Right after the headmistress said that Evie was fated to lose her memory of her original family, arguments started to rise again.
Evie felt herself woozy while she continued to listen to their meeting— no— it's rather bickering. Thank Merlin, Ella came up and reminded them about going back to their own common rooms to rest as they did came from quite of a long trip.
The three students quickly walked themselves, directly leaving the room right after they got the permission to do so and bid their goodbyes.
Ella shook her head with dismay ❛❛To think that they'd actually clear some of the stuff for you❜❜ right, they said that they called her out to lessen the confusion ❛❛but instead, they made the glass even more blurry❜❜
Evie chuckled awkwardly ❛❛Er.. I got a few things❜❜ she scratched her nape, by few, she meant only two or four stuff from listening to their so-called meeting that lasted for more than ten minutes.

The redhead griffindoor farrowed a brow and elbowed the blonde hufflepuff ❛❛Quit it will you? You're scaring her❜❜ grumbled the lady.
The blonde guy pouted his lips and retreated his arm, apologizing afterwards to the younger girl which was only responded with a small awkward smile by the said girl

The griffindoor rolled her eyes playfully at how enthusiastic her friend is ❛❛Take our words, it is after all the reason why we were there with you❜❜ Noah nodded his head in agreement ❛❛We'll be your helping hand— just like a friend.❜❜

Unlike before Evie came to headmistress's office, the hallways was somehow not so quite as they're little voices echoed around the spacious hallway. The others must've already started to head off to thier assigned commonrooms, with the house prefects showing them the way while talking some house and school stuff like rules and such.
Griffindoors, Evie thought to herself as she watched a a group of students walk up to what obviously look like moving stairs. They're griffindoors right? They're wearing red neckties though. A smile made its way to her face when she caught a glimpse of Ivan and Sebastian who she exchanged greetings with her with a small wave of the hand and a smile.
As they continued to walk around the place, their conversation continued on as they made their way towards their desired location inside the big castle. They soon came to a halt after both Noah and Ella noticed the the group griffindoors following a girl who continued with her this and thats.
Ella turned to them and smiled ❛❛Well, that's that. I'll get ahead of you two now❜❜
❛❛Have a goodnight, Ella❜❜ Evie bid her goodbye
❛❛Likewise, both of you❜❜ Waving her hand, the redhead griffindoor ran towards her fellow griffindoors who were already getting inside the common room.
Noah smirked ❛❛Careful, clutz, you might trip❜❜ he shouted.
Hearing the blonde guy loud and clear, she turned her heels around and stuck her tongue out before heading inside the griffindoor commonroon and her being the last, the door closed as the portrait of the fat lady was back to the wall covering the entrance.
Both of the hufflepuffs laughed at the the redhead's choice of action to respond to Noah's words.

Evie nodded her head and contiued to walk down the stairs, following the blonde tall guy.
❛❛If I'm remembering it right, we belong to the same house right?❜❜ he glanced at her for a moment before turning his eyes back to where he was going.
❛❛Er... ❜❜ she trailed off. Right, he was the same guy who talked and sat beside me earlier, Evie thought to herself.
Confused, he stopped his tracks and faced the younger with a look of disappointment and confusion ❛❛Am I wrong?❜❜ he farrowed his brows ❛❛But I was sure— my ability to remember is getting cranky, I really am getting old am I?❜❜
She chuckled at his words and shook her head ❛❛No, you remember it right. Sorry for confusing you❜❜ she frowned,

Noah shook his head playfully ❛❛You'll definitely go along with the others❜❜ with that, they proceeded to make their way down the castle's basement ❛❛You made me think twice of walking together with you for a moment❜❜ he laughed
Evie's brows farrowed in confusion and curiosity ❛❛Sorry?❜❜
❛❛Don't get me wrong but— Let's just say that I'm quite of a lazy hedgehog to face those long walks up those stairs❜❜

Stairs had always been tiresome, haven't they?
Noah glanced at her ❛❛Is that so?❜❜ the black haired girl hummed as a response ❛❛That's probably the reason why we're both hufflepuffs then❜❜ he laughed.

Their laughter left small echoes of thier soft voices as they made their way pass the kitchen located at the basement of the castle. If we were to be specific, in a nook on the right-hand side of the kitchen corridor, the entrance to the common room for the warm badgers was located just behind a few stacks of barells.
Standing behind him, Evie waited for the blonde hufflepuff to mutter the password for the entrance to be open but only heard a few taps. Her brows farrowed in confusion for the nth time of the day.
The hufflepuff commonroom doesn't have a password? Or was she really not paying attention— no, she had all ears anticipating for the password to be let out. Perhaps it's something else..... right?
A smile of satisfaction came to the blonde guy, turning around to face the younger with and expectation of her looking amazed of what he had show her but was met with a confused look, brows raised.
You dumb ass, he realized ❛❛Oh right, my bad❜❜ he laughed awkwardly, scratching the nape of his neck ❛❛Unlike the other houses, the huffepuff commonroom only requires students to tap the barrel two from the bottom, middle of the second row, entrance will open if tapped in the rhythm of 'Helga Hufflepuff'❜❜ he instructed.
She titled her head a bit to the side ❛❛So no password then?❜❜

As they got closer to the entrance, the sound of people chattering, laughing, and bickering was heard. Everyone must've gotten here not more than five minutes before they did.
With the stack of barrels away from blocking the way, there reaveled, a sloping, earthy passage inside the barrel travels upwards a little way until a cosy, round, low-ceilinged room is revealed, reminiscent of a badger's sett. They sure did took their house mascot, badger, too serious don't you think so? The room was decorated in the cheerful, bee-like colours of yellow and black, emphasised by the use of highly polished, honey-coloured wood for the tables and the round doors which lead to the boys' and girls' dormitories (furnished with comfortable wooden bedsteads, all covered in patchwork quilts).
The young transferee was in awe as she hopped inside the commonroom designated for her too.
A colourful profusion of plants and flowers seem to relish the atmosphere of the Hufflepuff common room: various cactii stand on wooden circular shelves (curved to fit the walls), many of them waving and dancing at passers-by, while copper-bottomed plant holders dangling amid the ceiling cause tendrils of ferns and ivies to brush your hair as you pass under them. Not did the place only look and feel cozy but it also felt like it was the kind of nature that she belonged to.
Most of the students seem to be still hanging out in the commonroom instead of actually being in their dormitories already despite darkness taking over, the gloomy glowing moon coming up to replace the bright sun's position.
Noah couldn't help but giggle at the sight of the transferee being in awe as her eyes continued to wonder around the cozy yellow and black bagder like sett. But knowing how tired Evie must be, he guided her towards the dormitory for girls then to her shared bedroom with another hufflepuff girl.
❛❛You're stuff is already placed by your bed, so there's nothing much to worry.❜❜ he informed, passing a spare key of the room to her ❛❛And unlike most of us, you'll only be sharing your room with a single person since it was only the two of you that came❜❜

After bidding goodbye with Noah, Evie closed the door the behind her as she proceeded inside. Exhaustion taking a hold of her body, she decided to only exchange smiles with the one and only Malia who seemed to be accompanied quite well with a book, we better not disturb her then.
Evie went ahead to get herself ready for nap.
Within a matter of fifteen minutes, Evie came out from the bathroom located inside and practically at a corner of the dormitory, already dressed in her white printed shirt and strawberry printed fluffy-like pajamas.
Looking at her stuff, she pursed her
lips into a thin line, I'll take care of that tomorrow— I feel too exhausted and woozy right now, she thought to herself.
A yawn escaped her mouth after setting herself down to her own bed and tugging the blanket on top of her. The room was completely cozy and was even more relaxing because of what seemed to smell like cinnamons, roses, and rain...
It's not even raining, Millons of starts are probably displayed to the dark and calm night sky.
Why are these scents so familiar? It was like as if it was triggering something in her head, perhaps a memory. It made herself feel like a defenseless little child
