Don't uh me I retorted in my mind, while looking at the clueless expression painted across her face.
"Well you haven't told me how you're going to repay me, how am I going to get paid for my assistance?"
Her face was now in distress it was as if she had forgotten what paying someone was like. Higiro's girlfriend didn't seem so interested in our conversation she left as the discussion started. I glimpsed over at her by the bar with another girl. Higiro was just sitting in the middle of my discussion yet not even one did her speak.
"You aren't a human aren't you?" I asked while narrowing my eyes.
"Who knows, Mr. Sin Of Greed."she shrugged her shoulders trying to act smart. Higiro was confused so he just dropped his head onto the desk before raising his hand to get assistance from the person taking orders.
I have changed quite a bit since I've gotten this sin, normally I would just go along with life and do whatever is set before me, but now I feel like I have a purpose.
"Huh?"
"Don't mind that just me mumbling to myself. Now back on topic, firstly you haven't told me what you wanted to help with nor have we decided on my compensation." I spoke suggestively with my face in my hand that was elbowed to the table.
"So what do you want me to help with?" I asked staring at her with no expression of interest.
"The details of that can only be discussed after you accepted my request for help, as for pay you can have me as your contracted servant."
"N A N I!!!..."

In such a contract the one in debt to the other becomes the contracted servant of the other." she spoke brazenly without even a change in expression she was dead serious about this.
But on the other hand a contracted servant that would be weird wouldn't it. And I can't tell which race she's from she has no divinity or rather she hid it. But still a contracted servant just looking at her, I begin the daydream or should I say night dream...
"Aye my lord, I recommend you to accept her contract."
A voice was suddenly in my head, I was shocked until I realized the way of speech.
"Vernicent is that you?" I responded by thinking which was technically telepathy.
"Aye my lord have you for gotten about me?"
"No uhmm why do you suggest I accept her contract?"
"Hello!" Ria interrupted my conversation with Vernicent while staring at me with an angry pouting expression.

"Am sorry was just lost in thought, oh and for the deal I'll accept it for now, so what's the deal with the thing you want my help with."
"It's to find the Key to the great tree. First let's start with my identity Am Rainier the goddess of deception and seduction. Now am more like a deity for I've lost most of my divinity because along with my title as goddess, I was guardian of the roots. Which is basically the entrance to the great tree." she froze after speaking then looked into my eyes, she seemed timid for a second, but then she began to speak.
"A goddess who hath lost her divinity or divine protection can't return to her former glory, we normally lose it after child bearing, but I lost mine after saving a demon's life." Her way of speech got gloomy as she spoke about the demon she helped.
It turns out the demon was hurt and weak and seemed to had just escaped a war, he had ill intentions and vanished with the key to the great tree not so long after she got friendly with him.
At first, I was concerned about why a goddess would want to make a contract with me but after hearing her story I felt pity. After a rather lengthy discussion we had dinner and drinks at the bar and parted was not so long after when the bar was still in full swing.

I parted ways with the others after setting a time and place for our next meet on which we decided to do the master servant contract, and I was alone on the road heading home.
"Aye my lord."
"What's up vernicent?"
"You don't look so well requesting permission to materialize."
"Yeah what ever."
