"First of all we're in a problematic situation."
I start to explain parts of what happened from when they first entered the city to where we are now.
"And here we are. I should mention that we both have abilities. Ava's ability as you already know is some type of shield, it even protected her from a high building making her levitate for about 5 or 6 seconds. My Ability might be a little gross if that was the right word to describe."
"You can tell me. Considering what I went through this should be fine."
"Then I guess it's fine to tell you. When I drink blood my eyesight heightens and my stamina restores faster than normal."
"Aren't you basically part vampire?"
"I guess you can say that. That would be pretty cool."
"By the way where is your friend Ava?" Isra says.
"What?" I said,
I looked behind to notice that Ava wasn't there.
"Not Again."
"You don't seem panicked?" Isra said.
"Well this isn't the first time it happened."
"Are you sure we shouldn't be looking for her?"
"I'm doing that right now. Levin is finding her through the blood scent and I'm just looking through this dark hallway with my eyesight."
"Doesn't that just make you eyes look farther?"
"There's a reason why I used the word heightened. Heightened meaning is more intense than normal. I'm basically making my eyesight better than normal although it stings but I'm used to it now."
"Master I found your friend. It seems to me she's stuck in a room and there was something with her but it's dead now."
"Something must've pulled her in the room. Let's go."
Isra followed me as I ran towards the room where Ava is. Making it to the room the door was completely shut. I shouted out hoping that Ava would hear me.
"Ava are you okay!?"
From the other side I could hear Ava clearly.
"Yeah I'm okay. There's no need to yell, I can hear you clearly. It really smells in here."
"Can you break the door open?"
"I can but I can't tell where the door is because of how messy the room became."
"Just follow my voice and kick where my voice is."
"I found the door you should probably stand behind." Ava said.
Isra stood beside the door and I stood back from the door / My back was already on the other side of the wall since the hallway wasn't wide enough. Noticing that I'm not far enough I tried to tell Ava.
"Ava wait a se-"
Ava kicked the door open then made it fly towards me. I didn't have enough to say my whole sentence with how close the door was when it flew to me.
With how dangerously close it was somehow my eyes or my whole body felt like it became faster or everything else was slowing down. Barely having enough time I jumped to the side, falling on my front. I stood back up.
"I can breath again!" Ava yelled with excitement.
I stood back up as if nothing had happened. I looked at Isra to see she was shocked at how fast the door flew and how it went flying.
I looked towards Ava who's very clean despite the smell that came out of the room. I covered up my nose with my clothes. Isra does the same thing still shocked at the same time looking as if she is about to puke.
"Ava what happened?" I asked, wondering.
"Well while you were trying to explain to Isra I was just there walking behind you two. Then I heard a clicking sound of an animal in one of the rooms. I was about to tell you two to hold on but everything went completely dark."
*A Few Minutes Ago*
I knew I was inside something getting dragged in the room so I just immediately sliced open whatever was covering me with my knives and came out. The door was closed shut by whatever it was. I heard the clicking sound right above me.
I had a gut feeling that if I didn't kill it I would be dead. So I sended one of my knives flying towards it. I definitely stabbed it because it fell spraying out acid everywhere.
Turns out I was in a web cocoon and what I killed was an acidic spider. The acid coming out of it was sizzling away in the room. The door was unaffected since It was covered in it's own web.
Good thing I was able to use my ability unconsciously or else I would've melted like some of the surroundings.
(Back to Present)
"I can see that since your clothes are spotless despite the acid going everywhere. I'm surprised that you could bear the smell."
"Oh right I forgot to tell you I think I found a way for us to get out of the city." Ava says.
"What really?! Where!?"
"It's in here just cover your noise since the acid gives off a bad smell."
"Well you're right about that." Isra said.
We went in with Isra as the last one coming into the room. The whole room smelled of rotten eggs. I immediately knew that this isn't an ordinary smell.
"Isra don't come in here!"
"What happened?!"
"You'll die if you come in here. The whole place is filled with sulfide Acid. One touch and you're dead. Remember your not wearing any shoes. Just stay out of the room and keep watch. Here is my rifle."
I took off the rifle from my bag and tossed it over to Isra. She caught it.
"I'm fine being on watch but tell me what you found I'm curious. While you're doing that I'll be giving this rifle a better name."
"It's been maintained well enough. Be careful with it even though it's not fragile. It used to be a friend of mine's weapon."
"No worries my body already knows how to use this."
I turned around and went ahead towards Ava.
