I try to discreetly search the desk for the ring while we put things away. I don't know where it could've gone. I'm going to be in so much trouble once he notices its gone. I give Marcus a fake smile as I'm forced to stop searching and come over to him shyly. I purposefully hold my paws behind my back and walk out on his right side so if he wishes to hold paws he won't notice the missing ring.
Once back with everyone I smile and give Mya an awkward help me glance. This puzzled her and made her look at me with her head tilted towards one side in confusion. She then got some kind of idea as she pulled out three bag.
"One for Ruby, one for Damien and one for Marcus." exclaimed Mya handing out the bags.
"I told you that you didn't have to get me anything." sighed Marcus shaking his head as he took the bag.
"What's wrong?" whispered Mya to me as she gave me the bag.
