"Hmm, your good but weak, you cannot beat me child and no one can save you, not in time at least. Oh, I nearly forgot!" Betty said as she held out her hand, a small circle with a pink outline formed, although one could not see what was inside. She reached in and pulled out the bodies of Star and Sora, both bloodied and possessed fatal injuries.
Betty tossed the bodies towards River and the rest as she smiled "I must say, the human was pretty feisty put up a good fight as did the demi-dragon. Although the demi was much weaker than expected." Betty commented as she lets the group stare at the bodies of their friends. Star had a hole through the top of her head, lacking a wing and had a large slash across her front.
Sora's head only remained attached to the body through some strands of muscles, otherwise it would be fully served off. Sora had numerous cut wounds all over her body as well. As River stared at his sisters corpse in despair, in fear, in sadness Betty would only laugh.
Shidaluku was too busy to help as she was busy trying to survive, to find an opening, exploit it and kill her opponent. "My oh my, your fear, despair is so sweet! More! Give me more of that wonderful feeling!" Betty yelled out a maniacal look in her eyes, by far this was the most expressive she had been in a good while.
River lets out a loud yell as he charged Betty pouring as much mana as possible into the blade he wields. It was the element he was the most proficient in according to his knowledge. Time, he needed to buy time for help to arrive and break the barrier set up by Betty.
Betty swung her blade at River casually not expecting much until their blades collided. Rivers blade exploded into shard of metal and a powerful blade of wind that soared towards a surprised Betty. She moved to dodge but the attack caught her by suprise as it cuts into her cheek, drawing pink blood that dribbled down her cheek. Regardless the strike from Betty would hit River drawing a gash across his chest sending him stumbling backwards.
Grusk would strike from behind with his battle axe at a still startled Betty who was busy looking at the pink blood on her hands after touching her cheek. She lets out an inhuman screech as the strike hits her cutting into her shoulder, it seemed that she was not as durable as Ghost. Although the wound inflicted by Grusk was rather shallow and only drew some blood.
