Chapter 1 - Is it a sin to be a strong woman?

Is it a sin to be a strong woman and stand for herself and her rights? Why? Why can't this society accept that a woman could raise her voice against the wrongdoings? Why does this society have to stop her from pointing out the evil system? In this 21st century when everything is moving so fast, why are people's mindsets about women still the same?

They say - "A woman's voice is supposed to be inside four walls". We see this kind of treatment everywhere, almost wherever we go. Why? Why is it that being a strong-willed woman has to be treated as a sin?

I want to ask y'all one thing, what are the parameters of a so-called woman in your point of view? And what is it about men?

In this 21st century, even though we have progressed so much, why is a woman still treated as a weakling? Why is it supposed to be like this? Why won't this society start saying "Look at that man, how he is shouting at a woman" instead of "Look at that woman, shouting at a man"

What's this? Why does such hypocrisy exist? In the nation of worshipping Goddesses and Nature, why is there such a mentality? Isn't the Goddess a woman? Isn't mother nature also a woman? When you treat her as the ultimate power, why can't you accept the simple thought that even a woman who stands beside you can also have the strongest personality? Why do people try to put a seal of characterless or not fit to be a woman tagline on her?

Do you guys know, in what and all ways this so-called men-centered society tries to pull us down and blame us, without even sounding like a person who is against feminism?

Let me tell you an incident that happened recently with me.

There's a higher officer in a village panchayat that I visited. He directly accused us of scolding everyone whosoever goes around our house.

Are we insane or something? I mean, Dude! There's something called inner peace of mind! Do you remember? and why on earth will we spoil our inner peace of mind by scolding everyone who is not even related to us? Yeah! Unless they harm our peaceful life. Well, I want to ask if by scolding do you mean raising voice against wrongdoing that's happening to us?

Wow, wow, wow...!! Cooldown man! Do you know, there's something called right to speak and express our opinion? And also the right to stand for oneself? They are basic human rights. How can you take it away from me, just in the name of the quote "ideal woman"? The truth is I was the only one who raised voice against them when hundreds of them stood by the side in the name of supporting a community. And just because we are in fewer numbers, does that mean standing up for our safety is a bad thing?

Oh! So you guys mean protecting oneself from dangerous things is against law and society rule? It's against the public interest. Then, how about this? Imagine, You will be alone and a group of hundreds of people comes at you, all at once, saying to do things which are against the law or basic ethics. Will you do it?

If your answer is yes... Congrats man you are the next peacemaker of this world and the one to kill your self-esteem and your Soul. But, if you say no! And you will fight against it to the end, even if it takes your life, then I guess, that's what I did as well. Just because of a biological difference between you and me, how can you say that I am a rude person or that I'm hurting everyone? I can't even comprehend the words for these kinds of sick mindset.

Thankfully, he didn't say it directly, or else it would have been recorded and gone viral on social media by now. He had the exact term for it which made all in the house at fault.

Well, do you know friends, what my fault was? Just raising voice against the drainage system which we never had. It's not even counted as raising the voice because it was asked by those political campaign people. And there was a member who said it's not possible to build a drainage system because rainwater and all the wastages are supposed to be flowing on the road itself! Yo man! That person even had his own bunch of supporters. I was wondering how people can go blind on things when it comes to their so-called male ego.

I don't understand their stupidity. Don't you think it's dirty? Imagine walking on the road full of drainage water... Eww... Gross... That's the reason I stood against. Also, I said my point only after I was forced to answer. Or else I don't have any problem as all those problems, I am used to it as of now.

All my fault was to state the problem we were facing with a righteous person, in a very polite way?

I don't understand what's so bad about stating one's opinion? It's not like I am imposing that on you! I am just asking everyone not to impose their belief on us!

Guys! It's not just about basic facilities but also about harming innocent animals and trespassing without any consent. I have seen many people around my house throwing stones at and hurting cats and dogs. They don't even care about whether that animal is a stray or raised by someone. All they care about is hitting them. And also about throwing stones into someone else's house just because they have mango trees or starfruit trees. Who will know their wrongdoings? Isn't this harming someone's house and their peaceful life? And if I have suffered because of those people, why should I stay silent and let them do it more and more? It's not like we didn't talk to them in a good way.

You know, some people in this world are just born to irritate and make everyone's life a living hell. I believe these people belong to that category which is called unfulfilled evil spirits. Their happiness is in harming others and enjoying the sight of suffering.

You think, just because I am a girl, I should stay silent and just turn a blind eye on them, torturing cute, innocent animals? Is it that bad to protect a snake from the verge of death? It doesn't harm anyone unless we harm them, isn't it?. We are living in the middle of their territory and we are expecting them not to come to our garden? How is that possible?  It's just an animal, it doesn't have the thought process as we do.

We are called humans for a reason. Homo sapiens which means wise men. Here wise men mean both male and female. We must understand this basic term as we are the wise species and do not treat one as inferior to others. We all are equal. By equal, I mean getting respected equally. So treat us equal and let us live the way we want to live.
