So this chapter was originally going to be a part of the Vulpar Family Tree section of volume five but in the end a lot of that content need to be cut. Then I was going to put it into chapter six with the whole fight for Rubius but again for time it was once more cut and thus has ended up here. This chapter was meant to be the first part of a possibly three part section that told a little more history concerning Marcus' cabin property, the graveyard behind it and the national forest that butted up against it. So please sit back and enjoy this chapter.

"Is my brother here?" came a call from the front door as I sat on the couch holding little Rubius wondering if it was really in the child's best interest to be raised by him.
"Yes he's in the living room with Rubius right now." replied Damien after giving him a hug and escorting him inside. "I'm getting ready to start dinner you care to join us?"
