It's been a few days since the whole fight and well me and Marcus had some really good makeup sex while the rest of the team followed up on the leads they were given in this new case. Yet that's not the battle that I'm the most concerned about, and before you ask no it's not a battle between me and Marcus since we got that settled in the bed room. Oh, no this battle involves the envelope that was in my paw. I still shaking as I now exit the elevator heading for Marcus' office. Lilly had just given it to me and I've yet to open it as I wanted to wait to open it with Marcus, Mya and Mia.
"Damien dear what is so bloody important that you need all of us to rush up here?" questioned Mia with her head tilted to one side with a smile.
"Damien, is everything okay?" asked Mya as she could tell I was still shaking. Maybe she thinks I'm still afraid of Marcus even though I've told her many times already that everything was good between us.
