Chapter 53 - LIBRARY

The library was a building next to the colosseum. When the two housemates walked in, Lexine was left in awe. The number of books in the library could seriously compete with the library back home and easily pass it by a milestone. The whole building had a very distinct scent that only books had mixed in with the scent of ink. The library had four floors, with the first floor connecting to the other floors by a spiral staircase that winded up in the middle of the room. In addition to the floor-length windows, a large skylight roof gave the library enough light for reading during the day. The reading space was enclosed in the middle of the room and had the bookshelves around it, with the spiraling staircase in the middle of the reading area.
