River woke up to the light shining into his eyes, he could tell it was day from the brightness even though his eyes were closed. He yawned and got up, squinting his eyes at the intensity of the light as he got off the bed. River's eyes took a bit before it adapted to the light as he made a mental note to close the curtains the next time he sleeps. River got up and walked over to the board to check out the schedule, after a bit he took it down. He rolled it up and kept it with him for convenience as it was hard to keep track of everything.
Looking to check the time it was only 7:05 in the morning as there was still plenty of time left. River decided to go to the bathroom to freshen up before he got out changing into his regular set of clothes. He looked through the closet to see what clothes he was provided with. There were a few nightwear, a few shirts and pants with different designs along with a couple towels. There was also empty space in case there were to be any new additions to the wardrobe.
By far all of the provided clothing were unisex clothing which made sense since the kingdom knew nothing about the gender of the potential heros. With that River closed the wardrobe and made his way out looking around the hallway to see who else was awake. By far it seemed as if they were already eating or had just woken up since it was still empty.
Walking over to Star's bedroom River knocked on the door as he waited for a
response. He could guess that she was still asleep like the couch potato she was and sighed after hearing no response for a while. He opened the door and went in and as expected she was still asleep curled up even with the bright morning light in her face.
He shook her shoulder "Wake up Star" River chided to her but all he got was a soft groan.
"It's too early" she mumbled as she remained on the bed, River sighed shaking his head.
"We are in the castle now you know if you keep this up you will miss breakfast, not to mention the training." he told her, all of a sudden she got up in a flash filled with energy.
"Ri-right! I can't miss breakfast, especially with the training. Thanks for waking me!" she said as she got up to head to the toilet as it seemed that she was not used to the schedule yet. All River could do was shake his head slightly at her antics and got up.
"Well I will be going first, better not be late otherwise I can't help you" River warned Star as he left. Although Star could not respond as she was rushing not wanting to miss out on a meal.
