It's been two weeks since I last met her. She didn't answer my calls or messages. These last two weeks have been the whirlwind of emotions, all of them low. Finding her was inevitable I realized that. I went to her apartment last week to check on her. But Ava said Elora moved on from here last week. I wonder why? Is it because I had an assumption about her? Or is it because she doesn't want people to know about her? I even called Charlie and he said not to worry about her. She keeps disappearing and its not a new thing. I searched for some keywords in google. It matched with her actions.

Is she scared of what she is? Probably she doesn't want people to see her the way she is. I don't know what she thinks of her. But I need to find her.
I reach her apartment and wait for Ava to open up the door.
"Oh it's you again. I told you dude she's not here. Trust me on this. I don't even know where she is now", Ava says, tying her hair up.
I look around for something that could lead me to her. "Can I check Elora's room? I just need to make sure whether she left anything behind".
"Yeah sure", Ava says. "Would you like to drink something by the way?"
"No thanks".
I head towards Elora's room. It looks so.. empty. I open her cupboard. I see some torn pages there. Maybe some receipts. I try to attach those together.
Yeah receipts.
Some for dresses. Mostly for books.
Wow.
She likes to read too.
I notice something familiar. Something in common.
She reads mostly book of Collen Hoover.
I like Collen Hoover's book. A lot.
I search her drawers and see some dry sunflowers . I pull out the drawer and find a piece of paper. Twisted. I open it. Something's written there.
It seems like an address to me.
I go downstairs to Ava.
"Did she ever tell you about this place?" I ask her, showing the piece of paper.
She takes the paper. "It seems like a forest area to me. Let me remember". She closes her eyes and opens after a while. "Oh yes! She once told me that she has some kinda mansion like house there. Her high school is far from here so she lives in the city. But she keeps changing her high school always I wonder why"
"I know why. But I need to make sure of that. I need to know whether I'm actually right or wrong". I glance at Ava. "Thanks Ava. I'll go now".
I jump through the stairs skipping two steps at once. I need to get to her fast before she runs away again. I get into the car and set my destination on the map.
It's been an hour now. I'm stuck in this stupid traffic. I hate this. I feel like to scream. I feel like to scream till my throat goes hoarse. I take out my phone and look up for the place in map.
I'm close.
Yet not too close.
I stare outside. I see a small girl, selling sunflowers. I call out for her. I buy 5 stems from her. I'm sure she's gonna like it. No wonder she kept those sunflowers in her drawer even after they got dry.
I start the engine and focus on my destination.
I reach her some kinda mansion like house which looks like a mansion literally. I just realized something.
She is so rich!
I search for a bell ring but there's nothing around. Should I knock or press the doorbell? Without having any second thought, I proceed with knocking with bare hands. Just after a single knock someone opened the door. Its so dark inside so I can't really see anything. Someone's standing behind the door. I can see shoes. Definitely not hers. I get inside and look behind the door.
It's a man.
He locked the door. "Welcome, young man. I have been waiting for you". His voice literally echoed. That startled me. I don't know what to say. He was waiting for me? Does he even know me? Does Elora know I will be here?
Weird man.
Well all answers to my questions are here.
I stand in front of the man. "I came here for Elora. Where is she?"
"Yeah I know why you came here for. Elora is upstairs", he says, lighting up his cigarette.
I go up and knock at her door. Elora opens it. She looks surprised. At the same time worried too.
"Why are you here? Have you gone mad or something?" She asks, pulling me inside.
She's supposed to hug and smile at me. Or probably say I knew you would come. She's unpredictable. I wish I could read minds too.
"If coming for you makes me crazy then yes I'm crazy". I hold her hands and pull her close to me. I wrap my arms around her. I can feel her breath on my neck. She bury her face into my neck, searching for my warmth.
I feel good. I'm not thinking about anything but her. She's the only thing I had in my mind for the last three weeks. From the time I first saw her. Missing her is a physical aching that grips me early in the morning and does not leave me.
"How did you find me?" She asks, glancing up at me.
"I'm a detective I forgot to tell you". I wink.
She laughs.
"You should go now. My uncle will.."
"Oh! That was your uncle? He's kinda weird. You know like he's not the normaliest kind of people", I say.
"Is that even a word?" She frowns.
"Yeah maybe? Non-existent word." I laugh.
She nods. " What did you say to him?"
"He talked first. He said I was waiting for you". I mimic her uncle's accent. "Is he some kind of future seer or something? Told you he's weird".
The smile on her face suddenly fades away. She's not smiling anymore rather she looks worried about something. I know she's not reading my mind anymore as she's not looking into my eyes. Also she promised not to do so. I hold up her chin and place a soft kiss on her forehead.
"I know what you are", I smile.
"And you're not scared?" She looks tensed. She makes a noise that might have indicated fear or disgust, it is hard to tell.
"That doesn't matter. What matters more is I don't have the strength to stay away from you anymore". This time I look into her eyes. "Don't worry. I'll never leave you".
She hugs me tightly. "Then don't", she whispers.
