels seemed just trait a peculiar decoration at the back of the ship, but in reality, they were ingeniously designed in a way that upon activation with massive force, the gas would explode and boost the ships speed, of course, it would heavily damage the ships rear, but speed gained was truly something phenomenal, instantly 'Viking legacy' reached galleon, followed by other two, that struck other third rate ships, ramming them and pulling them backward gaining a critical place to shoot at galleon from two sides. In contrast, 'Vikings legacy' would strike it head-on.

Seeing his great plan backfire, Admiral Nelson's eyes went wide from shock, not only his, but every member of his crew almost went insane.

"How is this possible!!"

"Noo!!"

"Oh, my god."

"Alissia, I'm coming."

"heheeehe, this is crazy."

"Do something, admiral."

"Save us, admiral, save us."

All kinds of screams, roars, curses, desperate voices were heard from every corner of the ship, but what could their admiral possibly do? He was powerless. The only thing that came out was the steward's last words, "prepare for impact."

*Boom*

The terrifying booming sound shook the sea 'Viking legacy' hit slightly on the rear, so the impact was more precarious for the galleon it almost turned over from the impact, countless people fell in the water. Still, before those who survived the crash could keep themselves together, cannons fired from two sides, blasting the ship from every direction, killing lucky admiral nelson, who managed to resist the impact previously, immediately.

While Kristofer turned the battle over and was going to give the command to engage other ships terrifying tropical cyclone began to form above them with impossible speed.

"What is happening," Maria looked up in shock, "how can it form so fast."

"Damn, we managed to pull something so crazy, and now this shit is happening. How unlucky can we get," Alister exclaimed?

"Tropical cyclone of this size could create hurricanes of certain death at this moment for us," Vato said and commanded, "prepare to link our ship with 'Vikings legacy' that is our only way to survive being separate will not help."

Kaspian also took the same decision.

Unfortunately, before they managed to do anything, a mist began to form from the sea, quickly expanding and covering fifty kilometers, visibility became zero.

Rainstorm descended, followed by booming noises. Everything was happening too fast.

People on ships soon felt gravity disappearing, beginning to hover slowly. Because of the mist, no one could see the forming of triangle-shaped clouds with a similar eye at the center, exactly like the tropical cyclones' eye above.

There were exactly as many triangle clouds as ships down below. This triangle cloud eye let out a burst of light that enveloped every ship, mixing it with the mist and gravity, pulling the boats and its crew into the vortex.

Everything got dragged into the vortex, but despite leaving the sea, no one felt anything or saw anything either, because of the mist that disrupted senses and vision.

"Uh, what is happening? Maria, Alister, Mirian, where are you?" Kristofer cleared his eyes and looked around.

"We are here, don't worry!" Maria's voice came from nearby.

Kristofer looked around to ascertain what was happening, that's when his eyes went wide from fear. They still were in the water, but their ships were gone, even wreckage disappeared. The only things around were people from his crew and enemies crew, with approximately 3000 people, out of which 700 was his man; also, they were still fighting, engaging in close combat, using every weapon possible.

It seemed for some unknown reason, Kristofer appeared ten seconds late. In just ten seconds, out of 2300 enemy men, his 700 man crew managed to slay 950 men. Not only did each one of them killed one, but some also managed to cut down two and more.

His wife, Maria that soothed his nerves with her words earlier, was choking and stabbing someone with her short knife. Her moves were natural and fast. Out of every person here, Maria raked in the most kills.

Morgols had a specific rule, no matter the circumstances, even if the sky collapses and the world breaks apart, as long as there's an enemy around you, you don't fucking let them see the end of it. Only ones who should stand last should be them.

The magnificent sight of worldly destruction should not be shared with the enemy. Such experience was too significant, so the moment they all appeared in this special place, while marines were panicking, Morgols just slaughtered every hostile near them. Kristofer was the only exception because he had more responsibility than the rest, but before he could scream for all of them to stop, a hand came and slapped him in the back of his head.

"Calm down, son, for some reason, you appeared a little late, and you seem more disoriented than we are." It was his father, Vato. He was holding that steward's head. It was not dripping with any blood, which was extremely weird.

Kristofer scratched his head and looked around:" father, it seems this is all an illusion. They probably had some substance, and we all inhaled it. We are on drugs."

Another strike came, but this time it was that stewards head," you bastard do you think this is an illusion? We are in a separate realm; maybe this is where all the ships disappear." Vato commented.

Kristofer caught the head and said," where's blood then? I don't see any blood."

"Son, the moment I decapitated him, I saw it instantly disappeared as if the man had no blood at all."

Kristofer's blood almost froze in his vein:" every single one of you, stop your actions, regroup immediately! This is an absolute order! Don't you see none of our injured men appeared here? We somehow lost even more people that were uninjured!" he roared, but this roar struck every person like a most massive drum, their ears began to ring from pain.

For some reason, his voice traveled into every person's brain directly, which caused some damage, but this time no one disobeyed. They all regrouped.

There was water below but walking on it was not a problem at all. Even running and jumping was more manageable than on the regular ground.

Out of 700man, 200 were women; they were all lead by Maria. In the world of pirates having a woman on the pirate ship was a bad omen. There were some exceptions, but not the likes of magnitude Morgols had.

They didn't give a damn about rules, omens, and so on. As long as they all were loyal, capable, and followed the motto of Morgols, embraced their beliefs, they were all excepted.

In this world, Morgols was the most famous pirates, their names shook the heavens, but in an instant, more than 2/3 was annihilated.

This brought grief on them all, so the result was the death of all marines around them. There was no mercy, compassion, or pity.

Water was bizarre, and the dead had no blood, clouds above were blood read, they were wriggling, taking different forms and shapes all scary and creepy, the sky itself was mixed with dark red. Sun? There was no sun, but light still was reflected somehow.

Kristofer, Alister, Maria, Mirian, Vato, Kaspian, Dorian, they all stood shoulder to shoulder, behind them Morgols assembled without any words in nit rows. They all had different expressions, but mostly, it was pity and grief for their fallen brothers and sisters. Some of them disappeared without any fight, wasn't that worse than those marines that died fighting. None of them felt any fear, but passing without fighting would be unworthy.

It was at this moment Kaspian said:" you all know that my vision is best in the world and that I can see farther than anyone of you and let me tell you, farther ahead my eye can see land, it's incredibly blurry, there is something, it looks dangerous, should we rush and risk it or… risk it, hehe."

They all laughed; Morgols would never retreat in the face of the unknown. They could run from marines, other pirates but never from the greatest mysteries of the Earth.

Dorian sighed:" point the direction, Kaspian. This old me can't understand how you can see so far, visibility in this place is quite good, to tell the truth, but I don't see any piece of land or where to go."

"It's ok, father, you're not old at all. I can't see anything either, it's Kaspian, that's exceptional," Maria laughed.

"Alright, let's rush, ready your remaining weapons," Kristofer said calmly. He had no time to think why his voice traveled to everyone, but answers would come eventually.

Unfortunately, before they could make a move, a weighty and sinister voice rumbled in their heads, "ssss, what are…. You allll trying to reach my dwelling place with so many puny creatures~! Unacceptable!!!! Only a certain number can get here, Come, COME heahahah.. rarghhhhh!" with the beings godly roar, water waves parted in two paths, road 20 kilometers in length opened for them.

This being voice was majestic yet sinister beyond understanding as if life was a miracle that could be extinguished at a moment's notice without leaving anything behind.

Every Morgol, the moment they heard the voice of this being, felt like the world overturned around them; life was meaningless as if creation was a myth that was in existence so that this being could trample on it.

Morgols, after a short stupor, laughed wildly, their legs were shaking, their beliefs were questioned, their existence came undershot. However, they still laughed, many knew that they would not survive today, maybe none of them would, but so what! "ahaahah, this is the day Morgols will die, but we will die fearlessly! Charge! This monster is nothing! all of us will reach that island."Kristofer roared and took the lead.

They all followed him, sprinting with all their might. When there is no fear, you see the miracle. The water that this mighty being parted enlarged thousands of times over, magnificent bloody lights converged and danced in and out of interlocking streams, Bizzare red creatures appeared from all sides. They looked grotesque and beautiful. Their bodies 3 meters long with specific black patterns. Their claws, mixed with silver, red and black, gave a beautiful glow of death. Their bodies were agile and strong.

These creatures would pose a significant threat even in 10-20, but their numbers were in tens of thousands.

Maria couldn't help but smile, "maybe my unborn son is destined to die today, such a pity he won't be able to see the beautiful and cruel world all in one." She unsheathed her saber and prepared to die fighting.

"Come you, fearless mortals. I waited countless years for those who could face certain death with valor and courage. This is the most benevolence I can show by restraining my nature, maybe some of you will survive dziaxaxaxaaxxa puny mortals." the creature laughed eerily.
