"Are you stupid or something?" snapped Ray as he and the Riot Control Unit escorted me back into the police station, "You are the head of the CSI team and the only one capable of seeing this thing though!"
"Anyone can do my job and you know that." I replied as I pulled out my phone to make a call only for Mia to come racing over to me and hugging me causing me to wince in pain before adding, "Besides Damien needed me and I wasn't going to wait around and watch him get beat."
"And I would expect you to just next time wait for the riot team and wear some riot gear." sighed Ray as he signaled for Jill to come look at my wounds since we can't get paramedics anywhere near the station.
"Also Mya just called they're both safe. Officer Snow is tying to cheer Damien up and she's on her guard in case she has to break up a cat fight." replied Mia with a smile as she let go of me.
