Christana was very excited to join Eirene Academy with her brother. She could not help but keep on opening the Walking Wardrobe and sticking her head inside the black depths of the wardrobe over and over. It was a great honor for anyone to join the Academy after all.
For her parents, it was only good that their daughter would be able to go to the Academy where she would be safe. With the murders that had been taking place in their tribe, the safest place for both their children would, of course, be the Academy.
Christana did not know any of this. She was busy trying on the different clothes she could pull out of the wardrobe. Some of the clothes were too scandalous for her to even wear outside the house. Her mother, however, did not comment anything negative whenever her daughter came to show her the different clothes she had worn.
