Chapter 6 - 5

that morning, Roxanne got ready for hell as usual, her mother unlocked her door "come on brat, come eat breakfast" "im not hungry..." Roxanne said with a pissed expression, she glared deep into her mothers hazel eyes, her soul burned with anger and distrust, her mother was the one thing she hated the most. Folk tale's say "a mother love is the strongest love" yet she never saw love in her, only greed and stupidity, she chuckled "whats so funny" "nothing...nothing at all" she smirked before heading out the door.

As you could imagine, Roxanne was of course meddled with, the boys would whistle and the girls would gossip and glare at her, she rolled her eyes with a blank expression, her eyes didn't have that shine and glimmer like the sweetest of children. She trudged to the lunch room to grab the usual eggs, sausage and bacon, she tried her best not to look at anyone but there was always her bully "hey bitch, how's ya been do'in" said a country boy with hair like fire and baby blue eyes, it was too bad that such a cute guy was a huge dick head "not much Tommy, just minding my Damn business" she snarled, Tommy winked at her, it burned her core "ya been do'in that guy again, fuck'in whore" "i would say the same to you but seeing that your still a virgin i rather not"

she chuckled as his face turned as red as his hair, his eyes narrowed as his fellow country men chuckled at her comment, he glared at them, shutting them up all at once "i dont preciate that kind'a language miss" "does it look like i care" she said as she shoved past him to eat her breakfast, he then waltzed over and took her tray, she sighed and then pulled out a pop tart "are't ya go'in do some'thin" he snarled, she ignored him and took a bite from her pop tart "no, i pity your stupidity and your lack of intimidation, something tells me that you need my food more than i do" Tommy now pissed threw the tray the wall behind her, she was still eating her pop tart in peace "come on do something, cant you tell im trying to make you cry" he roared, Roxanne swallowed her piece of pop tart then placed the pastry in front of her before standing up to face him "Tommy lets face it, the only thing scary about you is the fact that you dont have a brain, you couldn't even scare a rabbit even if you tried, no matter how big you are and no matter how many friends you have, they know how weak you really are, your pathetic, useless even, nothing but a old cigarette butt, so expensive but so easy to dispose" she stopped and sat back  down to finish her pop tart while watching Tommy look at her surprised, his friends chuckled, their fearless leader was just told off by the runt of the school, Tommy growled before walking away from her with his friends "what a women"said one of his friends "you can say that again, sexy and full of spunk" Tommy glared at them "shut the hell up" "oh you got feelings for the girl, she's gonna be a hard one to reel in if you know what i mean"

Roxanne could care less what they said, she knew how Tommy could be. "dumbass" she sighed before drinking her bottle of water.

HOUSE

Roxanne was in her room as her siblings played in the small fenced in back yard, her step father and mother were in the kitchen cleaning and cooking dinner, Roxanne locked herself in her room to watch Netflix, she gabbed a vial so she could collect her tears for Thomas "ROXANNE, GET OUT HERE!!" Roxanne growled but got up ot see what her mother wanted "we're moving tomorrow so pack your shit, we aint living in this shit hole no more" "what ever you say mother" she growled before slamming her bedroom door, she began packing but she knew she had to tell Thomas "fuck" she muttered, she grabbed a backpack and began to pack all of the vials of tears she had so she may give them to Thomas.

it was pitch black when Roxanne ran out of the house, with the back pack grasped tightly and determination with her, she ran to the gas station where Thomas was working "Thomas we need to talk" she said "why whats wrong" "outside, please" Thomas looked at Tabby who nodded her head, the two went outside to his car "what is it Roxanne?" "well my mom says im moving and i wont be able to come back and see you" "where are you going?" "to a place called spokeland" "that is a long way from here" "that's why i wanted to give you these" Roxanne handed the grown man her backpack, he opened to see many bottles of her tears "since i wont comeback for a long time i wanted to give you these, so you can see Maria" her eyes looked away from him, he placed his hand on her head "do you want to see her before you leave" "yeah that would be nice" the man smiled before taking her to the cemetery to say her last good byes until she returned "i will miss you so much, please come back soon" "i will i promise just make sure this one doesnt die before i get a car" "he's only 35" "but you never know" "yeah i know" the ghost and Thomas hugged her close to them, she was like their daughter that they never had "i will come back i swear i will" she said holding back tears.

moving day

Roxanne helped place her things in the moving truck then hopped inside the mini van with her other siblings "hey Michael" she asked her older brother "yeah Roxy?" "im gonna miss it here, will you?" "yeah i guess i will" "do you miss dad at all" "no, he was scary and mean" "do you like mom" "yeah she is really nice" 'liar' she thought to herself, the time came when the family had to leave to this new place called Spokeland, as she was taken away she waved good bye to Maria as she past the cemetery, she waved good bye with tears streaming down her hollow face with Thomas by her side, they prayed that their precious 'daughter' would return to them
