As carmen laid down waiting for Lucas to come back. As the door, open wide Lucas went into the room. His phone rings Carmen's old manager.
"I have been calling Carmen for a job offering and she has not been answering my call. So I guess that she was with you." the woman on the sounding mad and trying to sound calm.
"look I will pass the phone to Carmen," said Lucas.
"Hello," said Carmen her soft voice trying to sound calm.
"Carmen Mr. Kang has asked me to find a model for the lee makeup company for today and all the models that I have booked for other events. So you were the only one that I can count on." her voice sounding panic.
"I will go but give me an hour to get myself ready and send some over." Siad carmen.
"Thank god I will send William Song. She will pick you up and drop you off at the event. Are you in trouble with your brother?" sounding more rifle
"I am fine and my brother as well." said carmen
"Then see you in a bit." said her manger
"Alright bye-bye." Carmen then hung up and gave Lucas his phone. She sat up as her right leg dangled off the bed. She hugged her left leg.
"Carmen I will sign your release papers," said Lucas as he left the room. Carmen is still sitting the same way. As she waited for Lucas to return and the door opened as a nurse came in to check the nurse removed her IV. Lucas had come back with a brown bag. Carmen grabbed the bag out of Lucas's hand.
"Can you leave." said carmen to Lucas but he turned around looking at the wall.
"So I thought you have retired but your working once more," said Lucas
"Lucas doesn't judge me but I don't want to earn my money as a Martinez." carmen said as she put on a short white flowing dress as placed a sky blue ribbon on her waistline. pulled out a hair ribbon as she braids her hair from the right and to the left to have them meet at the in the middle which she tied with the blue sky hair ribbon. Pulled out black flats
"Fine I won't say anything but what about my parents. You are the soccer to the Martinez because of your mother." Said, Lucas
"I choose this life and like my mother chose her's." said carmen
"Your mother was a prodigy as a ballet dancer. She was chosen from different schools from around the world but she met your father in a broadway show in new york. They both fell in love. Grandpapa never wanted your mother to marry him but she one day ran away to be with him. She never returned not even when her father passed. Her body came back but she was no longer with us. You did come back until a year later after her death." said Lucas
"You telling me the story about my mother again. You may be my stepbrother but remember your place, Lucas." Said carmen
"Forgive me but I do not want to see you end up the same way your mother did," said Lucas
"I get it your just looking out for me." carmen got near Lucas as she placed her hand on his shoulder. "I am not a little kid. I heard that you made business with the Kang family but you should be careful with Willam Song he is the grandson of the golden dragon. Shall we go." said carmen
"Then I will take you to your apartment. So his grandson works for the Kang," said Lucas. He opened the door for carmen.
"Yes please do. No, and yes he is good friends with Kang Hyo Min. He works so he can one day take over the family business." said carmen as they got on the elevator. As she presses the button to the first floor. She stood up straight and faced forward. As the elevator came to a stop. She walked toward the parked cars and Lucas followed behind. As she stepped into the car. She looked out the window as they drove to her apartment. As the car park right in front of her building she got off the car. Heading into the building. Lucas watched as she went in which signaling his driver to drive. He rested his head on the door. As he looked at his phone. He looked at pictures of a girl with blond hair and a white flowing dress. With a flower crown on top of her head. He stared until the phone turned off. Which brought him back to reality.
"Sir the Miss has entered the building. Where should we head to." Said the driver.
"Mr. Song Carmen's former manager called she wanted to know if you can pick carmen up. To the event that Miss. Lee is making today." Said a lady.
"Yeah sure," he said as he got up from his chair. As he left he grabbed his car keys. He headed to towards the elevator of the company. As he got there the elevator had just arrived and pressed the first-floor button. He got off and headed to his black BMW. as he started his car he drove. As the light to go had turned red he began to remember the day he first met Carmen. The way her cold expression seem to had devoured her completely. Her modeling expressions gave in alluring aurora which had him enchanted and mesmerized by the way she looked. As the light turn green, he drove off. He later introduced Carmen to Kang but that was his first regret. He fell in love with the way she was and there was Kang who plays with her to have beauty by his side. As he arrived at the apartment he pulled out his phone and called Carmen.
"Hey, Carmen I just arrived," he said as he looked up where her apartment window was.
