Harry stops the car and all I can see is lots and lots of trees with the narrow way between them leading somewhere. As we get down Harry passes me a smile to which I pass an awkward smile. He leads me the way. We walk for about five minutes and then reach at a very beautiful place. We are on a mountain Cliff running along the rim of river and has more mountains around. The cold and fresh Breeze plays with my hair. It's evening so the breeze is a little more colder. I am lost in the beauty of the place. I close my eyes and open my hands wide trying to take in the complete air. The only sound I can hear is of the water in the river and some birds.
I realise that I forgot about Harry. I turn around but he can be seen nowhere.
" Harry" I shout out loud expecting a reply in return but there is no response.
I look here and there but I can't find him anywhere. I start walking towards the place where he parked the car. It has started to be dark and it's even more darker on the way between the trees. It's soothing and scary at the same time. All I can hear is the sound of my footsteps.
I reach to the end and find the car parked there. I move close to the car to check if he's inside.
" Who the hell do you think you are! Get out of the car. How could you leave me alone there!?" I start shouting at Harry while moving towards the car. As I open the door, I see the car empty. I am really scared now. He wasn't there and can't be seen here as well. I started to shiver because of the cold and yes also because I was afraid. Did I mention, I have 'nyctophobia' ; fear of dark. I start crying and chant the song my mother used to sing to me. I should call Harry. How stupid of me not to call him yet I realise I left my clutch there on the Cliff. Now I don't have the courage to go to the dark narrow way again. All I could do is talk to myself and hope that Harry comes here. I sit inside the car completely curled and scared and suddenly it starts to rain making the weather even more cold. What could be worse than this.
HARRY'S P.O.V :-
I go up on the Cliff and find Alexis's clutch laying down there. Alexis was nowhere to be seen. My heart skipped a beat. Where could she have gone. I shouldn't have gone down without informing her. But where could she go. I hope she is okay. I should go find her. I head towards the car, it's very dark. I am so irresponsible to leave her alone. As I am halfway it starts to rain. I am really tensed for her and angry on myself. I hit my hand hard on a tree on the thought of losing her. My hand starts to bleed but I can't feel the pain because right now my heart has more pain than my hand. As I reach near my car I hope she is here. I open the window and find her asleep, shivering, dry eyes tears can be seen on her cheek. I feel so bad for making her cry. She is scared yet calm. Her mascara is spread all around still she looks beautiful. She's all curled up on the seat. I study her features very closely. Her calm expression start to turn into a frown. She starts to sweat that too in such a cold weather. She may be having a nightmare about what just happened. How much she is suffering because of me. I raise my hands to pick her up to take her again to that place but realise that it's raining and I am totally wet. I remove my shirt and cover her with the blazer that hangs on the car seat and pick her up in my arms. My heart is relieved to find her but at the same time upset to put her in so much problem. I brought her here to make her feel good... instead, I made her feel even more sad.
