Epilogue
I tend to sit in my car when suddenly two stiff hands dragged me roughly and pinned me to the car.
Oww
"What on earth-"
It was him again. He stared at my eyes furiously as if to dig into them. If stares could kill, I would have been dead right now. He unpinned my hands and took hold of my left hand harshly. I was taken aback as he placed my phone on it.
"Here," folding his arms around his chest afterward
huh?
This was not what I had expected. I had an uneasy feeling about this.
"Come on!" He scoffed after I showed no movement.
Blankly staring at him
"What was I even thinking? how could I expect something from such a ruthless girl like you!"
And like that, he called me ruthless too.
"For a brief moment I thought of you as a sensible girl, but I guess I was wrong. You didn't even pay attention to what I said but all you cared about was that freaking phone of yours! You just don't care what people go through but you JUST.NEED.YOUR.PHONE!...Because that's what matters after all, Right!"
He ran his hand over his hair.
It was as if my body had forgotten how to move...
so I was the criminal now?

CHAPTER 01
AZALEA
Butterflies roamed around the garden, full of roses. Birds chirping, and enough wind whirling to blow my hair bit by bit. It was all just so perfect. Then, he comes. I can sense him getting off his horse and walking toward me at a slow pace. I straightened my gown and fixed the tiara on my head, choosing to be a shy girl my gaze was fixed on my own. His steps came to a halt when he was close enough to take hold of my hands and he did. I bit my lower lip in excitement and tend to open my eyes in order to see him. but I unbolt my eyes only to see the ceiling of my room.
And again I couldn't see his face. It's been decades since I am wanting to see my prince charming. Why does it have to be this annoying phone alarm every time? I grabbed my phone and shut this stupid thing.
The last time I woke up late and missed my classes, dad had scolded me for hours. And it was a pretty long lecture that included my responsibilities and the realization of how old I am.
twenty it is
He had warned me he wouldn't spare me the next time.
So I take all my thoughts with me to my bathroom. After a long warm shower, I finally drag myself out. I head towards my wardrobe and try to pick something good for today as today's a special day.

"I am leaving because I want to taste the life out there. I want to see what it holds for me. And I wouldn't be able to do that unless I am independent in everything."
Mia's words still stank. Mom and dad didn't force her too much and I was definitely not okay with it because I knew if dad didn't give her permission she would never have left us but it was hard for dad to say no to her late brother's only daughter.
Mia was six and I was three years old when she first arrived. We have a three-year gap between us, which we never consider. It's been almost two years since she left. But, it still frustrates me when I don't find her here. In the end, she wins and I lose.
