ALEXIS'S P.O.V :-
" Your partner is a chocolate boy... isn't he Alexis" Ashley says while driving.
" No, he isn't... stop talking about him. We're just business partners and I don't feel anything special about him" I reply with zero interest.
" By the way, what's up with you and Chris?"
" Oh Alexis, he's such a sweetie. We're going on a date tomorrow" she has excitement in her voice but suddenly her expressions change.
" How do you know his name... no one mentioned his name in front if you in the whole conversation" she asks suspiciously.
" Uh...Harry told me" I reply seeming to be confident.
" Oh, Okay" she seems convinced.
Keeping all this aside, Harry is totally into me. I can see it in his eyes. The way he talks to me, the way he looks at me, it defines it all.
I am getting what i want. Now all I have to do is make him accept his feelings for me. Till now, everything's according to my plan. I met him in the mall and he reacted exactly the way I expected him to react. But he looked really cute. He's so cute when he's nervous.
Huh... what am I even thinking. I ain't gonna fall for him.
As we reach at my place we order some food and have a great time remembering our childhood until she talks about my mum dad.
I really miss them. I wish they were here to see my success. It really hurts me to realise that at the end of the day I am all alone... no one to love me, no one to care, no one to hug and put me to bed.
" Hey Alexis, please don't cry" says Ashley and I realise that tears are falling from my eyes.
I hug her and cry out loud letting out all my sadness through tears. She rubs my back and hugs me tight to calm me.
" Thanks to be there for me Ashley"
" Always Alexis, that's what best friends are for" she says and I know she means it. She is the only person I can trust. In the world full of demons I found an angel and she always got my back. I am really lucky to have her as my best friend.
I cross check about my tomorrow's plans and then we sleep. Tomorrow will give me answer to my very important question and I hope it turns out to be what I expect.
HARRY'S P.O.V :-
Last night wasn't good. I had nightmare after which I couldn't sleep. Anyway, today's a new day and I hope it goes well. I open my wardrobe to get dressed and take the t-shirt which Alexis handed me saying it'll look great on me. A smile appears on my face as I remember that. I should at least try it and see how I look in it. Oh god! that girl's totally controlling but I am liking to let her control me.
I guess Chris was right, maybe.....
I like her.
I wear the t-shirt and it really looks good on me. She has a really good fashion sense. Obviously she has, that's why she is the only one in the fashion world who could become my business partner. No one else could ever reach up to my level.
This woman is a lethal combination of 'beauty with brains'.
Putting my thoughts aside I head towards my office and as soon as I enter in my office everyone's staring at me. Why are the staring and me like this....how stupid i am. How can I wear a t-shirt to the office. I always wear a suit. I completely forgot to change. Never mind this is my office... I can wear whatever I want.
As I am defending myself inside my head, Alexis comes and looks at me playfully. I can see the happiness in her playful smile. She comes closer and whispers,
" Someone forgot to put on a suit today" and passes by... and I am blushing. Oh Harry! stop acting like this.
I go to my cabin and can't stop thinking about her. I have never seen any girl so bold before. And her boldness also has a sweet essence of innocence. Her eyes hide a lot of emotions behind that layer of confidence... she is a lady boss with a heart of child.
ALEXIS'S P.O.V :-
He's wearing the t-shirt I told him will look good on him. Great! so he doesn't care about others opinion when it comes to me. Good effect Alexis.
He is completely into me. I got the answer to my question. I guess he deserves a meeting... after all, he's wearing something just for me.
I go to his office where he is casually sitting and smiling. I go inside and say, "Thinking about me Harry?" with a smirk, knowing that he was thinking about me.
"Uh...yes....oh..umm...no" he answers confusingly with embarrassment. This confused and embarrassed face looks cuter than usual.
