Chereads / Coconut Blue / Chapter 15 - Coconut's Too Cool for Cooledge

Chapter 15 - Coconut's Too Cool for Cooledge

Once Blue reached his class's door, he slumped against the wall and groaned. "I'm going to have to walk in there in front of everybody and-" He facepalmed and then broke off in a gasp and backed off the wall, his hand on his ass.

---

Coconut stepped forward quickly. "Are you okay?"

---

Blue let out a soft sigh. "It's this thing in me, it's making me...it's hard to walk with." He steeled himself and faced the door.

---

"Wait, Blue. Am I going inside with you?"

---

Blue grabbed his arm and opened the door, rushing in with him. He needed Coconut right now more than anything. "Sorry," He said to the professor and headed for the back of the class. "Is it alright if one extra joins us today?" The professor was annoyed with Blue's interruption but didn't seem to mind Coconut being there so she dismissed them and continued her lesson. Blue sat down at a back table and pulled Coconut down with him.

---

Coconut made himself comfortable and kicked his legs up on the desk. "What class is this?"

---

Blue slowly turned his head toward him, gawking. Then he threw his hands out. "Really?" He mouthed at him.

---

"What?"

---

Blue swatted his legs. "Get down." He mouthed angrily. They caught the attention of a boy sitting in front of them who tapped the arm of the guy he was sitting next to and he turned around too. "Hey, Blue." The first whispered.

Blue only looked at him questioningly. "Isn't he that guy from the art school that kidnapped you?" He was snickering.

Blue rolled his eyes. "Ha." He was unsure of how to respond.

---

Coconut looked at the boy for a moment. "You seem like a complete asshole."

---

Blue looked at Coconut and shook his head like now really wasn't the time.

The other guy joked, "So who are you then, his boyfriend or something?" The other cracked up quietly.

Blue squeezed his fists, hoping Coconut wouldn't say anything. His eyes glued to the professor.

---

Coconut shook his head coolly. "Nah, I'm here to watch him."

---

That made the both of them laugh and then they turned on Blue to make fun of him but the professor snapped at them and they shut up. Then she noticed Blue didn't have notes out or anything and gave him a look before marking something down in a notebook on her desk.

"Shit," Blue murmured.

---

"What's wrong?"

---

Blue whispered to him while resting his head on his folded arms, not moving his gaze from the teacher. "I forgot my books and… well, I didn't bring anything to class so I'm losing points for that."

---

"Oh. Sorry."

---

"No, it's alright." Blue sat like that and watched the teacher but didn't listen. Once class was over, Blue stood up quickly, grabbing Coconut's arm and jerking him from his seat.

---

"Where are we going next?" Coconut asked as he was dragged from his seat.

----

"To my dorm." He said when they were in the hall, passing through the crowd of people. "I left my books there and we have time before my next class to get them."

-----

"Alright, do we need to drive there?"

---

"Yes." Blue dragged Coconut through the parking lot, he ignored a couple kids shouting at Blue. They knew Coconut was from the art school so they called them a couple of mean names for showing up there together and then. But that's not what made Blue let go of his hand. He let go when he remembered the one guy in his class called them boyfriend's. He didn't want anyone else thinking the same thing even if they were only joking.

---

Coconut opened the passenger door for Blue when they reached his car.

---

Blue hesitated before stepping in and gave Coconut a look. "Probably shouldn't." He slid into the car and closed the door anyway.

---

Coconut shrugged and walked around the car, getting inside and starting it.

---

Blue gasped and let a small moan slip out of him when he felt the vibrations of the car rush through him, making him tighten around the thing inside of him. "That's it!" He yelled.

---

"What?" Coconut asked, startled by his sudden outburst.

---

Blue arched his back, pushing against the back of the seat and pulled down his pants and boxers, reaching between his ass cheeks and removing the object with a pained pleasurable sigh.

---

"Blue?" Coconut asked, confused as all hell.

---

Blue grabbed the last of the napkins on the dashboard and shoved them in his boxers. "Oh shit, this is bad." He gave back the object. "I hate that thing, go chuck it in a river." He collapsed against the seat.

---

"Angel, if it's that bad we can skip your next class so you can take a shower," Coconut said with concern.

---

"No. I'm fine. Let's go to my dorm." He buckled himself in.

---

"Uh… okay…" Coconut drove off towards Blue's dorm, still pretty confused. "Why'd you suddenly change your mind? You seemed fine earlier."

---

"I wasn't." Blue sighed. "It's embarrassing…"

---

"What's embarrassing?"

---

Blue blushed, now frustrated and flustered as he looked out the window. "That-that thing up my ass felt like...you were still…it was making me feel erotic I guess and it was damn annoying."

---

Coconut smirked. "So it felt too good?"

---

"Sssshut up, Coconut." He facepalmed and slumped in the seat, his ears red.

---

"It couldn't have been that bad, I mean, it wasn't even vibrating."

---

"Oh my god." Blue wouldn't have survived.

---

Coconut let out a small huff of laughter. "You wouldn't have lasted a minute."

---

"Are we there yet?" He whined in embarrassment.

---

"Yeah," Coconut answered, pulling up to the dorm.

---

Blue jumped out of the car and at first hurried up the hill to his dorm but then froze in his tracks and groaned. "Coconut, I'm going to kill you." He muttered as he walked carefully this time toward the dorm.

---

Coconut stopped the car and got out, trotting after Blue and catching up easily.

---

Blue felt like he should tell Coconut to wait in the car but he was too tired to tell him or care too much so he let him walk into the dorm with him. Blue headed straight for his room, passing Mason and Leo who were eating breakfast.

---

Coconut walked into the dorm behind Blue and kind of awkwardly stood, waiting for Blue to grab his things.

---

Mason and Leo stared at him in silence. Surprised he just walked in with Blue, nothing said by anyone. The intensely awkward atmosphere was apparently too much for Leo because he left the room. Mason was left leaning against the cabinet waiting for his toast to finish, giving Coconut a small glare which could also be confused with a grouchy morning look.

---

Coconut looked at Mason and awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck. "Thanks for...um… driving Blue to my dorm last night. I really appreciate it."

---

Mason's look didn't change. His toast popped but he remained unflinching as he death glared Coconut.

Blue was out of his room by then. "Ok, lets go." He grabbed Coconut's hand and ignored Mason.

"Blue." He said, but still glaring at Coconut.

"What?" He stopped.

"Can I talk to you?"

"Um, I'm kind of in a hurry."

"Don't care. We need to talk." He moved his glare on him.

---

Coconut narrowed his eyes but let go of Blue's hand. "Go talk to him, I'll be waiting here."

---

Blue looked at him and then nervously back at Mason and sighed in annoyance. "Fine."

Mason walked out of the kitchen and into Blue's room, expecting him to follow, which Blue did.

Mason glared at Coconut and slowly closed the door which Blue did not like.

"Uh, so what's this about?" As if he didn't know.

Mason turned around on him, leaning his back against the door and folding his arms like he had in the kitchen. "You need to break up with him."

"What? No." Blue said.

"This is unhealthy."

"How?" He challenged, angry.

Mason raised his eyebrows. "You, me, and your parents all know how."

"Mason, don't even think about-"

"I won't, so long as this doesn't get out of hand, but it looks like it's headed that way. You two had sex last night, didn't you?"

Blue was speechless. "Uh- we-"

"Thats a yes." He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "You guys shouldn't be living together. It's unhealthy for your family and your schoolwork. So stop or I'm going to tell someone."

Blue's hands were shaking.

"Ok?"

"Ok." He said quietly.

"Ok you'll stop seeing him?"

"No, ok I'll stop...living with him."

"Good."

Blue wanted to scream at hum: no, not good.

"So tell him, Blue. Right now." He opened the door.

"What? Mason-"

"Tell him." He glared.

Blue stuttered, frozen as he looked at Coconut who was so far away from him at the moment.

---

Coconut looked away from the pictures he was staring at and smiled at Blue, unaware of the situation. "Ready to go now, Angel?"

---

Blue stood shaking looking between Mason and Coconut. He thought about how much it would break Coconut's heart and how scared he would be at night, but then he thought about his parents and how much freedom they would take away from him. "C-Coconut...I can't stay with you." He gulped.

---

Coconut's smile immediately fell. "Wh-What?"

---

"I'm sorry." He glanced at Mason and wrung his hands. "But I- if we want to be together-"

Mason cut him off by closing the door. "Nope. Start over."

"What?" He was furious.

"You aren't going to be together."

"But I- that's not fair." Blue glared at him and Mason glared back.

"Life's not fair." He spat and then opened the door again. "Start over."

Blue glared at him and then sensitively at Coconut, his jaw and hands shaking.

---

Coconut only stared at him, his breathing started to become heavy and his eyes wide with the beginnings of panic.

---

"I-" Blue looked at Mason. "I can't."

Mason rolled his eyes and walked out of Blue's room, closing the door, trapping Blue in his own room.

"No, Mason!" He yanked at the doorknob and pounded on the door. "Don't! Please!" He knew Coconut was going to break.

---

Coconut's eyes were becoming wet with tears as he struggled to keep them from falling. He bit his lip and tried his best not to whimper when he made eye contact with Mason.

---

Mason glared at him, leaning against the door with his hand gripping the handle to keep from Blue opening it. "You can't be with him. You have to leave."

---

"N-No…" Coconut said weakly. "Blue said he'd never leave me…"

---

"Well, he was obviously wrong. He doesn't want to be with you. If I see you two together again, I'm calling his parents and telling them everything. If they haven't figured it out by now."

"Mason, stop!" Blue threw himself into the door.

Mason kicked it and yelled over his shoulder, "shut up, Blue! This is for your own good!"

---

Coconut's expression changed in an instant. "You're blackmailing him? You fucking asshole."

---

"Get out of here." He growled lowly.

---

"No." Coconut looked at him with his eyes full of complete hatred.

---

"I said get out!"

Blue burst through the door at that moment, throwing Mason to the side. Blue wiped his eyes and furiously glared at Mason. "It's not true, Coconut." He looked back at him. "He's lying to you."

---

"I know. I believe you," Coconut answered with a soft smile, then he glared down at Mason. "Get your books, I want to get out here as soon as possible."

---

Blue picked up his books from the table and turned back to Coconut. "He's going to tell my parents." He wiped his red eyes with one hand, clutching his books to his chest with the other.

---

"There isn't a lot we can do about it, Angel." Coconut looked at him lovingly. "Is that okay? Will you be okay?"

---

"No!" Blue was panicking. "They're going to take everything from me!" He looked at Mason. "You can't tell them!"

---

Coconut looked at Blue sadly. "Blue, we should go. We can figure this out."

---

"We have to figure this out now! If he tells my parents, they'll take me away from here! They'll take me away from you! Mason, please don't, or you'll ruin my life."

Mason rolled his eyes, "my god, you're dramatic."

Leo walked sheepishly into the room at that moment. "Hey guys, what's going on out here?"

Neither Blue or Mason said anything.

----

"I-I… don't know what to do, Blue…" Coconut whimpered, completely ignoring Leo.

---

Leo looked back and forth from all of them. "Whaaat have I just walked in on?"

Mason continued glaring at Blue while speaking to Leo. "Leo, are you concerned about Blue's health?"

"Is this about them dating?" He looked concerned.

"Yes."

"Leave them alone, Mason. We don't need this kind of drama." He walked away and sat on the couch turning on the tv as if this was a casual thing to do.

"Wh-what?" Both Mason and Blue stuttered.

---

Coconut watched Leo curiously.

---

"Mason, leave out of it. You're just upset because you can't be with your boyfriend."

---

Coconut whipped his head back to Mason. "You had a boyfriend?"

---

Mason growled. "Leo! I told you not to ever bring him up again!"

"Yeah he was dating this one dude but he had to stop because the school found out they were having sex so they seperated them." He kicked his feet up on the table and grabbed an old bowl of popcorn.

---

"Oh, really?" Coconut asked sympathetically.

---

Mason glowered and rolled his eyes. "Im sorry, Blue. I was never going to tell your parents anyway."

Blue calmed down. "I'm sorry too, Mason. I should have known you were dating that guy, I can't believe I was so blind."

"I don't think you ever met him, you were always cooped up in your room."

"I saw him a few times. He's in my lawstudy class."

---

"What's his name?"

---

Mason looked away shyly and shoved his hands in his sweatshirt pockets, walking away with his head down. "Elliot." He muttered sadly.

---

"Elliot? You mean Elliot Rider?" Coconut asked in surprise.

---

"Yes." His voice saddened.

"Wow, Mason, you're missing him." Leo sounded surprised and chomped on a piece of stale popcorn.

"Shut up, Leo."

Leo chuckled and then discarded the gross popcorn.

---

"Wait. I know I recognised you!" Coconut suddenly said, looking at Mason. "You were Ellie's new boyfriend a while ago!"

---

"So you know Ellie? I don't recognise you." He looked at him over his shoulder with crossed arms.

---

Coconut chuckled nervously, glancing at Blue and rubbing the back of his neck. "Well, yeah… before you started dating, Ellie was kind of… my friend with benefits…?"

----

Mason turned around fully, glaring at him. "What?" Venom coating his words.

Blue looked away and waited by the door. Now his hands were shaking with anger.

---

"Yeah, we were really close but he wanted us to go back to friends when he met you, I guess," Coconut said, pointing at Mason. "I had no problem with it, in fact, I was pretty happy for him. I'm just kind of disappointed it didn't work out for you."

---

Mason glared harder, grumbling. Leo recognized the sound as his usual 1st stage of anger. He twisted around from on the couch. "Uh, you should go. Mason's gonna blow."

"Get. Out." He deathglared Coconut, shaking in rage.

Blue was already walking out the door, muttering.

---

Coconut frowned and didn't move. "Are you still in contact with him?"

---

"Sort of. Just get out."

---

"No. I want Ellie to be happy, and I know for a damn fact that he was happy with you."

---

Mason's shaking ceased and he sighed. "You're right, he was happy with me. I knew that for a fact as well. I was happy too. But none of that matters anymore. After the school split us into different dorms, Elliot and I slowly grew apart from each other."

Blue was waiting in the car.

---

"I can get you guys back into the same dorm."

---

"What? No you can't." He didn't believe him.

---

"Yeah, I can." Coconut crossed his arms. "I already planned on talking to your guys' principle, and I'm sure I can squeeze that into our deal."

---

Mason's glare was lessening. "Are you serious? I doubt it will work."

---

"I'm completely serious. You can take it as a thank you for bringing Blue to me yesterday and making Ellie happy."

---

"Fine. You get Ellie and I back together and I'll keep you and Blue together by not telling his parents anything. Just don't kiss in front of me."

---

"Alright. I'll have Blue text you when I get it done." Coconut waved at him and walked out of the dorm.

---

Blue was still waiting anxiously inside the car, and a little annoyed with Coconut.

---

Coconut opened the door to the driver's side and got in, closing the door and starting the car. "Do you have everything, Angel?"

---

"Yes." He wasn't looking at him.

---

"Did I do something stupid again?" Coconut asked disappointedly.

---

Blue sighed. "No. I just wish I was the only friend you had benefits with."

----

Coconut looked over at him in confusion. "Why would you want to be my friend with benefits if you could be my boyfriend? Ellie and I were fuckbuddies a long time ago, and it was only until he found someone he could love. We were best friends, and I was only having sex with him to satisfy him until he found someone else."

---

Blue put his hands on his ears. "Ok, ok, you're right. I'm sorry, I just get jealous easily."

---

"It's cute, just don't neglect me because of it, okay?"

---

"Ok." He blushed.

---

"So, back to your next class?" Coconut asked as he pulled away from the dorm, heading to Blue's college again.

---

"Yeah, it's my law class. We could talk to Elliot there."

---

"Really? Wow, I haven't seen him in ages because of all his schoolwork!"

---

Blue grumbled enviously.

----

Coconut chuckled. "Oh, calm down. We're best friends. I don't get jealous over you and Char."

---

"Char is a girl. And you know I'm into men. Elliot is a boy. I know you're into men." He folded his arms and gave him an angry pout.

---

"Well right now, I'm only into you!" Coconut winked.

---

Blue felt better and smiled. "Why wouldn't you be?" He praised himself.

---

Coconut scoffed. "Getting more confident as we go."

---

"Of course, I've got a hot boyfriend."

---

"And so do I." Coconut smirked at him and parked in front of the college again. "Alright, lead the way to your next class."

----

"Will do." He stepped out of the car and walked toward the building, turning back to watch Coconut catch up with him. "You say all the right things."

---

"Of course I do! My charming and charismatic personality defeats all!" He said jokingly.

---

"It does." Blue admitted while chuckling, leading him through the building.

---

"So, is this law class of yours difficult?"

---

"Not for me. I'm doing well. Being cooped up in my room pays off."

---

"I meant for me. Would it be hard for me, if I were in it?"

---

Blue snorted. "I think so. It's a lot of bookwork you wouldn't be able to sit still for Mr. Sportsman." They made it to his next class right on time. A very large and quiet room which was already filled with a class. The teacher was preparing his notes for his lesson. Blue grabbed Coconut's hand and led him upward a set of wooden bleachers seats toward the one Elliot was sitting in. They scoot in next to him, Blue made sure he was between them and then he tapped his shoulder. "Hey, Elliot." He whispered.

---

Elliot looked up curiously. He was obviously albino, with redish-pinkish eyes and snow white hair. "Yeah?"

Coconut smiled widely, exclaiming, "Ellie! I haven't seen you in forever! How've you been?" He stood up and leaned over Blue to give his best friend a hug.

"I've been great! How are you, Coco? Band still together?" He smiled brightly after they parted.

"Yep! We're still going strong." Coconut sat back down, still talking excitedly with Elliot, despite Blue being between them.

---

Blue felt squished between them but was determined to stay there. Strangely he felt left out even though he couldn't be more in the way. Blue cleared his throat. "Anyway, Elliot, we have something important to discuss with you."

---

Coconut suddenly remembered. "Oh, yeah. Hey, you know how we stopped messing around because you got a boyfriend?" Coconut asked, making sure to keep his voice down so no one around could hear.

Ellie nodded. "Yeah, why? Did you want to get together again or something?" He tilted his head, his voice also a whisper.

---

Blue glared and pinched Coconut's knee. "No! No, he definitely does not want- actually, it's really important you get back together with your old boyfriend that way Coconut and I can stay together." Blue whispered the part about him and Coconut.

---

"Oh, Mason? I wish I could, but the school split us up." Elliot shook his head sadly and tried to change the subject. "Anyway, so, Coco… finally hooked up with someone?"

Coconut rolled his eyes. "It's not hooking up its dating."

Elliot shrugged. "Same thing."

---

Blue squinted at him. "It definitely isn't. And you wondered why I disagreed with you so much on the debate team." He rolled his eyes. "Elliot, do you still like Mason? Because he misses you. And, I was thinking...why should you let the school stop you two from being together? They've got no right."

---

"It's probably the same reason you can't come out. The school will kick us out. And of course I still like Mason, I would have never left if I didn't have to."

Coconut smiled at him. "Don't worry, I can handle all the details. I just need to know if you'd be willing to dorm with him again."

Elliot almost looked offended. "Did you really think I would say no?"

---

"Coconut is going to try to talk to the school about this. I don't think that would work, but, it's worth a shot."

---

"Thanks, you two. You don't know how much that means to me." Elliot gave them both a smile and winked at Coconut. "And I gotta say Coconut, damn. You look hotter than the last time I saw you."

Coconut rolled his eyes and playfully flirted back. "Yeah, Mason's in for the surprise of his life when you guys get back together." He winked at him too and they both laughed.

---

Blue gagged. "I never want to hear you two say things like that to each other ever again." He groaned in annoyance and grabbed Coconut's arm, squinting at Elliot.

----

Elliot shrugged. "Sorry, that's just how our relationship is."

Coconut nodded. "Yeah, Angel, I'm afraid it's just a habit now."

---

"Well then it better stop now or you can say goodbye to kissing me." He muttered under his breath. "And it is not a relationship, you two are in a friendship, nothing more."

---

Elliot giggled and leaned forward with a smirk. "We used to be something more," he teased.

Coconut scoffed and shoved Elliot's head, which made him laugh. "Yeah, but that was a long time ago."

----

"It better have been." Blue glared at Elliot.

That's when the lesson started and Blue angrily opened his notebook and pencil to take angry silent notes.

---

Coconut boredly listened to the teacher, not used to classes being so boring. "Hey, Blue. When does this class end?"

---

"Ssh. It hasn't even been ten minutes yet. And don't talk. He hates when people talk."

---

"Uuuggghhh…" Coconut groaned loudly, slumping down in his seat.

Eliot giggled quietly but went back to taking his notes.

---

Blue whipped his head toward Elliot, not giving him any friendly look whatsoever and then returning to his notes.

The professor paused in his speech at the board and turned around, shooting daggers toward the back of his class, scouring the crowd. Blue's heart froze.

He sneered and returned to teaching.

---

Coconut scoffed, throwing his feet up on the table again and getting out his phone.

---

Blue jabbed his elbow into his knees and whispered sharply, "Coconut, cut it out!"

---

"It's so boring in here. I can hear the fucking silence."

---

The professor whipped around and slammed his piece of chalk on his desk. "I heard that." His voice rang loud and clear. He leaned his hands on the desk and glared at Coconut. "Who are you?" Blue slumped, staring at his notebook, wishing he could bury himself alive if it meant hiding from his professor stare. "Blue, take your friend and wait for me outside after class."

Blue stood up quickly with his things and grabbed Coconut's arm.

---

"Um, no." Coconut yanked his arm from Blue. "I'll leave the class but Blue shouldn't have to," he replied, staring stubbornly at the professor.

---

The professor's stern stare hardened and the entire class slowly turned backward to look at them in eerie unison. It was something out of a nightmare for Blue. He stood there shaking. Blue grabbed Coconut's arm again, "Come on, Coconut." He deathly whispered.

---

Coconut stood his ground, not letting himself be pulled away. "He can't send you out of the class for something I did. That's common sense."

---

"Blue brought a guest into my class so that holds him immediately responsible. I'm giving you one last chance to march both your asses out of here before I fail Mr. Angelite."

"Come on, Coconut, please."

---

Coconut ignored Blue and seethed at the professor. "Blue is not responsible for me because I am not a fucking dog, you son of a bitch. It's an abuse of power if you kick Blue out of your class when you could kick out just me, the real problem. I couldn't give a shit about what punishment I get, but if Blue gets in trouble for me, I. Will. Beat. Your. Ass."

---

Blue was gawking at Coconut in terror. The professor's mean stare remained unflinching. He picked up the work phone on his desk and pressed a button. "Your arrogance astounds me, so we'll play this exactly how you like. I've called security. They'll escort you to the office." He coldly smiled. "Sit down, Blue." He ordered.

---

Coconut sighed, clenching and unclenching his fists to try and calm down. "Fine. While we wait, we can do it your way. You can ask me any one of your stupid intellectual questions and if I get it right, Blue goes unpunished, if not, I'll go without a fight."

---

The old man laughed a booming cackle. "You're very cute. I'll see what I can pull out of my sleeve for you." He unfolded a pair of reading classes and flipped through one of his giant notebooks. "What is the most important case of the Supreme court and why?" He evilly smiled, staring up from the book at him.

---

Coconut thought for only a second. "Obergefell versus Hodges in 2015," Coconut stated confidently.

---

"How did you know that?" Blue whispered harshly from in his seat.

The security stepped into the room at that moment.

"And why?" The professor growled.

---

"Because it legalized same-sex marriage nation-wide."

---

The man chuckled. "Wrong." He pointed Coconut out to the officers and they made their way up the rows of seats."

---

Coconut became visibly furious. "How the fuck could it be wrong?! Your question was entirely opinionated! If my answer was wrong, what's the right one, hm?"

---

"Sir, I'm asking you to stand up please or we're going to get physical." The woman officer warned.

The professor didn't say anything.

"Coconut, just go with them, I'll meet you there after class." Blue said.

---

"No." He looked at the security guards and politely asked, "Can you wait just a moment? I want to know why I got the question wrong. I didn't actually do anything anyway."

---

"Get out of my class."

"Sir, please don't make my job harder."

---

"I'm not making your job harder. Just give me a moment." Coconut looked back at the teacher. "You didn't explain your question very well. You asked me what case was most important, so I answered the one most important to me. Enjoy your cheat victory, jackass." Coconut walked out of the room with the security guard, flipping the professor off the entire way. Then, from outside the hallway, Coconut yelled, "Don't know why you're teaching law class! You seem fucking awful at defending yourself!" Coconut's cackling faded as he walked further from the class.

---

Blue buried his head beneath his hands in embarrassment. The teacher coolly shook off Coconut's insults with an annoyed sigh and continued teaching. "That was a living example of a court case victory. What is important to remember is to keep your ground and support your claim with evidence all the while ignoring any comment that is shot at you to test your abilities or strike you down."

A couple girls in front of Blue murmured something against the teacher's statement. Blue couldn't stand sitting there any longer so he stood, grabbing his books and running down the rows of seats and running out the door, the professor ignoring him despite the class's eyes on his back the whole while.

Blue chased after the guards walking with Coconut. "Yuno!" Blue ran after him.

---

Coconut turned around and looked at him weirdly. "Why aren't you in class?"

---

Blue looked at him absurdly. "Why am I not in class? You just insulted my teacher for my sake and- I couldn't not follow you, I don't want you getting in trouble."

---

"I'm not getting in trouble, Blue. I don't even go to this school."

---

Blue scowled at him. "Which is exactly why you can't do things like this!"

"You don't go to this school?" The big mustached officer laughed.

---

"Eh." Coconut shrugged, completely unconcerned.

---

The big guy wheezed a delightful laugh. "And you just called out Isaac?" He was tearing up. "Barb, can you believe this guy?"

Barb rolled her eyes.

Blue ignored them. "Coconut, please don't do that again."

The officers looked at each other in confusion at the strange name.

---

"Hmph. Fine. What did he say after I left?" Coconut asked excitedly. "Was he upset, was he angry?"

---

Blue shook his head and looked at him like that should have been the last thing on his mind. "Coconut, you're an- I appreciate what you did." He stopped himself. "But you embarrassed me."

"Isaac sure seemed embarrassed." The big guy laughed and Barb hit his shoulder to shut him up.

---

"You're always embarrassed." Coconut pouted. "I was just standing up for you and me."

---

Blue shook his head. "You didn't have to behave like a- you were unprofessional."

---

"Ah, whatever. I'm always unprofessional." Coconut chuckled. "Pfft. You should've seen me at my last company meeting! Hah!"

---

Blue grabbed his shoulder, turning him around. "That's just the thing. You're unprofessional, undisciplined, inappropriate, and...an embarrassment." Blue looked him straight in the eyes. "My parents would despise you."

---

"I couldn't care less about what your parents think of me," Coconut rolled his eyes. "I only care about what you think of me."

---

Blue's look softened. "I think you're brilliant, independant and impressively skilled, courageous, charming, strong...protecting...and devilishly good looking." He was shaky in the knees just from talking about him so much, Blue grabbed his head and stood on his toes to kiss him, forgetting they weren't alone.

---

Coconut glanced over at the security guards, but gave Blue a quick kiss anyway, deciding he had already been too obvious.

---

"But seriously, what the hell was that, Coconut? You can't just challenge a teacher like that." He let go of him.

The officers were too surprised to react.

---

"Really?" Coconut asked cluelessly. "Happens all the time at my school."

---

Blue scoffed. "You're ridiculous."

The officers took Coconut by the arms. "Okay, moving along now." The lady said. The guy cleared his throat, a small smirk on his face.

"I'll come with you to the office." Blue hurried to catch up.

---

Coconut pulled his arms out of the officers' holds. "I can walk by myself, thank you."

---

The guy shrugged. "Fine then, lets go."

Blue grabbed Coconut's wrist and jerked him downward so he could whisper in his ear better, "this will be fine, we wanted to see the principal anyway."

---

"Yeah, I know. Did you think i was just going to go to the office and wait while they called my parents?"

---

Blue let go of him when the officers opened the door to the office and putting a hand on Coconut's back, ushered him in. The lady rolled her eyes but let Blue follow after. In the office, the security guard led them to another door- the principal's office obviously and opened the door for Coconut but held Blue back.

"Hey, I'm responsible for him, I should-" he broke off, pointing into the office.

---

Coconut turned his head back towards the door. "Let him in, he's with me."

---

"It's just like you said yourself, he shouldn't get in trouble for your actions." He smiled and closed the door.

---

Coconut huffed angrily and turned back around.

---

"May I ask what you're doing in my office?" A tall skinny woman with her hair tied tightly in a bun behind her head was sitting behind a giant desk across the large sleek room with a large window behind her, but it was covered with plastic blinds which were folded upward to block out the light coming in through the room. Her laptop, which was the only light source in the room, reflected in her glasses.

---

Coconut crossed his arms and looked around. "You've got a real gloomy room here."

---

"I like it." She lifted a small remote and clicked a button, the blinds behind her flitting open and unleashing blinding light. "Please take a seat." Everything about her- the room, her tone, was expressionless.

---

Coconut shrugged and did as she asked, taking a seat in the chair in front of the desk.

---

"I'm asking again, why are you here?" Her attention turned to her laptop.

---

"I apparently interrupted a class and the boy who brought me here got in trouble for me, so I got angry and tried to defend him. He got to stay but ended up coming with me on his own." Coconut rolled his eyes, kind of confused with Blue's decision to follow him when he tried so hard to keep him there.

---

"Hm. What's your name?"

---

"Yuno Alpine."

---

She typed and after a silent second or two, she looked up at him and took off her glasses, raising her eyebrows. "You aren't supposed to be in this building. You're registered under Mr. Douglas which tells me you're a member of the Cerulean Arts school, not the Cerulean Academics. Since you've caused a disturbance, I am asking you to return to the other building and not come back." She put her glasses on and returned to typing on her computer. "You may go."

---

Coconut leaned forward. "Actually, I planned on coming here anyway, though getting in trouble wasn't how I was going to do it… I want to talk about a few things involving dorm arrangements." He sat back and looked off to the side. "I know you might not take me seriously since I was so childish earlier, but I have experience with this kind of thing, so hear me out."

---

She sighed heavily and looked up at him, clicking with her mouse without looking at the screen. "Oh great, more complaints."

---

"Not complaints, necessarily, just requests."

---

"You want to move in with your girlfriend? Frankly, I'm tired of hearing that one so it's going to be a no from me."

---

Coconut shook his head. "No. I want my boyfriend to move in with me."

---

She stopped clicking and looked up at him, intrigued. Then she closed her laptop and smiled, taking her glasses off again, she deeply chuckled slowly. "Do tell me just who you think you are."

---

"I'm Yuno Alpine," Coconut said cooly, leaning back in his chair, meeting her gaze easily. "CEO of Alpine Corporations, valedictorian of Cerulean Arts, rising singer in the industry, and one of the richest people in the world."

---

"And what else are you? A student. And what am I? Your principal. I have your name written in the book, Mr. Alpine, I know exactly who you are and what powers you're connected to, but having money doesn't give you the right to make demands and expect me to hand over what you wish for like one of your butlers at home." She wiped the amused look off her face and cleared her throat. "I'm sorry, I'll listen now. I'm fully prepared to possibly make whatever arrangements you'd like if I see them fit."

---

"Um...okay?" Coconut replied, giving her a confused look as he continued. "I want my boyfriend to move in with me for medical reasons. If I could live without him, I wouldn't be here asking for the change."

---

"What are your medical reasons?" She clasped her hands together on the desk, her look nothing but business.

---

"I… I get night terrors every night, but recently I've discovered that sleeping with him chases them away, as far as I know."

---

"Have you seen a doctor about this? I'm afraid I can't help you unless you have a medical pass."

---

"I've seen several doctors, multiple times. I was diagnosed with PTSD a few years back."

---

"I don't care what it is, I'm asking if you have proof that a person- specifically someone you have romantic affairs with- really qualifies as a medicine to your problem. Because otherwise, it's a no."

---

"I'm not saying it's a medicine. He doesn't… get rid of my night terrors per say, but he's one of the only people who can calm me down from a panic attack. I think that qualifies well enough."

---

"Mhm, I suppose that's good enough, and if I turned you down you would sue me so may I simply ask who-"

The door opened and Blue stood in the doorway, thanking whoever had opened it for him and then walking toward the principal. "I'm so sorry." He shook his head with a concerned face. He put his hand on the back of Coconut's chair, looking at him and then the principal. "He's my friend, i'm sorry for anything offensive he's probably said by now-"

"You left my door open." She groaned. She leaned over, calling to the guard outside. "Close my door, Jenson." The lady guard closed it.

"Again, I'm really s-" Blue felt like he was a father of a brat in grade school sent to the principal's office.

She looked at Coconut. "Is this him?"

---

"Yeah."

---

Her eyebrows stretched in surprise and her eyes widened, "Really?" She said it like it was a fascinating fact about an animal.

"Wh-what? What were you two talking about?" He looked down at Coconut, having a gut feeling as to what it was about.

The lady displayed an evil white smile. "Aren't you Ned and Alison's son?"

Blue's eyebrows furrowed, his heart dropping from a thousand story building and shattering into a million pieces. "Noooo…." He breathed.

---

Coconut saw the panic in Blue's eyes and turned back to the principle. "So. Can he move in with me or no?"

---

She chuckled. "Oh, there's no problem here with that at all, he's from this side, you're from the other, I don't necessarily care. But I'm sure his parents will."

"Please don't."

---

Coconut narrowed his eyes. "You can't tell them. Not legally. I will sue you if they find out about this."

---

"Sue me for what?" She snorted. "And it is legal. I have to send a message to both of your guardians about the transporting of students to other dorms. That is a law."

---

"No it's not. Why the hell would his parents need to be notified? He's a grown adult. He doesn't need permission from his guardians."

---

She leaned forward still smiling. "He didn't pay to be here."

---

"Actually, it doesn't matter. Even if he didn't pay to be here, his parents don't need to know where he lives."

---

"They did if they requested it. I can show you his submittance forms if you like."

"I was sent here with a scholarship." Blue spoke up for himself.

The principal turned her attention on him. She opened her laptop and typed in his full name. "Right you are, but it still doesn't cover everything. Anyway, that doesn't matter." She closed her laptop. "I'll be extra nice for you two."

---

Coconut narrowed his eyes. "Fine. What is it? And if it's nice enough, I'll donate to your school."

---

"Well, thank you for offering." She smiled. "You two are in no trouble at all by school standards- besides what you did to Mr. Reynolds. That poor man has a heart you know." She looked at Coconut. "Seeing as how Mr. Alpine's wealth is threatening to the school, and he just so graciously offered a donation, I'll notify your parents of your rearranging of dorms and give a silly excuse for it so they'll have no clue of your...relationship."

---

"Thank you. There's one last thing I'd like to ask, though. I recently found out that one of my good friends was separated from his boyfriend and I'd like for him to move into Blue's empty dorm so they can get back together."

---

"Throw in your donation and it's as good as done." She put her glasses back on, raising her eyebrows and opened her laptop again.

---

"How much do you want?" Coconut asked boredly.

---

"My my, Mr. Alpine. Aren't you the head of a famous business? I'll give you a tip, never ask the client what they want. Humans are a greedy race. 10,000."

---

Coconut grunted. "I don't need advice. I always ask what they want, because I know when I'm over paying." He sighed and looked at her. "Since you made the arrangements with me, I'll give you what I was originally planning to."

---

"Schools are expensive, Mr. Alpine it ought to be something worth well over-"

---

"100,000." Coconut looked off distractedly.

---

"Lovely!" She brightened. "Is there anything else you need?"

Blue spoke up, "What are you going to tell my parents?"

She frowned at Blue. "I do hope one day you stop letting them control you. What would you like for me to say?" Her mood was cheerful, as if every problem she ever had was just solved.

Blue sighed. "Just tell them...I moved some place quieter, with better roommates who wouldn't distract me from my studies." Which was the exact opposite of what his new roommates were.

"Right away."

---

Coconut stood up from his seat. "Thanks again. I'm glad we could work something out." He grabbed Blue's hand and pulled him to the door. "I'll make sure the donation gets to you. Use it wisely."

---

"You should hope for your own sake the donation gets to me or...well, I'm good friends with Blue's parents." She smiled evilly again, squinting at Blue. "But I trust you will, Mr. Alpine."

---

"Yeah, yeah." Coconut pulled Blue out of the office with him. "Are you good?"

---

Blue was staring off into space, lost in thought. And then he pulled away from Coconut, saying goodbye to the officers and walking out of the office.

---

"Blue?" Coconut asked again.

---

"Yuno?" Blue looked back at him with a vacant expression and joined the crowd flowing through the hallway.

---

"Hey, did I do something wrong?" Coconut asked, grabbing Blue's shoulder.

---

Blue sighed. "No you said all the right things." He took his hand and pulled him toward the exit and into the courtyard in front of the parking lot.

---

"Then why do you seem so upset?"

---

"I'm not upset, Coconut." He pulled him away from the flow of strangers and toward a bench which he sat on.

---

"Then… Why do I feel like something's wrong?" Coconut sat down beside him

---

Blue put his hands to his face. "I was FREAKED out, Coconut. Oh my god. You guys were supposed to be talking about Elliot and Mason, not you and I. And my parents." He sighed again. "I'm so afraid of them. She wasn't lying when she said she was friends with my mom and dad."

---

Coconut looked at him sadly and put a hand on his back. "She was right, you know."

---

"About what?" he scooted closer to him, his expression still stressed.

---

"About your parents." Coconut inched closer and threw his arm around Blue's shoulders gently. "You need to stop letting them control your life. You're an adult, they can't hurt you."

---

"But if they find out, they'll take me back and make me do online schooling. I've thought it all through, I know exactly what would happen if they found out I was dating a boy."

---

"Blue. You aren't a kid anymore. You make your own decisions, they can't force you to do anything."

---

Blue sighed and rested his head on his shoulder. "You don't know my parents. They'll throw me in a dungeon and torture me." He exaggerated tiredly.

---

"I won't let them." Coconut smiled and nuzzled into his hair. "But seriously, stop letting your parents scare you into submission. The sooner you stand up to them, the sooner you'll be able to be free."

---

"I've never even thought about doing that before."

---

"Well, you should. It'll be hard, but the reward would be worth it."

---

"Are you referring to yourself as the reward?" He teased and smiled.

---

"If you want me to be your reward."

---

"Of course." He kissed his cheek and then rose from the bench, grabbing his hand. "I don't have any more classes today and I'm hungry."

---

Coconut stood up after him and smiled. "How about we go back to our dorm so you can take a shower? We can order pizza or something."

---

Blue's smile brightened. "That sounds good."

---

"Let's go then," Coconut smiled and tugged him to his car.
