Ghost floated towards Shidaluku extending a hand "Come now, your talented and you may even surpass me in the future. Join us, I can teach you, help you, plus I know you hate me so I propose this. Once you are strong enough, feel free to take my life just like I did with my teacher but don't expect it to be done without a fight." They said giving Shidaluku a wink "If you feel rebellious I can give you contacts about an internal resistance group when you beat me. In case you are wondering, yes I am trying to recruit you."
With that Ghost turned their attention to River and the rest "You hero's are special yes but your not enough, even in other worlds there have been no hero who has ever won. I myself have seen this thrice, the first being the world I was from." Ghost said as they turned to look at Shidaluku "Although if you still wish to fight then so be it." With that they went back to Betty's side. "Choose"
"Apologies but I will have to decline your offer, after no matter how faint I choose Hope." Shidaluku responded as she prepared her blades, her front two legs raised as to present their sytch like properties. With that she lunged towards the duo who immediately responded, Ghost went ahead to intercept Shidaluku as they grew another pair of arms. With a slash a Sytch appeared in her hands, it was comprised of a pinkish metal and was serrated along the bladed tip.
Nimbus was the first to react as she lunged at Betty her blades in a position where it allows her to either defend or attack. River would act on impulse as he sent mana through his blades, mana that would have the basic of fire magic. Shadow charged headlong towards Betty as well, his body turning slightly grey as he used [Shadow Step]his body now cannot be hit.
River fed his blade with mana and as it reached a certain point, flames erupted out of the blade. Warm to his touch but harmful to anyone else's, River charged in along with Grusk. The twins on the other hand would let loose their arrows towards Betty with precision.
"Hmm, cute but too slow, too weak." Betty spoke as her mouth opened revealing a line of razor sharp teeth in a twisted smile. Shadow was ignored and got a hit in, a hit that virtually did nothing. It was a sharp and decently durable blade but it simply was too weak to harm Betty, everyone's attack was taken by Betty who was completely unfazed. She swung her sytch towards Nimbus aiming to take her out first, assumably the most troublesome of the bunch.
Meanwhile Ghost and Shidaluku was a blur of after images, shower of sparks and the sound of blades clashing over and over. A delicate dance of blades and abilities used in rapid succession, a single mistake was all it took for the fate of the battle to be decided. A dance of blades and a shower of sparks and magic rained down on River and his friends. Nimbus defended against the strike yet that blow sent her flying backwards, crashing into the shelves. Betty followed up with a circular strike, turning to make a single wide slash that surrounded her in a circle.
