So as we were finishing up pour meal and just waiting on the check Marcus got a text message which upon reading it his mood quickly saddened. This in turn made me sad but before I could take his paw to try and comfort him the others had noticed his change in mood.
"Marcus what is it?" asked James as he looked across the table at his brother with a very concerned look on his face.
"I just received a message from my friend and he wants us all to meet him at my place." replied Marcus with a sigh.
"I thought you hadn't asked him yet?" confusingly asked Joy.
"I didn't. I think this may be work related seeing as he wasn't flirty with the message and that it was very upfront and direct." confessed Marcus as he looked away.
"But what is there that could possibly involve all of us except that mater at the grocery store with the gun, but your supervisors had already looked into that and cleared the matter I thought?" asked James as he too was confused.
