❛❛The fruit from a tree of a witch and the God of the sky, will come to the Hogwarts after their has time finally come as they will then claim their title. They will build a wall of protection of their own that not only protect themselves but the others too, from what chaos may the other side might bring❜❜ Tessa glanced at them and continued to read to prophecy written on a scroll that seemed to had aged ❛❛Anxiousness is what they carry around and truth is what they search for. They must find their own path and start the journey to create and leave history; to either lead peace or cause chaos.❜❜ finishing it, the blonde lady rolled the scroll close and kept it inside an odd but high seemingly artsy see-through bottle.
The headmistress, Malia Jhonson, sighed and nodded her head ❛❛very well then, now that we've heard the prophecy. Shall we proceed to the young Lady?❜❜
Now that their gazes were fixed on her, she felt terribly uncomfortable ❛M-me?❜❜ Evie stuttered as she felt herself tremble in both nervousness and fear; fear, which she got from two of the people inside the room, giving her a nasty dirty look.
After she was excused from her friends by the beautiful ginger head professor, she was directly lead to the infamous office behind the big statue of a griffin which required a password before being able to actually enter the room. Even with her getting all exhausted from both climbing the stairs and catching up with the redhead, she still got to hear the password that was spoken by professor Wallis; it was either popsicles or pop nickles— it was quite confusing as the professor said it too quickly.
She was greeted warmly the moment she went inside by most of the teachers present at the room along with too students who she assumes to be just around her age. And Evie being clueless about what's going around was in complete confusion as she listened to their conversation that seemed to concern her, with her sitting between the same blonde guy from the hufflepuff table, Noah and a redhead girl who was called as Ella who Evie assumes to be the daughter of the lady who brought her in this room.
❛❛That's total nonsense! She doesn't even have a single clue what's going on!❜❜ scowled the guy with black hair in his black cloak, professor Argon.
The pale lady with flaming red hair raised a furious brow at the mad man ❛❛It's how it's supposed to be, were you even listening?❜❜ asked the lady eyes starting to glow bloody red due to annoyance.
Professor Argon and Professor Brisbin had been arguing for the past few weeks due to some accusations the man has for the vampire who studies magical creatures and plants.
❛❛I'm on his side.❜❜ claimed the blonde girl, professor Baker
❛❛Sophie!❜❜ gasped every professor present except for Argon and Fox.
The said blonde Slytherin girl raised her hands up, surrendering ❛❛Only joking, shesh.❜❜
she was only trying to break the serious tension, seeing as professor Brisbin and Argon are gonna bite each other's head off any moment.
❛❛How can she be the OLYMPIAN WITCH if she herself doesn't have any clue— and to add up, she also came from a muggle school before coming here!❜❜ argued the brunette girl, professor Fox.
❛❛What did I ever do yo deserve such punishment❜❜ mumbled the head mistress under her breath.
And here they are again, back to their arguing session of total silliness. The blonde headmistress couldn't help but gave in, she sighed and buried her face to her palms as the teachers in front of her continued with their argument, completely forgetting about the three students that's also inside this room.
Meanwhile the students sat there at the side on their on chairs, watching the scene fold. Evie felt quite bad for the headmistress but couldn't also help buy be anxious and nervous.
What are they talking about, seriously? First the sorting; getting all chummy and weird with its word and now this. What would come next? Her family confessing something weird to her? And what on the name of Merlin to they mean by pointing a hand at her and telling her she'll fulfil a prophecy soon and claim the title of being the OLYMPIAN WITCH? What is that even?
Are they perhaps on drugs? Are they mental— wait, aren't Olympians children of the gods and goddesses? What rubbish are they up to— but then again, nothing really is impossible here. This is the realm of wizarding world not the old muggle place she was used with.
Evie hesitantly turned to Noah and tugged her uniform ❛❛Are they certain? If I'm really an Olympian, who's my— wait they mentioned Zeus, could he possibly be my father❜❜ she asked in a rush, eyes fixed on the blonde guy.
Noah pursed his lips into a thin line, glancing at the redhead beside Evie who was raising a brow, indicating him to answer ❛❛Maybe, who knows?❜❜ he shrugged, looking at the commotion in front of them then shifting his gaze to the specific glowing thing hanging around the black haired girl's neck ❛❛But seems like it to me.❜❜ he smiled.
What? Evie's far more confused right now than she was fifteen minutes ago.
Noticing where his eyes were fixed, she held her necklace and hid it in her hands ❛❛W-what do you mean?❜❜
❛❛Oh, right. I remember professor Netting mentioning something being left by one of the beloved family member for guidance and protection❜❜ joined, Ella as she then asked Evie to show her necklace which she hesitantly did ❛❛Perhaps that's what they left. I'm only guessing though❜❜ she smiled at her.
Evie frowned. This necklace was the only thing left by her real mother but for what she knows this necklace is only capable of glowing, sparking, giving warmth and comfort. If it is actually so, how will this necklace guide and protect her?
They said everyone knows about this, especially the people from the ministry— has her adopted family been lying about her life status the whole time? Why is this occurring her...
❛❛SILENCE!❜❜ shouted headmistress Johnson out of annoyance, slamming her hands down to her wooden table causing everyone to flinch at the sudden voice and thud being heard. ❛❛May I remind you, you are already adults— nearly seniors! Yet you argue like five year old children❜❜ she walked in front of her table and leaned into it, hands massaging her temples
Argon tusked ❛❛Blame this shameless vampire, she started it❜❜ he claimed, crossing his legs like a prince he is.
The vampire, professor Brisbin rolled her eyes in annoyance ❛❛Excuse you, but you were the one who doubted the prophecy. I just wanna remind you, you seem to suddenly have amnesia❜❜ she fired back with both professor Wallis and Netting gripping on her cloak, trying to hold her back.
Vegard sighed ❛❛That's enough you two, there are students with us.❜❜ he reminded them but seemed like the long-time enemies didn't budge
❛❛No, don't touch me❜❜ He told professor Gorman, pushing his hands away as he was about to pull him away ❛❛I didn't doubt it—❜❜
❛❛Thought you wouldn't take back your words❜❜ interrupted professor Brisbin.
While the older ones argued, the students patiently waited for them to stop, the two students Evie was in between her was enjoying what they were seeing, sly smiles plastered on their faces while Evie herself was half scared and focused with their 'conversation'.
Ella crossed her arms across her chest ❛❛How exciting.❜❜ she chuckled.
Noah shrugged his head playfully ❛❛I'll never have enough with this❜❜
Argon clenched his hands, shut his eyes close, breathed in and out and pursed his lips for a moment before giving her his infamous pissed smile ❛❛What I was saying was that how can she be so clueless about it? She's supposed to know—❜❜
❛❛Enough is enough the both of you!❜❜ interrupted the headmistress, pushing the two back to their seats and heaving a sigh ❛❛Anna's correct, it's supposed to be that way.❜❜ with that being said, professor Brisbin gave the mad man a look ; "i told you so."
Evie raised a brow, anticipating to what's next is gonna be said by the headmistress.
The headmistress heaved a sigh ❛❛She's fated to not know since she and the another child was obliviated before being left by that one family member.❜❜
Her eyes widen ❛❛I'm sorry, what?❜❜
