"Are you okay? That was quite a fall." a voice said. "Th-thewse nwo way I'm okay... Waahhhh!~" a voice responded through sobs and sniffles. "Um... here... I'll lend you my handkerchief. It has the ability to stop the pain and the bleeding... as long as you don't move your leg too much." the voice said through nervous laughter.
My eyes fluttered open though blurry with tears, to find myself looking at a boy with hair as dark as honey with a shine as beautiful as glistening caramel. The boy wrapped a cloth... his handkerchief(?) around my leg as he then glanced upwards towards me and smiled. Ah... his eyes... it's violet. This... must be a dream...
The boy smiled sheepishly with cold sweat as I hit him. "You liah! It stwill hurts! You swaid wonce the hwabky is wapped awound the wound it'd stwop hurting. Huuu..." I said through sniffles. "Ah... I'm sorry for lying... but... it doesn't hurt that badly now right?" the boy asked smiling. "... Yeah... It doesn't..." I replied, wiping my tears with the sleeve of my dress.
The boy smiled softly as he led me to a pond where we sat. The breeze blew softly, rustling the leaves and scattering the petals from the surrounding flowers. The gentle sweet scent of the flowers tickling my nose. I turned to look at him, his face was scrunched in a serious expression. If I could describe it... he actually looked like he was stuck on the toilet with a constipation... that kind of look.
I then turned his face towards mine as I kissed the top of his head, garnering a confused and flustered reaction from the boy. "Wha-what? What are you doing?!" the boy exclaimed in surprise as he fell backwards from the sudden movement leading to me falling on top of him.
"Hehe~ That expwession... you look cwonstwipated." I giggled as I grinned at him. "What?! D-do you even know what that means? You-you're just a kid!" he exclaimed as he pushed me off. "Hahahaha!!! You're a kid as well!" I laughed, holding my torso from the laughter. The boy stopped retorting as he huffed and turned away from my sight, perhaps in anger.
"Are you angwy? Don't be angwy... Heyy..." I said pestering the boy by nudging his elbow before hugging it. "Ah! St-stop! You can't do that! G-girls should refrain from touching guys that easily! Especially if you haven't gotten engaged to anyone... I mean... its... as serious as getting married... I mean..." the boy exclaimed, flustered.
"Huh? Engwaged?Mwawwied? What's that?" I asked innocently as I tilted my head to the side, still holding onto the boy's arm. "Ah... umm... marriage is... umm... two people... who love each other... staying together until they grow old and die! That's what my mom said!" the boy said hurriedly as he struggled to push me off his arm.
"Eh! Mwawwied sounds fun!!! Brother, let's get mwawwied!" I said as I clung even tighter onto his arm making his face grow even redder. "M-marriage isn't to be taken lightly! But... if... you don't mind me then..." the boy said shyly as I leaped into his arms, hugging him. "Hehe~ mwawwy big brother~" I sang as I snuggled closer to his chest.
The boy patted my head as he accepted his fate. On that day, he had promised to marry that girl, me. I on the other hand, snuggled against his chest, feeling the wind on my cheeks and the soft soothing scent coming from his vest. The sound of his heartbeat lulling me to sleep.

"Though we have to part... I'll keep my promise. So... take this..." the boy said as he patted me on the head before opening my hand. He then dropped a flower ring on my palm as he scratched his cheek shyly.
"It's crude because it's the first time I'm making it but... I hope you'll take it... It... It's the thought that counts!" the boy exclaimed as he turned his back towards me in embarrassment. "Brother... I wuv it!" I exclaimed as I hugged his back.
He turned around and smiled softly as he put the flower ring around my ring finger. "It's... a promise..." the boy said as he kissed the top of my forehead, making me giggle with glee. "My name... it's--" the boy said before getting cut off by a ray of light.
My eyes fluttered open as I turned towards the source of the light. Oh, it's already morning. ... I wonder which prince that was... such a sweet dream... I mean, I really love stories about children promising to marry in the future and it actually coming true! It's super adorable! But in all seriousness, which prince was it?
