Marv was watching as the number of skeletons reduced and the green threads on the trees grew larger until they covered the tree and new leaves were growing on the branches. the magic was spreading everywhere and Marv saw that the grass was regenerating at a quick pace. Marv had been standing at the same spot for about ten minutes and the group had grown more acquainted with each other.
they timed their attacks almost parallel to each other and would often switch out with each other to cause a larger area of damage. Marv was wholly interested in some of the skills that Eve had used. she would start an incantation that took a long time but when it was cast as a skill Marv watched in awe as 12 large heavy blades of light and darkness appeared from around the group and would destroy every skeleton that was as close as 30 metres or so. she would then switch to another skill that she prepared beforehand and heal any slight damage that anybody had taken.
when healed Hannah would jump back and Alyssa would command the ice element to slow the skeletons' movements and the paladins would destroy all the skeletons that seemed to be the strongest. Masha and Hannah would finish the other skeletons by weaving through their ranks.

Marv had been counting the number of skeletons and felt that every time one was destroyed he wanted to bring it back to life...that was what he felt. Angelina's voice would come every few moments to remind him to stay in check.
he then felt Brianna who was in his hands tighten her grip on his arm and whisper a few strange words. not wanting to disturb her he decided to look to the storm clouds that hadn't rained at all since appearing. whether he was able to notice or not Dolos was watching him as well.

Dolos was questioning Marv silently with a frown. but he stayed in his seat and continued watching until Martha and Finn had shouted that they were done. Marv was fascinated as the withered trees regained life and grew taller. their branches grew larger in size as new leaves sprouted.
come to think of it both trees looked similar.
Marv wasn't sure that signified and anything but felt the ground under him shake a bit. that was when he heard several screams within his head. he was surprised but the screams didn't stop for an entire minute with Marv looking around to see if anybody else could hear them. his eyes then fell on a defeated skeleton that had its skull crushed.
he felt something wet ran across his face from his eyes. he simply rubbed his eyes and pulled them away to see a bright red colour on them.
{WHAT IS THIS!}
everybody else who was congratulating each other on their victory saw Marv's blood tears and stood in their places. how were they supposed to react...someone who hadn't participated in the fight was crying blood.
Alyssa was stunned for a while before she ran over to Marv and immediately tried to help him, she wasn't sure of what to do but forced Marv to lay on the ground while placing Brianna in Masha's care. Finn and Martha were watching from their trees and they both had expressionless looks as they watched the tears of blood drop to the ground.
Marv had his head lifted slightly higher than the rest of his body on a mound of earth. Eve then volunteered to heal Marv but to no avail. every time she tried it would work for two seconds before blood gushed out twice as fast as before.
the blood was now flowing at least 8 times as fast as before and seemed to be endless. the blood seeped into the soil and the grass around Marv had a slight tinge of red. Marv felt no pain but just couldn't stop crying. he asked for assistance from Angelina and Pale only to hear no responses.
"oh! to think that there would be a child of death here!"
Dolos was now holding a large bucket of popcorn as he continuously shoved several mouthfuls into his mouth. he was wondering why Marv didn't assist until he had seen the tears of blood seep into the ground. Dolos was familiar with a few entities of death and had even played a few pranks on them. but children of death were...different.
they weren't demi-gods nor were they gods but were direct children of death itself. how they existed was anyone's guess but they were the complete opposite of the children of life. who nobody had seen in over 35 millennia. despite this Dolos had actually met some and was close friends with both. he had managed to trick the system masters for a while as he jumped between worlds only to bump into a system master as he shot through space on a joyride with Apollo's chariot. the system master simply frowned as she tapped Dolos' head and sent him back to this world while locking him here.
Dolos also lost his memory on what the system master looked like but that wasn't important anymore. Dolos wondered if he should intervene now but realised it probably wasn't necessary since the blood from Marv started reducing.
Marv was no longer bleeding now as he sat up with his hands around Eve's shoulders. he had been crying for over fifteen minutes with at least 20 litres of blood seeping in the ground and spreading everywhere. Marv felt ringing in his head but tried to ignore it as he stood up.
he felt slightly unbalanced as he staggered a bit. he then felt his body grow hot a bit before Finn patted his back with a smile.
"you are one, aren't you...a child of death..."
Marv was confused by Finn's statement before his vision was blocked by a large green opaque message board. Marv was slightly disturbed as he read the letters that appeared on the board one after another. he was overjoyed at first but grew angry as he read farther.
