Both of them stare at me like I asked something I'm not supposed to ask. And then I realize I did. So I walk towards the counter to order something for me. I take my hamburger and head back to them. They are still talking. I like the way they are communicating through eyes too. And I'm sure Elora can already read her mind.
Crap! Her mind. If she goes through that she'll know everything. Everything about my dad, her dad and aunt. Even about her uncle who wanted to kill her mother and her.
I clear my throat. "How about we all spend a good time together hanging around. We can watch movies or go to the amusement park if you want."
"But I still have a lot to talk about, Edmund", Elora frowns.
"Ye-ah. You can. B-ut she is not going anywhere anymore so yes you have a lot of time means your whole life to talk about." I hope she listens to me.
