Chapter 5 - Unpredictable Outcome

"Finally," Maria reached the island while heavily breathing, her hair was disheveled, body fully drenched in sweat, she still looked somehow beautiful and captivating, with that visible curves from her torn clothes, they were eye-catching.

Surprisingly she had slight injures but nothing life-threatening. The only thing genuinely eye-catching was how dehydrated and shriveled her certain body parts were.

Some parts of her body were beautiful, while other parts entirely out of proportion. This created heavy contrast and caused much pain to Kristofer, which finally sighed in relief when he saw his pregnant wife reaching the island. That was all that mattered to him.

"Honey, please don't worry, stand here," he pointed at a certain hexagram that was shaped in bloody patterns and was revolving mysteriously, "it will heal every damage you received prior."

Not a single person in their right mind would stand on that thing at first glance, but the moment Kristofer reached the island, he was forcefully pulled towards it. Resistance was futile, so when he reluctantly stepped on the hexagram instead of pain, all his fatigue and injures disappeared in a matter of seconds.

Fully trusting his husband, Maria went for the hexagram, and just like it worked for Kristofer, all her injuries and fatigue disappeared within seconds. "this is a miracle, but who cares at this point." Maria lamented.

"hahaha, honey, please try to look through that fog with your eyes and tell me what you see."Kristofer pointed towards a certain direction that was completely covered with thick red fog that enveloped all the vegetation, trees, and so on completely. From time to time, certain gaps would appear within the fog giving visibility to those who wanted to see past it.

Maria followed her husband's hand direction with her eyes, and after intently looking, her entire body shuddered in fear. This trembling came from her soul and rocked her whole body, almost making her faint. Fortunately, she was still standing on a hexagram, so she was immediately healed, but the shock she received was apparent. She nervously looked at her husband and said:" you know when I said, who cares what happens next? I was mistaken... I am sorry, maybe this is an illusion?!"

"Holy shit, what is that, my god," it was at this moment another person reached the island. It was Mirian who almost died from fourteen straight hours of fighting but now seeing this thing almost made him faint, and losing consciousness in this situation for him would mean death. Hence, Kristofer immediately caught him and rushed him towards the hexagram. Maria jumped off and allowed Mirian to step on it.

"We should catch all those who reach here and toss them in this thing immediately to avoid any mishaps," Maria said.

"I agree, I hope at least fifty men get here, I sure hope for a miracle," Kristofer said with sadness.

If twenty reached these island, he would fill incredibly happy. Fifty would exceed all his expectations.

Mirian was healed in a matter of seconds, but he was still trying to look through the fog that once again obstructed all vision.

Soon more and more people began to appear first after Mirian was surprisingly Saitou, who before this had the least chances of surviving.

After him, were Kaspian, Dorian, Vato, Alister, Amon, Suta, Karol, and so on up to precisely a hundred men, out of which 32 were a woman.

They all were caught and lead towards the miraculous healing point.

Looking around, Vato heavily sighed:" every single one of us that reached up to this point is totally worthy of being called the greatest among man, I do believe that a hundred man that are here today are the luckiest and bravest, most capable people alive in this day and age. Even though we lost almost everything and are reduced to a hundred as long as we survive, that will be enough."

"Indeed, master Vato, maybe we lost our brothers and sisters today if there is an afterlife, all of them would be proud to be part of this magnificent clan." Said Sandra, who was the youngest woman in the clan. She was saved and taken care of by Maria and others who showed her love and taught her everything.

It seemed the teachings that were imparted on her made her tough enough mentally and physically to beat the impossible odds that were against them all.

"No one will fill any grudge just because every core member survived, and I don't fill any resentment towards you all." said Karol heavily," even though master Kristofer gave the command to divide, I think that was the only chance we had to reach this island alive. If my brother died today, at least he died fighting with hope."

One by one, Morgols expressed their thoughts; they were grief-stricken but not broken. The Dead will remain dead while the living has to struggle and try everything for survival because even though they remained united, this horrifying creature was still looming above their heads.

Just beyond the fog that parted from time to time. The moment all the Morgols that could reach the island reached it and healed, everything that was invisible became visible.

Forest appeared in their sight, at first they all thought that they were at the base of the island due to distorted vision, but on the contrary, they were at the highest point overlooking fifty meters tall trees that were bizarrely coiled amongst each other, tree barks were glaring bright red, every leaf even redder than blood, vibrant and full of vitality, ground that was covered in dark red vegetation made for a marvelous sight but beyond the forest and everything else the most astonishing view was one extremely tall mountain that was probably five thousand meters tall also completely pitch red imposing and impossible to shake, maybe Everest was taller, but this mountain gave the feeling that in front of it all living beings were not even worthy of being called ants.

On this mountain, the terrifying creature of colossal magnitudes was coiled around it. The creature was 3-4 thousand meters long, half of its body was merged with the island obscured by glaring red patterns, but what was visible gave the onlookers chill of their lives.

This creature was a mix with dark, red, and silver colors. It had sixteen visible claws, the head size of galleons with dark menacing eyes.

If the mountain itself gave the feeling of immeasurability, the creature that was coiled on it magnified that thousands of times over.

Previously because of the heavy red fog, visibility was almost null. Still, what was seen when it parted from time to time, Morgols didn't want to believe it or acknowledge that such a creature existed, and since they could only observe bits and pieces from here and there, they decided that it was an illusion or bad dream.

Unfortunately for them, this creature silently observed and studied all their expressions, words, exchange of emotions, so on with dark abysmal eyes extremely calmly without making any movement.

The dragon kind abomination or majestic entity looked extremely patient. It didn't interrupt Morgols, not even once, since they all assembled on the island until all the fog parted, and they saw him. Finally, it spoke.

"Probably you all are thinking that today is the day you die, but the reason I lead all of you here is pretty simple.." the creature's voice rumbled directly in their minds," I want certain something, and you all will give it to me."

The creature's tone was unquestionable and direct, but instead of asking what the being's request was, Mirian couldn't help but yell, "you.. you how can you transmit your voice directly into our minds. Why you even exist here, and what is this place, and how the f*ck no one has seen a creature like you ever, are you trapped? Why did you kill our clan members? You could have said what you wanted without killing anyone… so any way you can kill us all and f*ck off."

Mirian's rapid-fire rate talking caught everyone off guard, they knew that he was young and impulsive, but this was too much. Suddenly Dorian's hand zipped and struck him squarely in the head, "Oh magnificent creature, please pardon my son his outrageous behavior. I will teach him the proper lesson once we get home... I promise." Dorian said solemnly.

"Yes, we will educate him well." Maria pulled him by the ear without mercy.

"Ouch." Mirian screamed, "it hurts, it hurts, shit."

"Enough, you puny beings." Horrifying pressure descended on them that shook their souls and bodies. All the Morgols were forced to kneel, then lay prone on the ground.

This pressure continued to crush on them like the bloody mountain itself, cracking bones, tissues, and blood vessels in their body.

Blood began to flow in reverse and became disordered, which caused unimaginable pain to them.

Amidst this pain, Kaspian managed to stutter with some incomprehensible words, which others could not hear but the creature could it sounded like. "you bastar o.. a creat .. er y you think we feaaar pain and s suffering, yore f*ucking wong f*ck you and you request biatch."

Not only was Kaspian cursing this creature, but every Morgol also tried to express their hatred and fearlessness with everything they had. Be it by their gazes or mutterings, none of them begged for mercy, not a single one.

Someone from Morgols even mattered something like, "by reaching here, we have already proven our badassness to ourselves, and if the world knew nothing about it, who cared!"

Seeing these humans trying to put up the last-ditch effort, hearing their voices. The creature had no idea what to do.

They had no fear, no respect, mental pressure did affect them, but none of them seemed bothered by it too much.

Every single one truly and genuinely thought that by reaching this island, they had done the most they could, and resisting the inevitable was well futile. So the only thing they could do was play this creature until it got angry enough to kill them all faster with less pain.

As for the creature's request? After the being killed so many of their family members, indirectly, giving him something that was bullshit, none of the Morgols would agree to that.

The second this beast transmitted its words in their mind, they all knew by not giving the creature what it wanted would mean a certain victory for them, and death would be the consequence. They believed in the afterlife anyway no one feared.

The creature could feel every there thought through sensing their soul fluctuations, and soon it realized what kind of incorrect wording it had.

If it were any other people, he would kill, torture, or drain their blood and be done with it, but on them, he could not.

For countless years, even before Earth's creation, even before that, he was trapped in this place.

With countless eons passing, finally, a planet was formed. It took millions of years to develop, give life, then, for this life to evolve, then to develop an intelligent species, for them to evolve, and finally, some would appear at his Domain.

Stuck between nodes of the interlocking dimensions, after it managed to develop intelligence and spirit, this was the first time anyone remotely worthy of his attention appeared and gave him the chance to free himself. He wanted to Pass down the inheritance and fulfill his hidden goal along with it. No matter the irritation he had to endure.

He, unfortunately, could only pass down an inheritance to the human species, not humanoid, so those arriving aliens that weren't even remotely human couldn't get a thing.

He had to manipulate them so that they wouldn't destroy the planet and humans, just the amount of luck by humans appearing and evolving on this planet was immeasurable.

To also catch the best of said humans even more impossible luck.

Even though this creature was abysmally evil inherently, just the endurance and lvl of intellect shown was staggering. The desire to kill Morgols was so high that just now, the Morgols almost managed to provoke him until it managed to inflict the most minimal of damage possible.

Suddenly all the pressure disappeared from there bodies, and the injuries were healed by some bloody wisps that entered their bloodstream.

The creature disappeared mysteriously from the mountain and shrunk many times over to appear before the Morgols with only 20 meters long body.

It said as gently as it possibly could, "listen up, Morgols, that's what you call yourselves, everything I did was due to my deceased master's arrangement, I needed to test your limits, I used the least harmful trial I could possibly give to mortals even healed and assisted you all along the way, for me even if those marines killed you guys or just like you killed them didn't matter to me."

"I just needed someone to reach here, and I did everything possible in my power to do so!"

"You all have the greatest luck a man has ever received on this planet and beyond."

The creature's tone became even gentler. Of course, it still sounded heavy and oppressive but not as crushing," I only need one thing. I will attach myself to that unborn child, acknowledge it as my master. I will give him the full inheritance, share everything I know. I will impart specific techniques that will extend your lives, give you all unimaginable power, but in return, you all will remain on this island until his born!"

" I will even allow you all to bring the ones you want!"

"I only want freedom from this place, and the only way I can do it is by you all performing a certain ceremony so that the unborn child can attach to me, and I will attach to him. It's safe and painless."

listening to the words of this creature, and seeing him trying everything to seem polite and not to kill them was already a surprise for most. Still, the deal that was offered seemed a little unimaginably, so they all gestured towards Mirian.

He immediately understood their intentions and couldn't help but curse inside," you think us. To. be. Fools. Huh? Theirs exists such a great deal that gives infinite lifespan, power, my nephew gets to be your master, and it would mean we all will be your masters? Such a great deal, for.. what you said, freedom from this place, I don't believe it!"

"If you don't believe me, I will first flare your bodies, drain all the blood and eat you all alive and let us see then how tough you all are to chew!" the creature roared.

The roar was so ear-piercing that it burst all their year drums.

Seeing this creature couldn't help but calm down and heal them again.

"Think more, death, or everything else! I can wait another million years! not a problem, but you guys won't live past this."

All the Morgols got in a circle, ignoring the creature which didn't mind, but the disrespect annoyed him a tiny bit.

After discussing for who knows how long, even the creature became irritated and roared," so tell me what is your decision." Never in its life, has it felt so powerless. Being a prisoner was not enough from birth. Now, even its life depended on beings that were countless times weaker than him, and he had to accommodate, endure, and be enslaved to the unborn. Fate was a cruel thing.

Finally, Mirian jumped from the group and loudly said:" we don't care. You can kill us and go f*ck yourself!"

Hearing this, all the scales on the creature's body rattled like crazy. The world began to turn pitch red. It didn't care anymore and crazily barked, "you all die!!"

But before it could make any moves, Mirian said, struggling under breath but smiling, "it was a joke! We agree but under certain conditions."

Hearing those four words, the creature almost lost millions of years worth of lifespan in an instant "WHATTTT did YOUUUUU say jussttttt now you fu.. fu.. f*cking little shittttt!!!" all the heavenly phenomena disappeared just as fast as they came.

Creatures spiking power deflated faster than the balloon.
