Narrator's POV
In a tall and long corridor, echoes with steps were heard as Y/N was getting dragged by 4 guards from both sides. The girl tried to get away from their grips, but it was no use, the men were stronger than her by 10 times! "Where are you taking me?!" Y/N yelled out a question, still somehow trying to get away from them. "That's none of your business" one of the guards answered with a quite raspy voice that made Y/N to startle a little.
Shortly, they have reached a tall and plain red door, and one of the guards went to open it, whereas other three continued to hold the girl tightly. Y/N had a bad feeling about this all, so she resisted to walk any further. She tried to get off from their grips once more, but as expected...it was no use.
The guards pushed the girl in to the room and locked the door behind her, leaving her there alone. Y/N ran up to the door and began to slam it. "Let me out!" She yelled out, however, as expected, they didn't open the door for her. Y/N heard their steps fading more and more away, until the whole space got thrown into a dead silence. Y/N gave up and kicked the door in anger once then leaned against it, defeated.
"What am I going to do now..." she thought as she felt frustrated and upset, "all because of this stupid ring" she added as she glanced at the jewellery wrapped around her ring finger, shining beautifully as always.
She wanted to take it off right away, literally to rip it off from her finger. She grabbed the ring and began to pull it out, but the ring didn't leave an inch away, as if it was glued to her finger. Y/N felt frustrated and gave up once more.
A few minutes passed as the girl stayed in the same position, rethought of what she got herself into, until she finally decided to get up and observe the room.
The room was way different compared to the ones she's been into. The walls were plain purple, with the matching purple ceilings that were made of almost glass. The floor was covered in red wool as it well matched with the bed covered in red bedsheets, also went well with the sofa that was covered in red wool as well. The room likewise had a small red desk with a purple Vivian chair, and a tall mirror with plain purple frame around it. The room looked kind of cosy, and quite not in a luxury style, though, wasn't in a cheap way as well...more of in the middle.
The girl walked closer to the mirror in slow motion, then carefully looked at herself, still wearing the same big dress but with a bit less neatly made hair. The girl took off all the hair bands and clips off from her hair, leaving her lovely locks down. She picked one of the hairbands and tightened her hair up, "That's much better..." the girl thought as she began to look around again.
Y/N, kind of desperately, looked for any windows around for an escape. She managed to find only one rectangle shaped window that was located on the top of the wall. Since the room was too tall already, the window was most likely impossible to reach, unless there'd be a tall ladder to climb up with. "Just great..." the girl thought again as she went to grab a seat and sighed in frustration.
Suddenly someone unlocked the door. The girl quickly turned to face the door and saw a guy in a familiar royal suit. The guy went in and slammed the door behind him. "Well well, we finally met again" he spoke with a quite mannered yet devilish tone.
"Hoseok..." the girl murmured, "please get me out of this place" she added as her voice raised a little, made it more clear for the guy to hear her.
"And what makes you think I'd do that?" He said with a playful pout, "You're captured for a reason, your majesty"
"Please…stop calling me that" the girl said as she felt uncomfortable, "I'm not the queen you think I am" she sighed but shortly continued, "I am just a victim who got trapped by this ring, and-"
"I know" Hoseok interrupted.
"You do?" Y/N smiled but was still confused. "Why you keep calling me majesty then, if you know that I'm not the queen?" She asked as she slightly raised her left eyebrow.
Hoseok chuckled as if Y/N has just told him a joke, but she didn't, and his laugher made the girl to feel uneasy again. "Because you're still considered as the queen in this world, it doesn't matter whether you're a victim or not" he spoke between his laughers.
"No, I need to get out of here, this is not my world-" the girl said but got interrupted by the vampire again.
"You're not going anywhere" he said with a cheeky smirk, "not until we get what we want" then he looked down at the ring for a moment, then back at Y/N's disbelieved face.
The girl felt a little anxious and felt as if she swallowed her tongue. Hoseok's kind of bold replies made the girl unsure whether to speak any further, since the biggest need she wanted got rejected by this man. She felt it would be pointless to try to persuade Hoseok to help her. Hoseok in this world was the vampire, the enemy of the queen, and he only saw the poor girl as the queen...his enemy.
"Anyways, my brother is going to be here soon and deal with you" Hoseok said as his smirk vanished and formed into a serious face, "and while we wait for his arrive, I'm going to have to stay with you, so you won't do anything stupid" he added, then grabbed the nearest seat.
"What are you, a security?" The dissatisfied girl asked sarcastically.
Hoseok smile returned, "What's with that tone, your majesty?" He asked as he leaned back on the sofa and crossed his legs.
Y/N huffed and turned away to not see Hoseok's face, in annoyance. This move made the guy to snicker a little. The girl said nothing but quietly sighed and took a seat as well, on her bed.
The silence, then, carried on for about a minute, until Y/N broke it, "Hoseok" she called the vampire's name.
Hoseok just silently glanced at the girl and waited for her to say her thing. "Please...let me free" she said quietly, even though she knew he won't do a thing, she was eager for an escape of this place.
Hoseok said nothing, yet a small smile formed on his face. He looked away and continued the silence, but Y/N didn't let that happen. "Hoseok, I don't want to be here" she spoke again, louder this time.
However, Hoseok still remained silent.
"Fine, be that way then" Y/N felt defeated and felt annoyed. Hoseok still remained silent, completely ignored the last thing that Y/N has said. He shortly shut his eyes, taking a small rest in the comfy sofa.
Y/N sat in the same place for one whole minute, until a realisation hit her. Before she was separated from Jungkook, he gave her the key for the ring. The girl hid it in her sleeve of her dress, so she checked under her sleeve, tried her best to not make it visible for Hoseok to see, and there it was! The key!
The way Y/N felt relieved, almost screamed of joy but stayed quiet so the vampire on the sofa won't find it suspicious and take the key away.
Y/N mentally thanked Jungkook for literally gifting this key for her, but then another part of her felt unsure about it. The key didn't seem to make any definite effects on the ring back in the laboratory, and instead it made the ring to behave uncontrollably. However, no matter what, the girl knew that this thing was the only way to get her out of this nightmare.
The girl carefully took the key out of her sleeve as she glanced back and forward to make sure Hoseok was still "napping", but suddenly the door opened, and another vampire walked in. Y/N immediately hid the key back in her sleeve as she cursed mentally, "Dang it"
"Thanks, Hobi, for keeping an eye on her" the vampire said with a kind of deep and slightly genteel voice, yet, at the same time it sounded devilish too...
